Plenty of Storage, Reliable Backup Sync, and Handy PDF Editing

  • April 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like user interface is really good. It provides easy access to important features without overwhelming the user. Thanks to this, Dropbox is really user friendly and new people switching over to it will not struggle to implement its features in their daily work. Everything is well organised and I also like its integration with a PDF files that allows me to edit and sign PDFs without having to open another app.

One other feature to appreciate is the PDF preview feature. It is so well executed, and is basically as file viewer: Viewing PDFs and word documents in the side panel is clean, intuitive and non-distractive because I can still see the rest of my files in the centre view.

The performance and reliability of dropbox is very good and I haven't experienced any issues in my experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is where I feel like Dropbox really falls behind its competitors. It does offer decent pricing on it's existing tier but not enough options to encourage new or entry level consumers to turnover to Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me peace of mind knowing that if anything happens to my computer, I can access my folders from any of my other devices. It's not just useful in emergency cases but it also allows me to quickly share documents between my devices without the need of a physical connection.

Apart from sharing documents between devices, I can also share documents with other people and track activity on that document. This really encourages collaboration and teamwork.

Reliable, Simple File Syncing and Effortless Sharing with Dropbox

  • April 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Dropbox is its reliability and simplicity.
File syncing is fast and seamless across devices, and sharing files with clear access controls is effortless, especially with external stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Dropbox is the limited free storage and pricing.
The free plan offers very little space, paid plans can get expensive at scale, and it lacks true zero‑knowledge encryption for highly sensitive data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of scattered files, version confusion, and slow collaboration.
It keeps files synced in one place, makes sharing easy with anyone, and ensures I always work on the latest version—saving time and reducing rework.

Dropbox makes it easy to share and use files across multiple devices, even offline.

  • April 08, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox for file sharing and to be able to use them on multiple devices. It's convenient because it's often accessible even offline.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it happens that the file is saved in two versions; basically, a conflict between versions is created, and then you struggle to understand which one is correct. It's as if a sort of collision is generated between the file and the saving. It happens rarely, but occasionally it does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem is the file conflict: when the uploaded versions differ slightly, they easily end up in conflict. A possible solution would be to allow assigning a name and a version to the file, in order to better distinguish the various revisions.
