Postman A Perfect API calling Platform
What do you like best about the product?
We can easily test REST API in postman. We can set the environment for collection. Using the environment we can easily manage authentication and global variables.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is limited to a single developer if we need to contribute to the same project then need to purchase a paid plan. The autosave function not working. Sometimes we lost data which we not saved by clicking the "Save" Button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using postman we can easily test and check any REST API. This is the best option to test REST API. It really solved API sharing and testing problems. Using postman a developer can same many times.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the collections features for bundling the APIs, which helps in creating APIs and keeping it organized for easy access. It has a very good UI and user-friendly user interface and is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The developers should come up with a lighter version of itself having features which are most used so that it can be used in fewer memory systems freely. It is free, so there is nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman is solving the basic problem of API development and testing and easy access of our API collections. Also it is solving problems faced while working in a team by providing various features.

Postman is an excellent software to debug API endpoints. The best part is that you can import web calls by pasting raw text or uploading a file.

Maintaining collections in Postman is sometimes painful

Testing APIs Responses, can check the response by passing the auth headers and raw body as well

What do you like best about the product?
Best tool to Create perform and test API operations. Very easy to Use and Play with API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reusability of scripts is not supported, For every project new scripts needs to be prepared which increases the time complexity and amount of re-work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With best and simplest UI , it allows easy creating understanding and playing around that APIs , It provides good collaboration in API building.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a beautiful app that features a unique UI that has been easy to use for developers from the beginning. The most important feature is the ability to modify header information through the interface. It assists in testing API security.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman seriously lacks testing or managing SOAP or other API stacks. While REST API support is awesome, support for other stacks is lacking. It also doesn't allow users to reuse the requests or collections with multiple projects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps in testing API while development. It allows creating collections for specific projects or routes with unique names. Postman assists in testing API while developing it in parallel.

What do you like best about the product?
Post man is the best tool for debugging API's locally. I personally use for my development related works. It has collection where we can store lots of request which can be resued. As its an Application its has many useful features which makes our work easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Post man is great for REST API, where as for SOAP API's it a bit inefficient. Reusing prewritten scripts or adding more request is a bit difficult., that is it has lower script reuasability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Post man help me in debugging REST API's which is being developed. It has collection features where we can resuse the requests and headers which benefiting me for faster debugging and time saving.
Best software for API testing and automation
What do you like best about the product?
For me the best thing about Postman is the capability to generate code for API requests in different programming languages like Python requests, cURL etc.
Also, Postman UI makes it extremely easy to implement the business logic very comfortably.
Even the ability to import and export collections is just a boon for us developers.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Postman is great for RESTful APIs but not well designed for SOAP APIs.
2. It could have been better if we could use it like a wrapper code just like Flasgger package have for SwaggerUI in python.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me Postman is heavily used in testing Flask REST APIs. We have to build several APIs on daily basis and Postman has been really helpful in testing them out before deploying it in production. Even after deploying it we again have a round of tests that happen either through cURL requests or Postman

Postman is free to use, with the help of postman I can easily test API and web services also provided good features for testing, manual and automated testing

It's a highly loaded application, consuming more memory.

Postman is very comfortable with developing APIs, and testing many internal and external APIs.
Best API Development Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I am using this Postman for testing processes. It has a great and easily understandable UI. It loads APIs in a very easy manner, we just have to put the URL and click on send, it doesn't require any security token as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike in this Postman is its desktop version which is quite heavy and it is less appropriate whenever you need to automate tests that include database verification or depend on data from databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Postman in my testing processes and it helps me to check the input & outputs of API's. Even in Postman, all information is stored in an orginsed way. It ensures safe automation and also guarantees no code break.
