Excellent storage and file transfer
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is straightforward, allowing you to upload files by dragging them to the homepage. You can create folders to organize your storage better and set up the automation to organize your files for you automatically. With 2GB of initial space, you can store many files you don't want to lose and maintain them on Dropbox forever. You can find and download your files on other devices after logging in, making Dropbox an excellent way to work while you're on the go and retain all your work information. Dropbox makes files shareable through links that you can send to people. You can also create a list of people to invite to edit and download your files after moving them to a designated folder you mark as Shared. You can collaborate seamlessly through Dropbox this way. You can create new documents, Excel sheets, presentations, and more using Dropbox. You can invite people to work on them with you to collaborate efficiently. All new files you create are saved on Dropbox by default, similar to Google Drive. You can create scheduled backups with Dropbox for important files if you're worried about losing them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing wrong with Dropbox, per se. It works perfectly for stage, sharing, backups, and content creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is an excellent medium that lets my team and me share files easily. Its large storage capacity and cross-platform feature make it easier to send files across any device and collaborate with people quickly. You can make your files shareable by generating links and choosing who to share them with. Shared folders make this more convenient as the authorized users can view all the files in them, saving you time manually sharing the links. Dropbox can be used on the browser, making your storage accessible anywhere on any device if you cannot download the app. Any changes made to your files on Dropbox are easily reversible as Dropbox creates copies of the file for every change instead of overwriting. So, you can revert to a previous edition of the file if you wish to undo any edits. We use Dropbox to create documents, Excel sheets, presentations, etc., over the cloud, which Dropbox automatically saves to your storage. So, this saves the need to screen-share any content while collaborating, as anyone with access can view and edit the file themselves.
Best tool for exchanging non confidential data with external users.
What do you like best about the product?
The UI, ease of configuration, and access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox should look at options for storing the shared data for a longer period of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Limited ways for exchanging data with external users. Since this is a common tool, it is easier to access from your personal account and sharing data externally. (only non confidential data)
Effective cloud services for sharing, storage, and working
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is free and can be used across several gadgets for sharing, storing, and working using cloud services. You can use Dropbox to send and receive files between two devices under the same account by uploading from one and downloading to another. Dropbox is practical for long-term storage and constant backups, which you can enable after selecting the necessary files. With 2FA using Google, your Dropbox is safe, and no one other than you can view your files. If you want others to view your files, you can generate URLs for them using which they can view and download the file. You can also authorize permission to edit the file, which will create another version of the file rather than overwriting it. Group editing and tasks can be completed quickly over Dropbox as anyone with access can download the files whenever they please rather than waiting for you to share links every time. You can perform more extensive tasks and create a group work environment using Tools. Seamless integration with other software is what I like best about Dropbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
Low storage would be my only gripe against Dropbox, but it's manageable, and the other features heavily outweigh the cons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox enables cloud storage and collaboration during remote work since it works effectively over the cloud. Sending and receiving files has never been more seamless. Dropbox has been an effective medium for long-term file storage and constant backups of vital information. Dropbox syncs across multiple gadgets easily, making it easy to access any cloud file at will. With Tools, there's no task we cannot complete, whether documentation, spreadsheets, presentation slides, etc. We can simultaneously work on completing individual and group tasks seamlessly. For people outside our group, such as clients and temporary contractors, we can share files without granting them editing access, which is more convenient than conventional means. I also use Dropbox whenever I want to move files from my laptop to my phone or computer or vice versa. Certain file types, such as images, videos, documents, etc., can be viewed and read without downloading, thereby saving data. Offline viewing of files also helps when we're limited on bandwidth or the access to the internet is intermittent.
"One of the earliest solution for Cloud Storage, sharing and syncing files across devices"
What do you like best about the product?
My first platform for cloud storage was and still is Dropbox. The interface is very simple to use and works great for keeping your important files as you can access these files from anywhere. Works great when you need to share your file with one or multiple people as you just need to share the link of your file. No fear of losing your important files with the loss of your device or storage!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I feel is the limited amount of storage you get for free and the price you need to pay for additional storage. I would surely love it if we get more storage for free as currently, I get only 2.25 GB of free storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is helping me to keep my important documents on the cloud so that I can access them from anywhere. This certainly saves time and prevents us from making multiple copies of the same file. Sharing also becomes easy saving your time and improving productivity.
no more large size of hard drive
What do you like best about the product?
easy to upload/download and easy to share
What do you dislike about the product?
The size limitation of a free account which I wish to be bigger
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While we are not able to share large size of files with our customers, the best solution was Dropbox
Essential for storage, live updates, and backups
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is free and can be used anywhere to create secondary copies of important files, store essential data, and edit them on the cloud. You can use Dropbox alone or in collaboration with others. Any file you've uploaded to Dropbox can be shared with anyone using its URL, which you can share manually or by inviting them through their email. You can make your file private if you no longer want people accessing it with the URL. Dropbox also creates frequent backups of files from your computer from the selected folders. You can use Dropbox from your phone and other portable devices for backups, storage, and sharing between devices. You can share files with people by sending them to their Dropbox without needing a URL. Dropbox provides statistical information such as how many times your file has been viewed, downloaded, etc. Dropbox Paper, an extension of Dropbox, can be used for work collaboration needs. You can make new docs and slides, which you can work on with your coworkers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Out of all cloud storage and backup software, Dropbox offers the least storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Routine updates and backups, seamless storage, and easy file sharing are the problems Dropbox is helping us solve. We use it as a work platform to share files and collaborate on docs over Dropbox Paper. Whether on a phone or computer, file sharing via Dropbox is instant and secure over any connection. When we're working remotely, Dropbox makes it convenient to share files over a stable network, where the files can be viewed and downloaded at any time and multiple times if necessary. Having shared folders makes it convenient to authorise access to all the files inside them, enabling smoother file editing and productivity. You can quickly recover any deleted file on Dropbox, as there's a limit of 30 days before they're permanently gone. Dropbox Paper has been a vital tool in making collaborating easier. Instead of using Office 365 on the desktop and screen-sharing, we've found simultaneous editing on Dropbox Paper more efficient. We can also send files that may exceed our storage limit using the P2P system, which surpasses any of its competitors.
Very useful. Good storage and easy to get links to folders or files shared.
What do you like best about the product?
Sharing is easy. A certain amount of storage is free. and upgrades are not too much money.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any problems so far. Maybe if it could make pretty shortlinks too that would be cool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use files and folders to give out things to my email subscribers. I can use it to share epk files for venue gig promotion. or have people pay and then give them an item's link to access it.

I have all my files in dropbox and I use it as safe storage so I never worry about losing a file also it's very easy to share whatsoever with simple clicks, I don't think I can live without it
What do you dislike about the product?
except for the dropbox password manager, they still need some serious work to be done, hope they can solve it very soon
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
sharing and saving files, lately they have added singing documents so it's very handy for my business,
Easy to use cloud storage and backup
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to recover after my computer crashes. I rebuild windows and connect to dropbox. Install the app and my files are all restored to where they were just before the crash happened.
What do you dislike about the product?
In todays cost for storage I would like to see more storage space included with the plans. I know 2 TB sounde like a lot but if you've downloaded movies from iTunes that can be eaten up fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files that may be too big to send via email through dropbox is quick and easy. Rich click the file and create the link. Send this to the person you want to share with and you are done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They offer a 2TB free plan to test out the service. Try it out and see.
