BrowserStack: A Versatile Testing Companion for Mobile Apps

What do you like best about the product?
Before the availability of BrowserStack I used to test on three or four different Android devices and only one on iOS. I had a very limiting experience. However, the extensive range of real devices (and browsers) enables me to conduct comprehensive manual testing on multiple platforms very easily. I am using BrowserStack more frequently than my limited on-premise devices.

The interface is very user-friendly and seamless; i can easily switch between different devices, which saves both time and effort. I quite like the ability to run tests in parallel on two+ devices at a time, this is very beneficial for system integration test scenarios, significantly improving efficiency. I have only been using it for 6 months and I am learning new features as I go along but I am very impressed with the features I have discovered so far.

Overall BrowserStack grants a renewed level of confidence in the level of quality of the enterprise-level apps I test.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few dislikes, since BrowserStack offers so much variety. If I had to mention one or two I would say the following
1. Sometimes there are issues with lag and connectivity issues can occur abruptly, ending the session prematurely. After this, setup has to be performed again, which takes time since you have to register and go through 2FA to install the app you are testing. If this happens continuously (in the past it has) it can be quite frustrating.
2. It is not possible to test physical components of a device such as the NFC reader. If the feature is there then I have not found a way to utilise it, therefore it is difficult to know all the capabilities BrowserStack offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before BrowserStack, I was limited to a few outdated Android devices and only one iOS device. I could not test our apps across high end and low end devices. If testing on the latest OS was required, then a new device had to be purchased just for that but BrowserStack library of devices and device/OS combinations solves this problem.

What do you like best about the product?
I found their tool to be notably user-friendly. Its simplicity stands out as a key feature, making it accessible even for those with limited technical expertise. This ease of use is invaluable for streamlining our testing workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I've been impressed with the product's quality and its effectiveness in test automation, app testing, and app performance testing, I must admit that the price is somewhat on the steep side. However, it's important to note that the product quality does manage to offset this concern. For those who can afford the investment, the results are undoubtedly worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack is a valuable tool for us. It helps us quickly identify and resolve app issues while providing a comprehensive view of how our app performs across different platforms. Additionally, its API capabilities allow us to streamline result reporting, enhancing our testing processes.

All in One Testing

What do you like best about the product?
I live that I am able to use live devices over an emulator, and that I have many choices. This gives me the ability to choose mini phones that sometimes have difficulties with font and screen size formatting, as well as multiple expensive up-to-date phones that my company can't afford to provide. As QA, it is helpful to have so many options to test on that are live devices in my area.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little confusing to use at first because it does so much. I was using a different public cloud, and I knew how to manually install apps onto their phones, but I haven't figure out how to do that with BrowserStack yet. Still, I've only been using it for about a month and a half.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Live device diversity
