Use this daily for API calls
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to group APIs and really easy to use the interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it lags with APIs like it crashes when I do not get a response back. Very rare though

Working on Django rest framework using Postman. I can easily execute different types of REST APIS

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is best tool for quickly and easily send REST, SOAP APIs and test them without any other interface. It makes development so quick and easy. Its very simplified and give the right results and messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's limited to API tool and can have other built in utilities that is useful in APIs development
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman enables us to seamlessly publish our API and mock server saves lots of time in development.
Postman - a seamless way to accelerate API development
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of development that it provides, the documentation that is automatically generated, the amazing functionality. The dark mode is a really nice feature, too. Implementing it for our organization was very easy and seamless. There was nothing too out of the ordinary when setting it up and we were up and running production wise in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend this product for everyone and everyone who is getting into API development or thinking of implementing something similar.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be a bit cleaner, sometimes it's ambiguous and you don't really know which elements are doing what. Aside from that there is nothing too bad to dislike about Postman. Again, the main dislike is that there are some ambiguous UI elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that are being solved are mostly just the normal API development problems such as; Implementing a testing suite, being able to test as you develop for rapid API development, the ability to easily organize your API calls, to see and save the responses.
The benefits have been vast; Our API developers have never been happier with this, the ability to define different errors and see them come to life is very amazing. Programmers can add different comments to each request and add different notes depending on the query, but also show different examples of how the query might be used. All in all, this has been an amazing experience and Postman has changed API development.

Look at the alternatives - they alll include trials and you can make the decision for yourself that this is the right tool for the job if you want to have a good API.
Postman is a great tool for software developers!
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is reasonably priced at $8/month. Setup was painless and quick. Postman also allowed me to set up a team so my colleagues and I could share api's. Method calls can also be easily tested in Postman. Users can also save collections of calls to share with team members. I could not imagine web developing without the use of Postman.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman does not offer threat protection. The reporting capabilities are also lacking a bit. Postman does not run great on iPhone or iPad. It could also improve on the sharing capability for non-workspace users. The UI does take some getting used to, and some neat features can be hidden away. There wasn't a very detailed "getting started" guide at the launch of the application. Postman does provide documentation for getting started, but there is a bit of a learning curve involved. It would be nice to add extensions such as "Beautify" when dealing with JSON text. One thing I noticed is that you have to be a subscriber to the "Professional" edition of Postman to get the full benefits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps me quickly mock api's. This helps me design and test right away. One benefit I have realized is better teamwork. On Postman, creating teams and adding users to shared schema allows for better integration and communication. I have also realized that configuring and executing HTTP requests are almost seamless in Postman.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend giving Postman a shot for API testing. Postman can be a very powerful tool if used correctly. There are also many tutorials available to get over the learning curve.
Good Testing Tool for REST API
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use for any test any REST API. Its stable even when you have large input as well output data.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we have multiple request to save its sometime difficult to manage many request within postman.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have to use curl command with UI, but postman its easy to test and run REST API. We have other free tool but POSTMAN is stable and easy to use.

Postman makes testing APIs simple. This applies to both APIs that you are developing personally, as well as APIs from 3rd parties.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many downsides to be honest. There is a bit of a learning curve, but after a few short hours of exploring the tool, the learning curve is complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of faster, more efficient testing of APIs during development. I have realized the benefit of greatly reduced time getting feedback on development changes during API development.

Don't look any further - Postman is the premiere tool for testing and exploring APIs!

I utilized it daily for both manual and automated API testing. What I appreciate about it is the comprehensive set of API-related functionalities consolidated in one platform. It enables you to design and develop APIs, conduct testing, document your APIs, and collaborate seamlessly with team members.

Expanding the options to enhance the reusability of automated scripts would be highly beneficial.

1. Best about the tool is that we can call the API by using the provided parameter values.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to have dislike about the tool, however we should have in-depth knowledge of the tool for performing in-depth testing, as it offers a huge functionality i.e hidden.

We can easily perform testing for the API's by providing the parameters values.

What do you like best about the product?
I love postman because all i have to do for testing out new apis is put in the URL and my headers and it outputs the request. I love it mainly because the UI is nice and clean. It's really easy to work with and a great tool for developing new data heavy apps and apis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about Postman, its a clean and simple tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Postman, we test out new API's we're developing by sending in sample data to a url and checking the output of the data. We found this has been on of the easiest approaches towards handling development of apis.

If you're a software developer and you're testing your request all in browser, you're doing it all wrong. Please use Postman for checking out request. It's very simple.
