using Hyperglance to curb our cloud spending

  • August 16, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We primarily use Hyperglance to ensure compliance with our cloud costs. It’s worked great for us and has probably paid for itself 100 times over.

One of the things I like best about the tool is how easy it is to leverage. After a couple quick walkthroughs with the Hyperglance engineering team, I was ready to get started. Prior to implementing Hyperglance, we faced significant challenges keeping our environment under control, and the related costs were not small. Hyperglance cut those down immediately.

Another great thing about Hyperglance is that the information it provides enables strategic decision making for current and future cost optimization. Through using the tool, we’ve gained key insights like where the waste is and whether we have deficiencies in our build systems. We do builds many times a day, across multiple clouds, and by examining our Hyperglance dashboards and reports, we have been able to capture real savings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t have many complaints. There are only two things that come to mind:

• It can be challenging at times to leverage all the valuable features in each new release. But perhaps we’ll take better advantage going forward.

• For our customers, AWS and Azure are #1and #2, respectively. We’re now venturing into other environments, like Google Cloud. With Hyperglance, feature parity between the different platforms can feel a little lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our test cases and automation are deployed as full-scale environments in the cloud. We do builds about every four hours. Over time, the storage costs associated with those builds become significant.

One of the problems we had was that many of these environments were running all day and all night, even if we didn’t need them to, and our costs were going through the roof.

Hyperglance solved the problem by systematizing cleanup of our online environments. The benefit has been huge: The cost of the license is nothing compared to the amount of money we’ve saved.

Empowering Infrastructure Management with Visualisations and Monitoring

  • July 10, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are several standout features that make Hyperglance truly impressive. However, the aspect I like best about Hyperglance is its powerful visualization capabilities. The ability to see a comprehensive, 3D representation of the entire IT infrastructure is not only visually appealing but also immensely valuable for understanding complex relationships and dependencies. This feature significantly enhances troubleshooting and decision-making processes, as it allows for a quick grasp of the overall architecture and the ability to identify and address issues promptly. The visualizations provided by Hyperglance truly elevate the monitoring and management experience to a whole new level.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Hyperglance is an exceptional tool overall, there are a few areas where it could be improved. One aspect that I found slightly challenging is the initial setup and configuration process. While the platform offers extensive customization options, the initial onboarding process can be a bit complex, especially for those less experienced with IT infrastructure management tools. Improved documentation or guided tutorials during the setup phase could greatly assist users in getting up and running quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hyperglance solves critical problems in IT infrastructure management by providing a unified and intuitive visualisation of complex environments, addressing the lack of visibility and reducing complexity. It offers comprehensive monitoring capabilities, enabling users to quickly identify and resolve performance issues. Hyperglance also supports hybrid and multi-cloud management, allowing users to visualise and manage resources across multiple cloud platforms. Additionally, the tool offers automation and integration options, empowering organisations to customise and streamline their IT management processes. Overall, Hyperglance's solutions benefit users by saving time, enhancing operational efficiency, improving performance, and enabling proactive infrastructure management

Clear Cloud Cost saving

  • March 31, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of the things that I like best about Hyperglance is how easy it is to visualize all of my cloud infrastructure in one place. It also has visualizations which makes it easy to understand more quickly. They also have a component that makes it easy to create your own rules that you can utilize later to search for similar infrastructures that you own to the one you searched for in case you want to visualize that or to shut it down
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Hyperglance is the difficulty of installation which helps with the security but adds an extra layer to the installation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hyperglance provides an opportunity to quickly visualize the infrastructures that I own to determine quickly which can be uninstalled and which should be kept. Which is costing too much money and not providing value due to minimal usage

Easy to use. Powerful inventory search. Cost-saving suggestions are quick to digest and implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to add GCP support in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hyperglance has automated the documentation I need to produce for my Compliance team (which took me hours each month). It's also helped me identify unused and insecure resources that I've shut down, saving me money on my cloud bill.
