Strong Device Visibility and Access Control, but Offline Codes Can Be Cumbersome
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Cisco Duo is the visibility it gives us into user devices and how easy it is to control which devices can access our systems. That added layer of device awareness helps us enforce stronger access policies and gives us more confidence that only trusted devices are being used. It is especially helpful from a security perspective because it makes it easier to manage access without creating too much friction for users.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most about Cisco Duo is that administering offline codes for server access can be frustrating, especially in environments where reliable fallback access is important. While the platform works well overall, some administrative tasks can feel more cumbersome than they should be. There is also a learning curve when configuring more detailed access policies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cisco Duo helps us secure remote access by integrating well with our remote access solution and giving us better visibility into where people are connecting from. Before that, we had less insight into access activity and fewer controls around remote logins. Now we can apply stronger authentication, see more clearly where access attempts are coming from, and make better decisions about who should be allowed in. That improves security, reduces access risk, and gives us more confidence in our remote access process.
Easy to use 2FA solution
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to deploy, easy to use, and fantastic tech support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't really found anything I don't like about it. If I had to come up with one negative it would be cost, but even then, it's just not that expensive in the overall scheme of things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
2FA has become a requirement for HB96 and DUO completes that requirement.
Cisco MFA Fits Seamlessly with Our Existing Firewalls
What do you like best about the product?
We currently use Cisco firewalls, and therefore the multi-factor authentication (MFA) requirement—being mandatory for us—can be fulfilled using solutions from the same vendor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Earlier, integration with the Duo LDAP cloud service was straightforward; however, it has now become somewhat more challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The requirement for multi-factor authentication (MFA) for secure zone login.
Cisco DUO has been our most reliable 2FA solution so far
What do you like best about the product?
Cisco DUO is very intuitive for both the end user and admins alike. The DUO app works with all kinds of mobile devices that I have come across and appears to stay up to date. The DUO solution is integrated with our Cisco Firewall solution so it is easily managed. The App performs very quickly, though it does rely on a decent network connection of almost any type. Cost associated with DUO is very reasonable compared to other solutions, and support is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to say here, other than the DUO Push solution is sometimes too qick. The end user does not expect it to only allow them about 7 seconds to approve the prompt. However this is almost always a breif learning curve to just be prepared when you hit confirm on the laptop knowing the prompt on your mobile device is following asap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this as 2FA to confirm VPN credentials and connect to our internal network for remote Team members.
Simple to Use, Secure Payments with Cisco Duo
What do you like best about the product?
I like Cisco Duo because it's very easy to use. The Multi-Factor Authentication feature is particularly valuable as it prevents unauthorized access and keeps our information safe. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess if the price can be cheaper, it will be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cisco Duo allows us to receive credit card payments and prevents unauthorized access with Multi-Factor Authentication.
Cisco Duo Makes Secure Logins Simple and Fast
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Cisco Duo keeps the login process simple while still being very secure. The push notifications come through quickly and are easy to approve. Overall, it does a great job of helping keep accounts safe without making things overly complicated for users.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don’t like about Cisco Duo is that the push notification sometimes arrives late or doesn’t come through right away, which can be frustrating. Also, when the network is slow, the login process can feel longer than I expect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cisco Duo helps in preventing unauthorized access and keeps company accounts secure. It reduces risk of password breaches and phishing issues. Because of this, we feel more safe while accessing work systems from anywhere, which is really helpful.
User-Friendly Authentication with Minor Backup Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Cisco Duo has a push notification feature that I can use right from my phone to connect. I find it very easy to use. The initial setup process was pretty easy as well; I just walked through the steps it provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that if I have to factory reset my phone or get a new phone, the authentication doesn't always back up correctly and you have to redo it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Cisco Duo to authenticate into a client's emails in Google Workspace. It eases the use of authenticating into their workspace.

Reliable Authenticator, But Number Entry Adds Friction
What do you like best about the product?
It is a reliable way to authenticate for website logins and a good authenticator code app at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I dislike is having to type in 3 numbers that pop out on the screen into the duo app on mobile to authenticate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves security with logging in to sites with sensitive information.
