Easy to use and full functioned!

  • January 02, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack helps me to deploy my apps on real phones. I appreciate how easy the service is to use. By being easy to use, it helps to improve my workflow. I've tried multiple different services like Browserstack but I seem to always come back.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some hiccups here and there as there are with any service. I wish the customer support was a bit easier to reach but overall it is still great. I would only like to improve on the price mostly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to see what my apps will be like on different devices. Using Browserstack has helped me use both iOS and Android devices. Workflow is much easier now that I use it.

Test apps and websites on almost any device

  • January 02, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The availability of a wide range of devices is the best thing about Browserstack. Additionally, they also make new devices available quite fast, like in a week max, the device is available on Browserstack for us to test on.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, a one-minute trial is not enough to evaluate the product. Browserstack could give fewer devices but a longer time frame for the trial - like 10-15 minutes or something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can only have a handful of devices internally for testing our application. Browserstack widens the capabilities and enables automated testing on a wide range of devices. Additionally, we can debug the issue by getting a live session instantly and have debugging tools like inspection of traffic, chrome dev tools, etc.

Best emulator software in the market!

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the best is the amazing UI experience one has when using it. We can easily switch between devices which is great for debugging.
What do you dislike about the product?
The really could benefit from having a free tier for very basic needs. It would help promote the product and gain a bigger user base.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack allows me to quickly debug my developed apps and software across multiple devices.

Indispensable tool on any app I've ever built, even if "laggy" at times.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Our team uses browser stack mainly as a manual testing tool when developing web interfaces.

I appreciate how easy it is to set up local testing using the Browserstack Desktop App.

On top of that, most smartphones are actual devices.
I always feel more confident in the test results when I'm not using virtualised devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the responsiveness is inconsistent when testing.
When firing up a new session, I'm not guaranteed to get "snappy" interactions.

I can only assume the cause for this input delay.
However, as a customer, I should be provided clear information on the causes of "slow sessions" and possible solutions to prevent them.
Sadly, this has not been my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
App Live helps us manually test our new features and bug fixes and identify any issues before any new code reaches production.

The most significant benefit our development teams extract from BrowserStack is confidence before handing over features to our QA teams.

All the devices or the browsers of browserstack are easy to connect, even while doing manual testing or during automation
What do you dislike about the product?
A slight connecting issue might disconnect your device
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross browser and multiple platform testing, helps to identify resolution glitches, and faster automation test execution

Complete and Reliable Tool for Browser Compatibility Testing

  • December 31, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of the main advantages of BrowserStack is that it allows developers to test their projects in a virtual environment, without the need for multiple physical devices or browser configurations. This can be especially useful for companies that don't have access to a wide range of devices, or those that need to test on specific browser configurations that are difficult to replicate in an on-premises environment.

In addition, BrowserStack offers a wide range of testing features, including automated testing, integration with project management tools, and detailed reporting. This allows developers to test and debug their projects more efficiently, saving time, effort and money.

Overall, BrowserStack is a complete and reliable tool for testing browser compatibility. It offers a wide range of devices and browsers to test on, as well as advanced testing features that help make the testing and debugging process more efficient. The bug catching function is certainly the most useful function.
What do you dislike about the product?
Browser limited: BrowserStack only tests browser compatibility, not the operating system or device itself. This means that if you want to test an app's compatibility across different operating systems or devices, you may need to use other tools.

Internet dependency: BrowserStack is cloud-based, which means you need an internet connection to use the service. This can be a disadvantage for those who need to test in offline environments or with an unstable connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browser Compatibility: BrowserStack allows developers to test their projects on a wide range of devices and browsers, ensuring that they work correctly on different platforms. This helps us avoid compatibility issues that could affect your user experience and company reputation.

Productivity: With BrowserStack, developers automate their testing and integrate the service with project management tools, which can help increase the efficiency and productivity of our IT team.

Product Quality: BrowserStack provides detailed reports on test results, including screenshots and error information. This allows developers to quickly identify issues and fix them before releasing the product, which can increase the quality of the final product.

Scalability: BrowserStack is cloud-based, which means it's easy to add or remove devices and browsers as needed. This is helpful for our company, which needs to test products on different platforms as we grow and expand our user base.

Browserstack Live

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In the project I'm currently working on, we must test our application on several different devices, including desktop, mobile and tablet, so that we can ensure a vast majority of our clients will be able to use the application without issues, regardless of device. This would be next to impossible if it were not for Browserstack. With Browserstack, we always have numerous devices always available, and we don't have to spend on purchasing devices that will be obsolete in a few years.
Besides, not only does Browserstack offer an extensive range of physical devices to test with, it's also possible to choose different versions of the same operating system, making it easy to check whether our project does indeed work on slightly older versions of the OS (as some users don't always upgrade to the newest version, or at least don't upgrade right away).
What do you dislike about the product?
Testing mobile devices in situations where we need a specific file or image can be tricky. Sometimes even downloading an image from Google can be difficult, as we don't have the same gestures that we use on a physical device available when testing on Browserstack on a desktop. This has been somewhat remedied by the Image Injection functionality, but it's still not as smooth as testing on desktop, and could be further expanded to include iPhones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing with Browserstack Live diminishes our testing time (since it's effortless and quick to open and launch a device to test), and with that, we're able to spend more time actually finding bugs and testing than having to spend time configuring more complicated software. It's also important that Browserstack offers physical devices for us to test, rather than emulators, as it is the case with many competitors.

Browserstack is easy to use and very efficient.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The main feature of BrowserStack I like the most is its simple dashboard. When I am in a hurry, I can quickly select the device of my preference and test my website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Browserstack is easy to use when manually testing, but it's a little more technical to perform automation tests on BrowserStack. I think BrowserStack should create a detailed tutorial on performing automated tests on BrowserStack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack helps our business to find and remove bugs and glitches in the user interface of our applications.

My Goto recommendation for Device Farm testing when it comes to QA

  • December 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Extensive range of supported browsers and devices, including desktop and mobile platforms.
User-friendly interface, making it easy to set up and run tests.
Advanced features such as debugging tools, network throttling, and screenshot comparison.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing may be expensive for some users, depending on their testing needs.
Some users may find the platform's interface a bit cluttered at the beginning, making it harder to find specific features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Affordable pricing for small groups. More accessibility to more devices while doing POC or exploration during the beginning of a project for tool selection. UI should be more user-friendly which will help in the easy selection of the desired Device from the farm.

What do you like best about the product?
its easy-to-use functionality features, it comes with endless possibilities for app improvement. An interesting and unique approach to this amazing niche of a service.
What do you dislike about the product?
i dont like the UI, because it looks a bit clunky. The ui could have a more simple apperance and work just as well if not better to create a easier use for the customer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me as a programer test for bugs in my apps and lets be test out new features on real devices which. i highly enjoy as a customer and a programmer that works in tech.
