The user interface is straightforward and includes all the essential features required for testing APIs. It also allows for efficient debugging, making the process smooth and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
The collections export feature would be more effective if it allowed users to share collections directly with each other, instead of requiring one user to export and then share the files offline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a comprehensive API (Application Programming Interface) platform that supports developers throughout the entire process of designing, building, testing, documenting, and managing APIs.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Postman for testing my APIs because it allows me to test API calls without downloading anything and gives me fast responses. This is really helpful for my daily development tasks. I like its simple interface, both UI and UX, which is quite good for new users. It was so easy to set up, just go to the website and log in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I still need to see the promotional dashboard. It should use cache as the user has already seen it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman to test my APIs without downloading anything, get fast responses, and it helps with my daily development tasks.

Intuitive API Testing with Room for Improvement

  • December 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Postman makes it easy to test, debug, and document APIs all in one place. It's more user-friendly than other tools I used before, which is why we switched to it. I appreciate that it supports team collaboration and makes testing and sharing APIs much easier. The initial setup was very easy, and overall, I find it very helpful for API testing without needing a frontend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels a bit heavy for simple requests, and managing environments or large collections can get confusing. Performance can also slow down when collections grow big. Also, testing different APIs like GraphQL is really hard in Postman.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps with API testing without needing a frontend, makes it easy to test, debug, and document APIs all in one place, and facilitates team collaboration.

All-in-One API Building Without Extra Tools

  • December 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For manual testing, I think it's great for sharing requests, manual testing, and documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman is better suited for manual testing. If you're going to need to do serious manipulation of data (in between calls), you should turn to a programming language instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We did use postman for most functional manual testing and did play around with it in CICD but we've mostly migrated it all the rest assured now and automated the lot. Post is quick and simple, but at scale and for performance I like a coded open source tool.

Clean, Organized Interface Makes API Management a Breeze

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the clean, organized interface. Even when working with complex APIs, everything feels manageable and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more useful features are locked behind a paid plan, which can be frustrating if you’re just using it for personal or small projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps standardize how APIs are tested and documented. That makes collaboration easier and reduces confusion when multiple people are working on the same API.

Intuitive and Essential API Testing Tool

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find the UI of Postman pretty user-friendly, which makes it really easy for a newbie to get used to the application. The option to import collections is really helpful, allowing me to import and export collections between Postman and other API clients. Setting up Postman was really easy, taking only a few minutes. It helps me in testing various APIs and endpoints, figuring out responses for requests, and debugging to ensure everything is alright. I also save a lot of time by using Postman to hit localhost endpoints, which is more efficient than making requests through a website.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, Postman meets all my day-to-day needs. On the top of my mind, there isn't anything that I dislike about Postman.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman to test APIs, figure out responses, and debug requests, saving time compared to using the website.

Streamlined API Testing, But Pricey for Small Teams

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Postman for testing API endpoints and creating new API endpoints for backend development. I like how we can organize, save, and use the API endpoints. I'm able to easily share my curl requests and import collections, which helps me with my team. The initial setup was plug and play.
What do you dislike about the product?
I mean, the cost is really expensive. For teams, or small teams maybe the cloud version is cheaper and also AI is still increasing. I wish it had a cheaper version for sharing with my colleagues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman for testing and creating API endpoints, debugging responses, and backend tech. It organizes, saves, and uses endpoints effectively. Sharing curl requests and import collections make team collaboration easier.

Easy and Reliable Tool for API Testing and Development

  • December 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is very easy to use and saves a lot of time while working with APIs. I like how quickly I can test APIs without writing any code. The UI is clean, requests are easy to create, and collections help me organize APIs properly. Environment variables are very helpful when switching between dev, staging, and production.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Postman feels heavy and slow, especially when working with large collections. A few advanced features are confusing for beginners. Also, some useful features are only available in the paid version, which may not be ideal for small teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps me test and debug APIs quickly without depending on frontend or other tools. It reduces development and testing time by allowing me to verify request and response behavior early. This helps avoid production issues and improves overall API reliability.

Essential Tool for Streamlined API Testing and Team Collaboration

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
i like postman because it provides a complete and user-friendly api testing environment. with postman, i can easily create organized collections for different project, which helps keep all api requests structured and manageable. it also allows importing and exporting collections, making it simple to share work with team members. additionally, i can invite teammates directly to collaborates so everyone can contribute to the project in real time. as a backend developer, i use postman daily for testing and validating apis, and it significantly improves my workflow and productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes postman becomes slow, especially when i have multiple collections loaded. it occasionally needs to be restarted because, after being idle for long time, certain requests don't execute properly and get stuck in a continuous loading state. the ui can also feel slightly complex for new users, and sharing collections with teammates can be a bit confusing for someone using it for the first time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
postman solves the problem of efficiently testing and managing multiple apis. when i test an api once, i can save then request along with its payload. this make retesting much easier because i can reuse the same payload, modify it slightly if needed, and quickly send then request again. Postman also supports pre-request and post-request scripts, which is very useful. for example i can automatically save tokens to my environment and reuse them across multiple requests without manually copying and pasting each time. another major benefit is environment management. i can create separate environments like local, dev, staging or production and simply switch the environment from the dropdown. postman automatically picks the correct variables for then entire collections, which save a lot of time and prevents mistakes. since some apis developed by me and some by teammates, using the same shared collection helps everyone stay aligned. if i need to test an api created by someone else, i can easily find it, run it and reuse the saved request. postman also syncs between the desktop app and the web version.

Intuitive API Testing with Seamless Collaboration

  • December 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Postman for its UX and ease of use. The learning tutorials are helpful, and the features they keep adding reduce manual switching and tab hopping, making the experience smooth. I find the ability to store auth/secret keys in variables incredibly useful, as it makes testing multiple APIs that require an auth token or key much easier and hassle-free. The initial setup is very easy, and I love how it allows non-tech people to verify and participate in API validation and testing without relying on terminal or curl commands.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think more work on Postbot is needed. I would love an end-to-end automated testing workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman for API testing, it removes the need for terminal commands, allowing non-tech POCs to participate in testing, reducing blockers. Its ease of use, UX, and features like storing auth keys decrease friction and make multi-API testing hassle-free.
