What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive and easy to use. It's been one of my favorite tools to send documents to my clients who has restrictive access to WeTransfer or Google Drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe that you only have 2GB on free version, but it's a business, I understand this cannot be free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can send documents to my clients who have restrictive access to another tools like WeTransfer or has difficult access to Google Drive, since they are a Microsoft Teams users.

Great Product with a Few Drawbacks

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of sharing files and folders. Sharing controls are intuitive, great for teams. As a solopreneur, it's easy to share files with clients and business partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
With competition from Google and iCloud, the storage is somewhat limited, and paid plans can be pricey. It's more convenient to use as it seems like a more popular platform. Also, like many cloud services, data privacy is a real concern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest probelm that Dropbox solves is sharing large files. Email attachment sizes are limited so Dropbox solves that problem. Sharing files with custom permissions is nice as well. Overall, it saves time by making file sharing much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to send files/documents to my team both internally, as well as to external partners. Whenever feedback is needed, my teammates can make suggestions, edit documents, and overall keep everything organized. I appreciate that Dropbox can be used frequently without many disruptions or errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox is a great tool, but have noticed some lag in upload speeds on a mobile device versus a desktop or laptop. I think the fee structure for Dropbox limits my entire team's ability to use, but we make it work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working across teams, on a variety of different projects to meet various deadlines and action items. Dropbox allows my team to edit, adjust, add, etc. at a moment's notice, which is super helpful as we try to meet tight deadlines.

Dropbox is great for file sharing for collaborations on cloud

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is extremely easy to use and I love that. It is extremely reliable and and expandable as required. The best feature is that it is great to share file with the external vendors and third-parties. Also it is extremely secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
For business use, I think Dropbox is perfect. It has all the features that one needs. However, the free version that I personally use, fills up fast. I hope they used some compression algoithm for files to be compressed and stored.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Professionally, we use Dropbox as cloud storage for files such as documents, videos, photos that we need to share outside the organization. It is perfect for that, and extremely secure.

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Dropbox is that it just works without me having to overthink it. I can be on my laptop, phone, or even someone else’s computer, and my files are always there, ready when I need them. It’s that quiet kind of helpful always in the background, keeping everything in order. I really value that sense of security, knowing my stuff won’t just disappear. And when I need to send something to a friend or a coworker, it’s done in seconds. No stress, no back and forth. Just easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish the free plan gave a bit more space it fills up quickly, especially if you deal with photos or videos. And honestly, the paid plans feel a bit pricey for what you get. Occasionally, the desktop app lags a bit when it's syncing bigger folders, which can slow me down a little.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly, it takes a lot of little daily worries off my plate. I used to stress about where I saved things was it on my phone, my laptop, an email? With Dropbox, I don’t think about that anymore. Everything’s in one place, and I know I can grab it whenever I need it, even if I’m not at home. It’s helped me feel more organized without having to put in extra effort, and that just makes life a bit smoother

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the sync can be slow, and the storage upgrades feel a bit expensive compared to other options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox helps me keep all my files safely backed up in one place and makes it easy to access and share them from any device, which saves me time and prevents data loss.

Dropbox Review: A very good cloud storage app with a few limits

  • June 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Dropbox because it is very easy to use and it works on all devices, both on my PC and android. With it, it's easy to share large files and folders including videos. It was really helpful during my project early this year.
Dropbox also has a good file recovery, smart sync and offline accessibility features. It makes it possible for users to view documents without downloading and offers a high security measure through the use of encryption and two-factor authentication.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have enough free storage space, and it offers some paid plans for advanced features which can be a little expensive for personal usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before I was introduced to Dropbox, it was difficult for me to save and share my large files and folders especially my videos and presentations. I often struggled with sending large files through email, and I worried about losing my work if my device got damaged or lost. But with Dropbox, it has become so easy to store, organize, and share my files anytime anywhere.
I can access my project from any device, share folders with others without stress, and safely back up important documents and videos. It has truly made managing my work and creative projects much simpler and more secure.

Always there when I need it

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Dropbox is that it just works. No weird settings, no fuss drag a file into the folder and boom, it’s on all my devices. I’m constantly switching between my laptop, phone, and work computer, so having my stuff synced without even thinking about it is a lifesaver.I also use it a ton to share files with other people. Instead of messing around with huge email attachments, I just send a Dropbox link and we’re good. And being able to go back to older versions of a file? Total lifesaver more than once.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the free plan fills up way too fast. I get that it’s a business, but it’d be nice to have just a little more space before needing to upgrade. Also, some of the newer features feel geared more toward businesses, which is fine, but they kind of clutter things up for those of us who just want the basics.
The interface could also use a bit of a refresh it works, but it hasn’t really changed much in years. Still, it’s one of those tools you don’t notice until it’s gone and then you really miss it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox makes it super easy to keep all my files organized and accessible no matter where I am. I don’t have to email myself documents or carry around USB drives anymore everything’s just there, whether I’m on my phone, laptop, or work computer. It also saves me when I need to share stuff with others. I can just send a quick link and avoid the whole “file too large to send” headache. Plus, having version history has saved me a couple of times when I messed something up and needed to go back. Basically, it helps me stay sane and keep everything running smoothly.
