Simple and Faster Testing API Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a very simple, essay and faster to use to test over APIs.I most like that is configuration to set up in the bulk of our crandalls authorization so its very simple to use and developer can early to send a request to over services. It's mostly used when debugging over code to send requests and get responses through in codes.In postman is supporting most languages like JSON, XML ..etc There is lots of beautiful thing in this tool like adding collections, Authorization, Bulk Creadinils, Pre-Scripts....
What do you dislike about the product?
I am facing issues sometimes in bulk edit (Globals Enverments) the heders key or values is not updating because some time Its failed in scripts is not run properly. I faced problems with authorization also for getting end points sometimes not every time. But I am happy with this tool I Like it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working on Enterprise Advice services to create a microservice so to create a batch in the postman is plying leed role because every testing or debug to by using this tool we use to registration test also by postman even to show the response to over client we are using postman so it's very helpful for us is a very cool tool to get responses the service. I personally like that tool.

Yes, Used once then I am pretty sure you feel assumes Tool.

Greates API Testing Tool that I have ever used
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of functionality Postman offers to its users is really big and it is constantly growing. It is an API Testing tool for professionals that can be utilized in almost any case. Also, the Postman community is what I really like. You can easily get the answers of your questions and start, join discussions there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing is that it is really hard to start with Postman for the newcomers in the industry. I would recommend to create more learning resource, not only for the tool itself but also fo the general API understanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman in my daily day-to-day tasks in various projects as a QA Engineer. It is fascinating how Postman can be used differently and solve custom problems for different products in many different industries.

What do you like best about the product?
Free and easy way to call API. Allows you to set global and local variables for testing Works well, fast and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frequently Release and every time need to update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have found postman is amazing for converting Rest scripts into Powershell commands in order to automate processes that i would do regularly - this has saved hours of time

It has good UI for testing Api's, it is very easy to call endpoints and the response display format is very good to understand.
It is also easy to setup mock server and test things using postman.

It is very good for testing restfull Api's. But testing SOAP is a difficult task.

Get easy for APi design.We can save multiple connection and request. We can test RESTful and SOAP api's. We mostly use with java rest API and it's very easy to use. I think no better competitors for postman. We can test SSL request as well it's good one

Sometime launching bit slow.i don't think so anything missing in this.

We can test our real time api with sending mock data . Easy to avoid runntime conflict or errors. Yeah more productive with using this tool. Performance get increased.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman API builder is the best solution for creating and testing many types of API. Once the platform is thoroughly understood, it will ease our integration works in all aspects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a beginner this will take a considerable amount of practice to understand the platform and perform actions. Yet it is not a typical dislike but advising to spend the time it takes that's totally worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman API builder has been a lifesaver for me many times. It was the first stop for finding the root causes of integration errors.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is the tool used to conduct API tests. We can build a collection of APIs and we can easily upload them to our system. Best API tool with a comparison of other API tools. It covers all of the methods which are GET,PUT,POST,DELETE etc...also supports multiple authentications which help in the execution of scenarios and the most important thing is it supports all the operating systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
mmm... I am using postman tools since more than 4 years and I guess so far I do not find any issues within the tool but I would like to highlight one thing which I have faced couple of times as per my use cases and testing I have to use multiple tabs of postman and some of the time using that multiple tabs the postman tool gets lagging and consumes system CPU more
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps in multiple ways at the Developer level as well as the QA level I used postman for Testing purposes only but it helps to find all the issues which are related to API and API testing has been done smoothly by using POSTMAN. It helps a lot when APIs and responses when it comes to integrating any third-party application.

Yes, Definitely I would suggest to all new Developers and QA person who is aligned with API integration and API testing part.

There is nothing much to dislike but the only thing i don't like is that it sometimes crashes and respond slowly for a small span.

Our team is using postman to test api endpoint without hitting them on browser with the help of postman ui.

What do you like best about the product?
A postman is a tool used for API testing. It tests the HTTP requests through which we can test different types of responses that need to be subsequently validated.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can not test SOAP API using postman and other APIs, postman only supports RESTful APIs. It has a limited testing area and also low script reusability means tester/developer have to create new test request/script over and over for each API/project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a backend developer so it helps me to test API with different request and response structures before testing from UI so it reduces work for both teams, to track requests and also it is user friendly.
