What do you like best about the product?
Teradata database is one of the best-optimized databases since I have worked with other platforms as well. The listening skills they have prompt a clear and efficient response.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analysis needs to be in-depth to understand clearly and once you get lost in the process it is hard to catch up since it takes time for the completion of the data analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Handling tasks such as optimizing the system, backup server setup, loaner system setup. It allowed me to connect with individuals of different skills and experience
Effective Database for Enterprise Wide Data Storage
What do you like best about the product?
I used this software as part of a continuous improvement team in a Fortune 100 company, and this system allowed widespread visibility throughout the company for users to access data. After the migration occurred onto this platform, it made integrations in third-party software (like Tableau) much easier to use and led to robust analytical capabilities that were previously lacking in our division.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve towards using this software, but the time invested in migrations is definitely worth the benefits you'll get out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some problems with Teradata Analytics are that it can be a bit difficult to optimize data integration onto the platform, but the benefit of having a central system with permission-able access levels to users in the company outweighs that problem.

What do you like best about the product?
It architecture is incredible that can work with huge amount of data and response is quick. Vantage incredibly enhanced it's performance, compression techniques,added new data types and string functions. Overall it's a fun to work with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Now a days visualization is at boom and there may be need of handling some special kind of data like Geospatial data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enhanced performance, new string functions, new data types. More choices for data block compression for table, join indexes and hash index.

What do you like best about the product?
Teradata has massive parallel processing and load balancing gives advantage to other database for data integration and data updation and analytics. Reporting differentiate it with other comparable tools in the market.

Teradata is costlier than other rdbms profucts.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Was facing delay in data fetching from on premises rdbms and data loading also slow. The data cleansing was taking time. This all got resolved using teradata.

The program lacks the predictive analysis capabilities, and the licensing costs are considered to be a little high in comparison to other alternative apps that it provides.

Teradata productivity is the handle of data; it helps myself to generate historical data reports for every department in less time; I simply enter the data into the softws now and automate the data analysis and visualization, in the form of contemporary graphs that match the circumstances.
