Best tool for Api testing
What do you like best about the product?
I realize that postman is best tool for Api testing . It has all the features required for the testing of Api's . You can save your Api's so that you can use them in future . You can also add collections which I like the most. As a Java developer I liked postman so much . Good tool , love it and I am use to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman doesn't gave update frequently like other software. It got hanged in middle of my work sometime which is annoying for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have tested many Api's in postman. I have used postman in my college days for the project and I used it in my job also. It is good tool for the Java or any other backed developer .
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are back end developer and wanna test your Api's then go for it.

A good tool to test API
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and readability of the product. It automatically saves every request you make to the API which is kind of relaxing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything looks good to me but there is always scope of improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
you can directly get the result from API and create your code and test cases accordingly. It is the best way to test API.

It is very easy to use allowing a great flow of development and testing. Totally recommended!

Options are a bit hidden and it would be great if they improve the UI a bit, for beginners maybe!

Send requests to my projects for testing. It is much better than using any browser tools.

Explore the beta version of the tab APIs, seems to be good!
Great product for requests
What do you like best about the product?
Whatever your area is, this application is a must if you deal with certain APIs or connections. Postman certainly helps me to build automated systems, connections and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application needs me to sign up which is a bit irritating. The cloud functionality is alright but it's seriously frustrating to setup for other people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generally automating problems and creating solutions.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a very essential tool for api development in backend. You can customize any input there is to an http request such as params, auth, headers, body, etc. And at the output you can check the response body, cookies and headers. At the body you can even specify an encoding or a raw input and select from JSON, TEXT, HTML, XML even Javascript. It offers a lot of flexibility. You can develop your own workspace or share with a team which all development needs today. I am not sure if it's only a mac feature, but I really like returning back to the sessions I did not even saved on application or OS reboot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot really see anything I dislike from this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing and testing backend API. It is a really flexible tool for development and testing API, I have not tried automated test yet but there is an option to do that too.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For backend development, this is the first tool that I recommend, since you don't need to wait for the frontend to actually test your implementation. I also recommend it for testing APIs. It's free to download the app, or you can use the chrome plugin too.
Best User Friendly API Management App on Mac
What do you like best about the product?
UI is really intuitive. You can get used to it very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Last time I used, there were some problems with the syncing process between devices. It was also a little bit annoying when there is no internet available, the app was warning me a little annoying.

I test some mocked APIs on the internet. I use it to implement API calls during the development of my iOS apps.

Very Helpful for Testing API's
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Postman is their documentation. It's easy to read and written for amateurs and professionals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet. I've only been using postman for about a week to test one of my companies Api's
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company was having issues returning information for their zip codes. I was able to send a request to our API and found out what was causing the problem.

I definitely recommend giving it a try for API testing. If you do not understand how to use it, google instructions and it will take you straight to their documentation.
