Good tool for cross browser testing

  • July 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack has been helpful for cross-browser testing. It allows us to test our app on different browsers and mobile devices, which is crucial for ensuring compatibility. The interface is simple to use, and setting up tests is quick. It integrates well with our existing CI/CD setup.

One feature I really appreciate is the ability to test on real devices, which helps catch issues that might not appear in a simulated environment.

Overall, it’s a great tool that has improved our testing process
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I would like to see improved is the performance when testing via VPN. It tends to slow down the device, which can affect the overall test cycle time. Other than that, it’s been a reliable tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves the problem of cross-browser and cross-device testing, allowing us to ensure our application works properly for all users, regardless of the browser or device they're using. It benefits us by providing a seamless way to run tests on real devices and different OS versions without needing to set up and maintain multiple physical devices

Browserstack can address your all QA needs

What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack is most modern QA solution platform as well as device farm with unbelievable device and browser range. It is very easy to use and support teams always help to all integrations. BS can integrate with various software like Jira, GitHub and very easy to do CI/CD integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we using automation plans, we can't access live features on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we do the web automation, our main problem is capturing the all-network logs, console logs and screen recording for each testcases. Browserstack address that issue perfectly. They provide marvelous test result dashboard with all screen recordings with all logs.

If you need it, you need it

What do you like best about the product?
Quick access to many different systems, you can't have that many devices. If you want to debug display errors on exotic devices, there's nothing better. The different versions also allow testing of "older devices".
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the advanced features do not work reliably. Sometimes it works, then it's broken again.

The clipboard only works very unreliably for me. Alternatives should be offered here. If a stable integration is not possible, I would already be satisfied with a text input where I can "paste".

The camera feed is not reliably supported. In Firefox, I currently don't get a camera, the VR mode of Chrome where you can walk through an apartment and upload pictures currently crashes in S32 (Chrome crashes every time).

Local testing is too restricted. The tunnel to localhost is useless for the integration of third-party services, as they only run under localhost (in dev mode) or under the production URL. Scandit, for example, blocks usage if it doesn't happen from localhost, so the integration cannot be tested. Access via bs-local.com is not possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Validation of mobile website. With BrowserStack, we check if everything is rendered as desired. If problems occur, it assists in debugging.

BrowserStack - The best web and mobile testing platform

What do you like best about the product?
With the very simple UI, this is a very user friendly platform. With the massive access granting in the cloud, we don't need to maintain number of physical devices as well as different browser versions.
With the cross browser testing we can ensure the look of the website and the functions are working correctly on various browsers. With the cross device testing we can verify our product is working well on a variety of mobile devices.
As this supports for both manual and automated testing, the work is more easier.
The customer support is also very professional and supportive. Integrating with other apps makes work much easier. Also when purchased it allows unlimited usage to test which is totally worth the money. Implementation is also much easier and quicker than the other alternatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
When purchasing the parallel testing, it is limited to 1.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had to do a testing in different geo-locations and different operating systems. BrowserStack easily enabled us to do the testing without any blockers.

Seamless Cross-Browser Testing Made Simple

  • June 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack makes cross-browser and cross-device testing very efficient and reliable. I love how easy it is to use and add real devices for testing, without the need for complex local setups or emulators. The live testing and automated testing tools integrate well with our CI/CD pipelines, and the support for a wide range of browsers and OS combinations is second to none. It significantly cuts down our QA time and boosts confidence in every deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the product is feature-rich, the interface can occasionally feel a bit slow when navigating between devices or test sessions, especially during peak usage times. Also, depending on the plan, usage limits can be restrictive for larger teams.Minor issues compared to the value it provides overall...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack eliminates the need to maintain an in-house device lab, saving us both time and operational costs. It solves the challenge of ensuring consistent user experience across a wide range of browsers, screen sizes, and operating systems. By using real devices, we catch visual and functional bugs early—ones that local emulators often miss. As a result, our releases are more stable, customer satisfaction has improved, and our development cycles are more agile and efficient.
