React nanodegree

  • June 28, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The course starts at the very basics of using just react and moves into implementing redux and packages that used in compliment to react. Also got into react-native
What do you dislike about the product?
React is a different model of thinking, more visual queues to understanding what is happening with aspects of using react and redux together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Continuous learning to grow my career and skillset.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your time with the coursework. do not rush through it.

It is very amazing product. You can learn all the necessary skills and be industry ready with the latest skill set required on job.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is anything I don't like about Udacity. I owe my latest skills to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my day to day work I use lot of skills that I acquired through them. I can't thank them enough for the study material, support, certification etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

Very good platform to learn but very hard to contact instructors and reviewers

  • January 31, 2019
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Content and challenges are really good. It takes good amount of time to learn and then implement in the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Biggest issue with udacity is contacting directly an instructor/reviewer there is not even a direct phone number. You have to rely on StudentHub to find answers to questions. But i feel that a direct interaction with instructor/reviewer of the project is really needed. My project has been reviewed but if i have a question i don't see any way to reply to that review in a way that it directly goes to the reviewer. If you are paying 900+ for a course i think this is very basic need for student to interact with a teacher. Platform almost hides all teachers behind a wall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
very good content if you have use case in mind, after the learning you can connect the dots..
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have good background on subject before getting in to Nanodegree, take the free classes before taking a Nanodegree.

Right place to kick-start your tech learning

  • January 31, 2019
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Most of the courses are free of cost and the nano degrees are worth the cost. The concepts are taught by industry experts with real-world case studies. The quizzes at the end of each topic give confidence to proceed, along with clearing any ambiguities. In particular, tis is the best place to start learning to code as each topic is followed by a hands-on exercise.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no option to audit the nano degrees. Certain topics like Tableau, Hadoop etc are very basic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding tech concepts and developing coding skills to begin my career in the domain of information technology. I am now confident that coding is not something impossible(always thought so owing to my non-IT background and education) and can be easily learnt with today's valuable online resources like Udacity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Udacity is good for someone to start their tech learning experience. However, if you plan to be an expert, one should look for resources beyond this.

What do you like best about the product?
Great classes, gave me alot of experince and knowldge
What do you dislike about the product?
I have passed projects, but for some glitch I cant get my diploma. Because one class from tem one is locked for some odd reeason... There rules say if you pass term2 you can get the diploma.. And I already passed term 1 and term2
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There customer service is really bad. I sent them more 15 emails regarding my problem... the only reply I got is to re pay for term two and reupload all my projects(which I cant afford)

What do you like best about the product?
Has good material and provides smaller units. This way, the content is not too overwhelming to take in.
The way the transcripts are designed for each video are also of high quality, easier to access and learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all content is easily accessible. Can be made more publicly available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learnt operating systems, machine learning, and many other georgia tech courses here.

Don't waste your time and money.

  • September 20, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There is nothing to like about this degree. This degree is meaningless to employers so it is waste of time and money to get this degree.
What do you dislike about the product?
Waste of money and time. Better buy videos from Udemy if you want to learn something worth your money and time. They promise you money back guarantee if you do not get your job with a program called nanodegree plus and later refuse it by making absurd demands that you do this and that. I don't have more time to waste.
Plus even the program is not that helpful. Don't get fooled by their advertisements. Their support is awful. I thought I would get in contact with many companies through udacity degree but no one knows what udacity is. In fact all the interviews I went for no one recognizes them. Useless degree. They say money back guarantee so I thought they will guide me through but almost no support. They tell you to talk with more people and those people I have to find on my own. You have to do all the work yourself and pay them for nothing.
Don't waste your time and money for this useless nanodegree. You can get the same knowledge for free in youtube and for very little in Udemy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They don't have anything new. Every thing they teach is very basic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Better learn form Udemy videos.

Good courses for computer science enthusiastic

  • May 13, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Very good courses on Artificial Intelligence.
2. Nice User Interface
3. Udacity has partnered with Professors from the best colleges for the course developments so that we
can get quality contents. (Like Gtech). I have gone through 2 courses from Georgia Tech. I found them extremely helpful.
4. Free courses from big companies like Google etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
"Earn a Developer Scholarship from Google!"
This program on Udacity is available for only US residents. It should be available for everyone. There are so many learners from the remote parts of the world who cannot afford the course price, and also they pay the course fee in dollars which has value way higher than their home country currency.
Nonetheless, there are still so many free good courses on UDACITY.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Growing my knowledge and skill sets to improve the state of the art technology.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1. The Nano Degree programs are really good but they are a bit expensive. If you can afford it, then you are good to go.
2. There are some good courses directly from companies like Google. Highly recommended for it

Great Project and Structured Curriculum

  • April 30, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoyed having very helpful feedbacks on all of the projects provided in the Nanodegree programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some bugs in the program that caused consistency issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a better understanding of modeling using Machine Learning and continue to learn every day. The biggest benefit is being able to have the confidence to tackle new challenges using the material I learned.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend anyone willing to upgrade their skillset or determined to switch careers to try out the nanodegree programs. The community is very supportive and the projects are challenging

Udacity | Best curated courses

  • April 01, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the content of the courses is really to a sky-rocketing level. The interface of Udacity is good looking and the Android mobile app is also good. Also, nanodegree programs are accepted and certified by companies so that helps in building the profile a lot. There are also courses by giants like Google on that platform which adds a lot of value.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support of Udacity is not that good and definitely not up to the mark really
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been as effective as taking up a class in a well established university directly. It helps in skill development at our own pace which can also be achieved in our free time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend taking a free class and then decide whether to pay for a course or not.
