Intuitive Interface with a Massive Real Device Library for Faster Debugging
What do you like best about the product?
Instant access to a massive library of real devices and browsers is a major plus. I find the interface very intuitive, and it makes debugging much faster than with other tools I’ve used. The live testing feature is excellent for hands-on interaction, while the automated screenshot tool feels essential for catching subtle visual bugs across different layouts and screen sizes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, I notice some lag or input delay, and it seems to vary depending on the specific device I’m using or my current network connection. I’d really like to see quicker boot-up times for virtual sessions, along with more consistent stability during high-resolution live testing, so the overall experience feels even more like working locally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It does a great job of bridging the compatibility gap across different browsers and hardware. By eliminating the need to set up and maintain multiple local testing environments, it saves me a tremendous amount of time. Having access to a reliable cloud of real devices makes my debugging process far more efficient and gives me much more confidence in our final product.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the massive selection of real devices and browsers. Being able to instantly test how a website or app looks and functions on older iPhones, various Android models, and different versions of Safari or Chrome without needing physical hardware is incredibly convenient. It saves a ton of time and eliminates all the guesswork.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because BrowserStack offers so many different products now (Live, App Live, Automate, Percy), the dashboard UI can feel a bit cluttered and overwhelming for a first-time user. Navigating the initial setup and finding the exact testing tool you need has a slight learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the logistical challenge of cross-browser and mobile testing, especially for remote or distributed teams. Instead of passing around test devices or struggling with local emulators, the team can test everything in one unified cloud environment. This saves us hours of setup time and allows us to catch environment-specific UI bugs much earlier in the development lifecycle

There is a specific kind of stress that comes right before a release - that feeling of "I hope this works on every device." BrowserStack is the tool that removed that feeling for me.
What I use most is jumping into a real device session mind development, not just at the end. Catching something early during development is so much cheaper than finding it after deployment. The platform is fast enough to make that a habit rather than a chore. Real browsers, real devices, actual results - no surprises waiting on the other side of a release.

Not much dislikes. If I has to pick something - one busy days the session initialization takes slightly longer than I would like. Also, for developers working independently the pricing requires some thought before committing.

The gap between development environment and real user environment. That gap is where most embarrassing bugs live. BrowserStack closes that gap. Since using it regularly my post release issues related to browser and device compatibility have dropped noticeably. It is one of those tools that quietly makes you look more professional without you having to do anything dramatically different.

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly the thing that got me was how little effort it takes. I open BrowserStack, pick a browser, pick a device and I am testing within 30 seconds. There is no installation, no virtual machine, no borrowing someone's phone. Everything is just there.
The real device accuracy is what keeps me coming back. I once spent two hours trying to figure out why a layout looked fine locally but weird on a clint's iPad. Now that kind of mystery does not happen anymore because I check on actual devices before anything goes live.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have strong dislikes. Occasionally I wish the session stayed active a little longer without needing to refresh. Small thing but noticeable when you are deep in debugging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delivering work with confidence. Before this I would finish a project and quietly hope it looked fine everywhere. Now I actually know it does. That mental shift alone made my delivery process a lot cleaner and saved me from rework that nobody wants to do after a project is already handed over.

What do you like best about the product?
The readiness and constant availability of such a wide variety of devices is fantastic. It makes it incredibly convenient to test both web applications and games across different hardware specifications. Having the entire team able to access the same device virtually at almost any time is a major advantage compared with passing around physical handsets.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a smaller organization, the biggest hurdle is definitely the subscription cost. Even though it can save money on hardware, the monthly fees can still become a significant line item when the budget is tight. I’d really like to see more flexible pricing tiers aimed specifically at small startups or indie developers.

It completely removes the logistical hassle and huge expense of procuring real, physical devices. With instant cloud access to a range of models, it keeps our entire team aligned throughout QA. It’s a very user-friendly solution that helps ensure our products stay compatible with the latest hardware on the market.

What do you like best about the product?
Most of my work is backend heavy but the frontend still needs to work perfectly across different browsers and devices. That part always used to stress me out before delivery. A client would open the website on Safari or an older Android browser and something would look broken that I never saw on my own machine.
Browserstack made that problem go away. I can quickly jump into a real browser session, check how the UI renders, catch any CSS or layout issue and fix it before the client ever sees it. No extra device needed, no complicated setup. The simplicity is exactly what works. It does not require you to be a testing expert to get value out of it.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I don’t have major dislikes. The only minor thing is that certain older browser versions are sometimes unavailable when you specifically need them for testing a legacy project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every web project I deliver needs to work on Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Mobile browsers. Manually checking all of that without BrowserStack was guesswork. Now I do a proper check before every deployment and client complaints about UI issues have dropped significantly. It fits into my workflow without disrupting it which is all I really needed.
