Great tool for API testing
What do you like best about the product?
I use postman for every API security testing. I am not part of development but postman does everything required for both development and for security testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not most comfortable. Apart from that there isn't any thing to dislike. It is free and very good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman uses collections of api endpoints and their required parameters and headers. Using manually or even with burp suite extensions is very hectic and shows a very poor job in comparison to postman.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is the most useful tool for API testing. It helps to easily done the API testing with multiple end points. It also supports web socket testing. Postman tool has option to run series of tests. Tool also has low latency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of AI features are the major drawback faced in postman. Also each time the variables need to be changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman verify API requests and give the status codes. User can identify whether the request is valid or not.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If I haven't UI for testing then provide Json key and value and this tool provides the results on behalf of value.

What do you like best about the product?
As a tester I am able to test the APIs manually in the most effective and easy way via Postman

Sometimes it’s a but difficult to set up the environment and variables

For manual validation of application APIs Postman is very effective and can give you the code as well to automate the APIs

The best part about Postman is how easy it makes API testing and collaboration. The interface is super intuitive; even if you're not very experienced with APIs, you can quickly get the hang of it. I also like how collections and environments can be shared with team members, which helps maintain consistency across projects. It’s a massive time-saver when debugging or validating backend services
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Postman feels a bit heavy, especially on slower machines. It takes a while to load large collections, and I’ve noticed occasional lag during long working sessions. Also, some of the advanced features are locked behind the paid plans, which can be a barrier for students or indie developers trying to explore the full potential of the tool.

Postman simplifies and speeds up the entire API lifecycle. Whether I'm testing REST APIs during development or sharing collections with team members, everything becomes more efficient. It eliminates the need to write boilerplate code just to test endpoints, especially during tight deadlines. Also, it helps catch API bugs early, before they reach production.

My Experience with Postman
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a very userfriendly and effective platform which can be used even without knowing much about the platform
What do you dislike about the product?
The Web Version is not very easy to use as the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Postman to check the working of API's and it is very easy to use and does not require much setup. The UI of the platform is also very informative and easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
It best to use when anyone wnant to test or implement any API. I frequenctly use it on daily basis. The best feature is with login, user is able get the collection with cloud storage. It is very easy to use. UI is very user friendly. The implementation is easily. User can test multiple API like HTTP POST an so on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some time it is bit confusing when trying to request and get proper API response.

It helps to investigate the APIs before starting the development

I like the Postman UI and how it makes it very easy for a beginner like me to run the API calls.
I use Postman as my go to tool for all my API calls. I didn't have much experience with it but it was very easy to use and the best part is my older API calls are saved too and categorized in different workspaces. This becomes handy when I want to fetch one of them from the history when I need them the most, I am sure Postman would have it.
Also it runs so smoothly I never had any problem in slow loading of Postman.
My usage is mostly very light simple REST API Calls

What do you dislike about the product?
Personally I have not disliked anything so far in Postman but i have heard from some colleagues that once our collection grows large or we have multiple tabs open, it tends to slow down sometimes or even has been frozen at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It comes in handy for any type of REST API Testing for me.
I have been using it for Databricks API Calls mostly and it has been my saviour in terms of ease of use, time saving and smooth loading
