What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a widely used API development tool that enables developers to design, test, and document APIs. Its features include automated testing for bug detection, an intuitive interface for creating and executing requests, and the ability to organize requests into collections for efficient management and sharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman presents a user-friendly interface, yet beginners may find its learning curve challenging. Users have encountered occasional performance issues with the desktop version, notably with large collections or complex requests, causing slow response times and memory concerns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman's solutions streamline the API development process, improve collaboration and communication among team members, and ensure the reliability and performance of APIs. These benefits ultimately lead to faster development cycles, higher-quality APIs, and better user experiences for developers and end-users alike.
API Testing Made Simple and Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
A user-friendly interface that simplifies testing APIs efficiently. Clean UI, easy to use which makes the life of testing APIs easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve, initially, when I started using Postman I found myself looking into the documentation more than what I could think of. Also, I get too many notifications, which I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman has solved so many problems that I used to face before adopting.
Like, for the API testing, I used to use command line tools like curl and wget. Now with Postman, with its simple interface, I can easily send requests, get responses, and make sure that everything is working fine.
Easily switching between different environments and having variables support which can be used in request headers etc., are life-saving. Being a Python backend developer, who builds the APIs too frequently, Postman makes my life easier.
Also, documenting APIs was a painful task for me, but now with Postman, I'm able to generate documentation easily.

Login using different accounts in Linux is a very bad experience. They should be managing it in much better way.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Postman is that it streamlines the process of API develeopment and testing very efficiently and smoothly, and one thing I like the most is the avalibility of this tool in vscode extension that makes developement and integration very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
one potential downside is that sometimes it lags when dealing with huge responses and mostly the user experience could have been better in postman vscode extension

Postman helps users in grouping API's into collections and then share it with team.

No support for Command line interface is present.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman enables various integrations such as Azure management API, where i can test it in Postman, before deploying to Azure.
Postman has reduced testing time of Developers. They can test their API's in Postman in backend, without waiting for UI work to be done.

What do you like best about the product?
It's really good tool for API testing, the user interface is really User-friendly. We can set up different environment and do API testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, I find each and every feature of postman really useful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While developing a API, we require a software where we can test out the API end points. Also we can share the collection of the request which is really useful and easy to share with the client.

Postman is so useful for us software developer, since while doing our system, we need to test if the system is working we can use it as our medium especially for CRUD, postman can be use test the connection to our database
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as I experience, the postman needs more improvement when it comes to appearance that's all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes there's some error even though I don't actually know what's wrong, maybe the postman might want to upgrade their application that will give some guide instead of showing the error output only.
