The cloud-based platform allowed me to test my web app on a wide range of browsers and devices, and I could identify and fix any issues before deploying it to production. The user interface was intuitive and easy to navigate, and the platform integrated seamlessly with my existing development and testing tools. One downside of using BrowserStack is that it can be expensive, especially for smaller development teams or individual developers.

A Comprehensive Cross-Browser Testing Solution

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like:

Comprehensive device and browser coverage: Browserstack provides a vast array of real devices, operating systems, and browsers to test on, covering almost all the major web browsers, mobile devices, and platforms.

Easy-to-use UI: Browserstack has an intuitive user interface that allows users to easily navigate between different browsers and devices. The tool's dashboard is well organized and provides a quick overview of test results.

Fast and reliable: Browserstack has a robust infrastructure that enables fast and reliable testing, even for complex applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike:

Cost: While Browserstack offers a free plan, it has limited features, and the paid plans can be quite expensive for small teams or individual developers.

Limited access to certain features: Some of the features, such as live testing, are only available on specific plans, limiting the flexibility of users to choose the features they need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is primarily used by us for cross-browser testing, which involves testing web applications across different browsers and platforms to ensure they work as intended for all users. We also use it to automate testing workflows, integrating it with popular testing frameworks such as Selenium and Appium

Greatly improves my work efficiency and browser testing

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I am web developer, and Browser Stack is one of the most useful tools I use on a daily basis. Some of the best things about this app is the fact that you can test your websites on real apps, which greatly improves my productivity in improving my UI layout and my backend functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the plan for enterprise and teams are pretty expensive, although I do appreciate that they allow you to get in touch with them for larger teams. One thing I don't like about this feature is that it doesn't allow for quick subscription and sharing of the subscription to one's team, and rather we have to contact them to find a price that would be agreeable on both sides, rather than just a set price that we can buy at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bluestacks is solving my problems of having to get multiple different devices to test out my apps and websites, to make sure that there are no problems or UI glitches on my website/apps.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can change android devices and browsers. BrowserStack offers many browsers and devices, allowing developers to test their applications. Their customer support is great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get expensive. I believe it starts out as $29 a month for the basic plan. It still has some limitations that may not offer solutions for some developers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can test if the app offers a wide range of compatibility with various devices and OS. Testing on multiple devices and OS versions allows me to be proactive.

I work with browserstack daily for manual and automation testing for iOS and Android.

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use.
Ability to use a variety of phones and screen sizes.
Ability to test on iOS and Android
What do you dislike about the product?
Response times. Sometimes its difficult to know if the phone has gone into a "sleep" state and when clicking on the device the response takes a while to be seen to be working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the current time is it a great resource in terms of managing our automation and learning. Coming from a manual testing background it is daunting to understand that what I'm doing is correct. So the familiarity makes this piece a little easier

A Strong Cross-Browser Testing Tool is BrowserStack

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've used many cross-browser testing tools over the years as a web developer, and I have to say that BrowserStack is among the finest. The platform provides a strong set of tools that make it simple to test web apps across a variety of hardware and browsers.

The wide variety of testing devices and browsers offered by BrowserStack is one of its best features. The platform enables access to a wide range of browsers, including well-known choices like Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, as well as less popular choices like Opera, Edge, and Internet Explorer. It also supports a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and desktop PCs.

The simplicity of use is just another fantastic aspect of BrowserStack. The platform is simple to use and intuitive, making it simple to set up and begin testing right away. The testing procedure is quick, and the outcomes are precise and trustworthy.

Overall, if you're a web developer seeking for a thorough cross-browser testing solution, I highly suggest BrowserStack. The platform is a great option for developers who want to make sure that their applications run smoothly on a variety of devices and browsers due to its extensive features and simplicity of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing for BrowserStack can be a little high for smaller companies or lone developers, which I would think is its weakest quality. The platform is expensive, but its rich feature set and high level of accuracy more than make up for it, and the long-term investment pays off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web developers' need for cross-browser compatibility testing is being addressed by BrowserStack. As a web developer, it may be challenging and time-consuming to make sure that the web apps I create function properly across a range of platforms and browsers.

By giving me access to a variety of hardware and browsers for testing, BrowserStack aids in the simplification and acceleration of this process. This helps me save time and ensures that my programs function properly for all users by enabling me to quickly and effectively discover and address any compatibility issues.

Additionally, developers who may not have much experience with cross-browser testing will profit greatly from BrowserStack's simplicity and intuitive interface, which make the testing process less intimidating and more approachable.

Overall, BrowserStack's capability to address the challenging issue of cross-browser compatibility testing and its usability give me a significant advantage by making it possible for me to create better web apps more quickly and confidently.

That I can test multiple things at once.

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Cuts testing time by a lot. I especially appreciate the simulators. One of the best things about it is that I can test multiple things at once. I haven't tried many others so I can't really attest to the competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't test animation effects, the refresh is too low. If their service is down, so is your testing, havent happened many times but it does happen. The colors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was trying to see if I had any bugs and if I did I was trying to figure out how to fix them. With this I am a ton more productive. My business performance increased significantly!

Great service to automate UI tests for mobile

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack is very useful service for mobile automation testing and UI verification. It provides full suite of APIs and browsers hassle free. You as a developer don't need to set up all drivers, start servers, etc.

Also, it has pretty good coverage of Android devices to reproduce tricky bugs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some Android native APIs behave differently from devices I used locally. For example, autofilled values were not accessible to test for verification. It could be connected to security restrictions due to potential modification in sortware of connected devices in Browserstack, but I can't confirm that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack provides good set of tools and wide variety of devices to reproduce issues, test application behavior and verify correctness or presented UI. It helps to reduce time QA teams need to run regression tests.

Best platform to automate and test your android & iOS Apps

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
App Live is one of my best features that BrowserStack has.
We have been using this for so long and it helps us test both Android & iOS through a wide range of devices and OS
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major its just that sometimes it gets slow for us here and due to that we see some laggy AppLive behavior aside from this it always performs up to our expectations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solved our problem for the ability to test apps on wide range of devices and also gave us the control to automate the process of testing, Automated testing reports are also good
