It is good, being a backend developer I can not imagine my life without postman.
What do you like best about the product?
In postman I like the Feature to directly paste the curl in the url box, which automatically makes the entire request, also feature to bulk edit the key value pairs is also good, beautify feature is also good which formats the json automatically.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't see any downside as of now, but in between it was kind of forcing me to log in to use some the stuffs, I don't remember exactly but that was quite annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
basically with postman I can test my apis without the need of the UI, so this is why postman is very useful for backend developers.

Essential tool for API testing and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Postman has become a must-have in my daily workflow. It makes API testing so much easier, from quickly setting up requests to organizing them into collections. I like that I can save environments, variables, and test scripts so I don’t have to repeat work. The collaboration features are also really handy, our team can share collections and work off the same documentation without confusion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the desktop app feels a little slow, especially with large collections. The UI can be difficult for new users because there are so many options and menus. It’s powerful, but it does take a bit of time to get comfortable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps us test and debug APIs much faster. Instead of manually writing curl commands or switching between tools, we can send requests, check responses, and even automate tests in one place. It also keeps our collections and environments organized, so the whole team can reuse them without confusion. This saves time.

In postman we can use different environment variables for different projects confidential data storing with proper management.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's quite hard for new users to make different environment variables in postman.

Environment variables are useful for store confidential passwords of different environment projects and easy to handle all environment passwords

Postman's postbot AI is useful for make scripts directly in API creating with different environment variables

Postbot AI is not perfect to make all api's script for backend api development.

Postbot AI is a great implementation by postman for make in easy way api scripts in postman without wasting a time.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is one of most essential tools in my daily workflow as as software developer. I really like how easy it to test, debug and document APIs all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Postman feels a bit heavy on system resources, specially when working with large collections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Potman solves the problem of manual API testing and inconsistent documentation. With it, I can quickly validate endpoints, automate regressions testing, and share APIs with my team. This has improved collaboration, reduced errors, and saved us hours of time compared to manual testing or using multiple tools.

easy to understand and can be taught quickly to anyone either tech or non tech background employee.

Often seen postman get hang due to various reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If I see my journey I would say Postman made API testing too easy for a non tech person, even they can quickly learn and start using postman for day to day activities like monitoring and testing.
Postman is like a default tool for anyone who is working with API's.

By using postman we can create and work together on an API. It's very helpful for a beginner like me to learn and create API's. Postman is easy to use and also provides Free trials for its premium features. The overall interface to so user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that Postman is a little heavy and uses a lot of memory, sometimes it makes my computer slow. Also some good team features are locked in paid plans. Also there should be a user-compatible plan needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman solve the problem of testing API without writing long or complex code. Before this, checking API was hard and boring, but now I can just click and see the response quickly. It make my work faster, save time, and also help me learn how APIs really works.
