Easiest cloud drive solution with only a few drawbacks
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox offers everything you could need in a cloud file system. It's prety, easy to get up and running, and very fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox and macOS don't play well together right now becuase of an issue with Apple deprecating an API that allows cloud files to download in the background when you click on them and open in a native app. It's not the worst but it's annoying that a big company like Dropbox hasn't come up with a solution yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files, controling access, and keeping some sense of version control is a struggle. Dropbox eases many of these issue for me and my workflows with a broad set of features to sync, share, and keep versions of files.
Adequate to my needs
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is like Apple products, easy to pick up and use, works the way they say it will, and is fairly secure. As a new or casual user Dropbox offers an easy and secure way to get cloud storage of your files. I've never had an issue with Dropbox being down, or losing my files, or being unable to upload/download files. Dropbox is my go to solution for sharing files for my business as it just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
Also like Apple Dropbox is fairly expensive compared to other solutions and is quite locked down. It does what it does and there is not much room for customization to create personalized solutions. I'm a tinkerer and often find myself having to look outside Dropbox for specific use cases. For example, I am a photographer and would love a way to automate uploading files, create individual share links that autopopulate in a database, and share with clients. I can do it with other solutions, but, last time I checked, not with Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mostly use Dropbox as a cloud backup for my files. It's great to know that no matter where I am or what happens to my physical drives, my business files and clients photos are still safe. I also use dropbox as a secure and easy way to share files with clients.
Easy to manage.
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to manage, and everyone on the team has access as allowed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The capacity. We are a small non-profit with limited resources. Sometimes it's easier to store things on the harddrive than in Dropbox due to space limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessibility of documents for the team in one location.
A Reliable Cloud Storage Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is a trusted cloud storage service that excels in accessibility and reliability. Its standout feature is the ability to access your files from anywhere, on any device, ensuring you always have what you need. The platform is highly dependable, with fast synchronization and minimal downtime, making it ideal for both personal and professional use. With strong security features like encryption and file versioning, Dropbox offers peace of mind for storing sensitive data. Overall, it’s a user-friendly, consistent, and secure solution for managing files across multiple devices
What do you dislike about the product?
One notable issue is the photos app within the platform, which can feel clunky and unintuitive, making it difficult to organize or view images efficiently. Additionally, the synchronization process, while generally dependable, can sometimes be slower compared to other cloud services, especially when dealing with large files or a high volume of data. These limitations can be frustrating for users who prioritize speed and a seamless experience for managing multimedia content. Also it will be useful to have a Google or Apple albums syncronization.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Dropbox for around 10 years now and have no complaints at all. There's more than enough space for my business needs, the emails I receive from the team are only about relevant stuff, and I can access my files from wherever I want. The price is very reasonable for the amount of space, too.
