A Must Have Tool for Every API Developer and Team
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Postman is how much it simplifies API testing and collaboration. I particularly like how you can set up environment and use variables, it makes switching between dev, staging, and production effortless. Also the ability to share collections with teammates speeds up collaboration a lot. and it's easy to use newcomer can easily learn in few minutes how it works and it's smooth interface gives amazing experience. and i personally like workspace sharing feature where you can change any API Request and Param and when you save it then everyone can see that changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, it's working fine, i can't see any problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps us automate and streamline our API testing and documentation. It eliminates the need for switching between multiple tools. We can easily validate responses.

While powerful, Postman can feel heavy and slow at times, especially with large collections or many tabs open. Some advanced features, like API version control and team collaboration, are gated behind the paid plans. Additionally, setting up complex test scenarios can require scripting knowledge, which may be a learning curve for beginners.

It simplifies API testing and debugging, allowing developers to quickly send requests, inspect responses, and identify issues without writing code. Postman also addresses the need for collaboration by enabling teams to share collections, document APIs, and maintain consistent environments. Additionally, it supports automated testing and mock servers, which help validate APIs before backend implementation.

An Essential Tool for Working with APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Postman makes testing apis simple and organized. I like that I can quickly set up requests view responses, and save them into collections for future use. The interface is clean and beginner friendly but it also offers powerful features for advanced user.Is is easy to use also use interface very smootm. Now i Use it almost daily for api testing, troubleshooting, and crating documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven't run into any problems yes , it's been working for everything i have needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman it allows me to test APIs quickly, document endpoint clearly , and collaborate easily with teammates.

I haven't used workflow setup so that is the part I dont like that much

It saves time, we can test frontend using the APIs, but if any APIs are having issues, then Postman help us to identify the root cause

It can feel a bit hectic when it requires manually defining all queries and variable.

Postman makes it very easy to test & manage API calls. It is very easy to organize every project in one single platform.

The authentication can sometimes be tricky for beginners to understand.

without usinf the frontend we can check the backend apis worknig and connection,this makes easy and fast the process of checking the apis.

we can setup API collections with different environments, and it is beneficial and time-saving tool.

I haven't tried Flows till now, so for me it is the least useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
in my team we setup Postman and provide the access to the frontend team to use it and we also provide it to QA team so that they can verify all the APIs before deployment.

What do you like best about the product?
Test api regression testing and pass test cases collections of postman and most importantly recursion testing

No dislike until now I have found using since 3 years

Test api directly testers don't need to pull the developers code to test developer will deploy and tester will test here
Best Platform used for Building, Testing, and Managing APIs
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is Easy to use, generally create Node.js + Express API's, and test on Postman.

currently I'm not facing any problem white using postman. But still in future if i feel i definitely tell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my early days as an application developer, my first company asked me to integrate and test Google Map API and Auth API. At that time I didn't know how to integrate or test it, so my mentor asked me to use Postman platform to test the API. Since then I realized that Postman is very important in every company, whether it is a startup or B2B or B2C. Today, in my new company "Arka Digital Solutions", I work as a mobile application developer and integrate and develop backend using Node.js and Express, and also test, manage and store on Postman. I don't think any backend developer would be able to create API without Postman or a platform like Postman.
Easy to use even for Non Techie users like me
What do you like best about the product?
I was new to API documentation and was proposed to write a document. I had to see the API in Postman so I watched video of Postman on Youtube to get better understand. I watched the video and simultaneously worked on the Postman to my surprise it was easy to understand it. So I would say user friendly interface even the functions are simple to remember and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every time there is an update in the tool, I don't understand why the existing features get affected and function slow down hence delaying in load and working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am documenting APIs. In my initial days I used to request developers to explain me how each endpoint worked, what parameters were needed and what kind of responses to expect, etc. As I was new so I had very less idea regarding the same. But now gradually I am able to understand. Once when I was working on a user authentication API, the dev team gave me the endpoint, but didn't properly explain the error case. So, I tired it myself by logging in with wrong credentials, missing fields and expired tokens. Surprisingly, I saw the exact error messages and status codes, which I carefully read and then added to the documentation. Doing so saved my time and avoided back-and-forth talk with the developers.
