The unsung hero of my API Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Postman takes away the hassle of testing by giving me an easy interface to send requests, set parameters, and check responses quickly. The ability to save and group APIs into collections has been a game changer because I don't have to redo the same setup again and again. I also like how simple it is to share collections with teammates or import external APIs when needed. It's the tool I rely on almost every day to keep my API work organized and efficient, and if I have any problems with the work or technical issues that customer support is always there for a quick reply.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes postman works slow, especially when working on a machine with limited resources. It can slow things down. Few features like advanced scripting or handling very large collections can get overwhelming sometimes. Also, some features are only available in higher paid versions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman makes it simple and easy for me to manage the entire API lifecycle in one place. I can quickly test APIs with just few clicks without needing to write scripts or use curl commands every time the saved collections help me retest and debug multiple times with ease. It offers some useful AI features as well, which makes life easier. It also allows me to share the collections and import external API's which makes my job much easier when working with team.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman solves the issues of manual API testing and lack of team collaboration. Before Postman, maintaining documentation was difficult. With Postman, I can manage API testing easily, share collections effortlessly, and keep documentation up to date.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman has introduced their best feature as Postbot AI recently. with help of postbot ai we can directly write a script for different APIs. also postbot can used for making new simple APIs for new users on postman.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs Improvement for better accurate responses for perfect solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman's postbot ai is useful for making new environment variables to store confidential credentials in postman for backend APIs. Postbot ai can help to solve error's during making backend APIs also give recommendations too. Write scripts for backend APIs. For newly joined user's postbot ai is god like.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman very usefu tool to check API related testing Issues and it is easy to use and provide the details which we needed. It is very helpful for to check the Issues by ciustomer support team. Easy to use and Implemant.

Some features we are not able to access because of subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To provide the API to the customer we first check over postman and if it is successful we provide it to customer. If any issue we tackle it using Postman there are various API methods we use such as GET & POST mathod.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is useful local tool to check whether API is working or not. There are various API methods which I use according to use such as post and get method. It is very easy to created, test and debug API related Issues. It gives me detailed data Information about the response. If the response is 200OK it means it is is successful, if 401 it means authorization error in that case I have to check token id and spelling and if getting 500 Internal Server Error in that case check the server Issue, It is very professional tool to test API. It really helpful a Customer Support Person. It is easy to implemented and can be integrated with other CRM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are limited and only works in case when we take subscription. Large responses sometimes cause performance slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of our customer using click to call API and they are facing issue when do click to call from their CRM. So I checked API from postman and it is working fine I checked the response it is reflecting 200 Ok, which means API is working fine. Postman solves API related Issues and it is helpful for me to resolved those Issues and I can check the response using the postman.

I can feel a bit heavy if i need a quick request and also take up more memory than expected

When postman introduced their AI name postbot it's a game changer for many back-end API developers to make APIs easily with postbot help.

Some time postman testing API process is stuck and getting slower

Postman mostly used for making APIs for back-end development and also used for testing different app's APIs. Also postman has introduced their AI name postbot AI. It's a useful for automatic setting variables and also write scripts for API.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Postman’s collections with environment variables and creating workspace. They make organizing APIs across different environments easy. The Workspace feature is best for team collaboration, letting us share, update, and comment on APIs in real time. It’s intuitive, so creating and managing requests feels effortless. The setup is quick, which got our team up and running fast. Additionally, the documentation and active community helps in staying updated with the product. I use Postman daily for testing and debugging, and the live updates in team workspaces make collaboration simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that bugs me is the occasional lag in the desktop app when dealing with large collections or heavy request loads which can slow down the debug sessions. Also, the free tier has some low limits on API calls and team features, which forces upgrades if you're collaborating a lot.

The problems it solves are:
1. Easy collaboration with team so you donot need to reach out to members frequently and boosting productivity
2. Environment variables helps testing multiple APIs easy as all the variables are set at one place and modification becomes easy

What do you like best about the product?
I like Postman because it has a clean and user-friendly interface , making API testing simple and fast. the ability to write scripts and test APIs in bulk is also very helpful for developers and testers.

Sometime Postman feels heavy when handling large collections , and it can slow down on lower-end system.
