Domo is charged more than what small scale users can afford, making it expensive among other tools
For advanced features, Domo is slightly complex and proper training is a must

Domo is outstanding in centralizing business data, more so when one needs proper analytics and reporting

Domo price is described as very expensive and sometimes, users wish the vendor could revise it

Domo is impressive in data centralization and this allows sourcing from diverse and reliable data sources
The process of reporting and analysis is conducted using BI and this brings a satisfactory experience and workflow

There are/were limitations with LOD expressions that tableau has. Essentially Tableau has more capability to customize.

What I like best about Domo is its ability to bring data from multiple sources into a single, easy-to-use dashboard. The real-time data updates and interactive visualizations make it very convenient to monitor performance and make quick decisions. It also offers strong reporting features and user-friendly interface, which helps both technical and non-technical users work efficiently. Additionally, the cloud-based access allows me to view insights anytime, anywhere, improving overall productivity.

What do you dislike about the product?

One downside of Domo is its relatively high cost compared to other BI tools, which can be a concern for smaller teams. Additionally, some advanced features have a learning curve and may require technical knowledge to fully utilize. At times, performance can slow down when handling large datasets, and customization options in certain areas feel limited. Improving documentation and support response time would also enhance the overall experience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Domo helps solve the problem of scattered and disconnected data by bringing multiple data sources into one centralized platform. Earlier, it was time-consuming to manually collect and analyze data from different systems, which often led to delays and inconsistencies. With Domo, data is integrated and updated in real time, allowing for faster and more accurate reporting.
This has benefited me by saving time, improving data visibility, and enabling quicker decision-making. The interactive dashboards make it easy to track key metrics, identify trends, and share insights with the team, ultimately increasing productivity and efficiency.

What do you like best about the product?

it was an all in one tool so i didnt have to buy separate tools for each stage in the date pipeline from extraction to visualization

What do you dislike about the product?

while it did everything it wasnt great at pulling a heavy amount of data. visualizations were more modern than competitors, but weird UIs

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

it was our starter data software that could do everything for us to get pipelines set up, databases made, and visualizations all made within 1 platform

What do you like best about the product?

Very comprehensive reporting that can be filtered and sorted in a variety of ways to find the data that I need.

What do you dislike about the product?

Domo can quickly feel overwhelming because of the sheer number of filters and boards, and I sometimes find it difficult to tell whether I’m interpreting the data correctly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What user trends are we seeing that affect renewal and retention rates, and how should that guide what we build as a design and product team? I also leverage it to find top or bottom users of a feature so I can pull a list for user interviews.

What do you like best about the product?

I really like Domo's analyzer and how easy it is to bring in data using the connectors. The interface is wonderful and super simple. The ability to create cards and dashboards is very user-friendly, unlike any other reporting tool. I love Domo, and I'm all in. It's definitely a product I'd recommend to others.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes there's challenges with those connectors on knowing which ones to use. So, you know, there's OAuth and different API ones. Like, even with NetSuite, there's several different types of connectors, and it's a little confusing on which one to use and how to get it to work. We usually get past it, but those connectors sometimes are difficult. Also the AI features have been difficult to ramp up to be useful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Domo to combine system data for reporting, overcoming poor reporting in systems like NetSuite and Shopify, giving us easy-to-digest insights.

High caliber people who are great to work with and seek to understand their clients needs.

What do you dislike about the product?

It can do so much that it ends up feeling intimidating to use, especially at first.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps with data modeling and makes our data more workable overall. Anyone can build a dashboard, but this is what improves the underlying data.

What do you like best about the product?

I like how Domo is a one stop place for all our data - where it can all be connected - and it's been easy enough that people who are nontechnical, such as our team, have been able to work with some people at Domo and still create really useful info for our organization.

What do you dislike about the product?

That initial little bit of learning curve does take some time, so people need to invest in that.

Domo provides a focal point for all our data, making it easily accessible and understandable for our teams across different locations, which boosts our data-driven decision-making processes.
