Perfect Application to test APIs!
What do you like best about the product?
Postman Application has a great User Interface and has many options to test the API for the developers. It allows me to obtain major charecteristics and is simple to understand for beginners!
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets laggy when it is opened with multiple tables as it consumes a lot of RAM of the workstation. It can be improved with further software updates. It does not allow to test SOAP APIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I am working with a company where I extensively need to make APIs for the business intelligence platform and then use them for my purpose. Postman helps in understanding my APIs before integrating to a third-party application.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using this for a year. It has best UI and user friendly. It's very easy to use even for a beginner's. It is very needful for documentation purpose and testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It excellently works, but when we open multiple tabs I feel like it's lagging sometimes and it may consume more RAM. I feel like postman development team should focus on it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its easy to use and easy to understand even for beginners. There are lot of features in this for developers, and testers, and it's free:)

What do you like best about the product?
It's an API testing tool that's easy to use, understand, and rely on. It's an excellent tool for anyone working on API development and testing. It is one of the top tools because of the user interface. API documentation and management are simple to accomplish. It is beneficial to test a large number of APIs before integrating them into the main system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislikes. This tool is made precisely for the API testing job and serves the purpose. I personally haven't ran into any issues while using postman.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman to test APIs that I write, and it assists me in properly testing the API with multiple inputs and a variety of possible outputs. It aids in the thorough testing of a large number of APIs prior to their integration with the core system.

There are minimal testing environments features available in postman. This can cause an effect if the configurations changes with time as the complete migration cannot be done at the instance

Collect and organize endpoint examples. Great way to share environments. Easy to document and show examples of results right in the tool you're using.

Some of the things were hidden. Knowing there are docs behind the scenes makes it easy, but if you're new to it, you may not know to look.

Single place to create, test, and share endpoint examples.

Really understand the requirements of your project, and look through the tool's documentation. It does a lot more than meets the eye.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman offers easy integration and API testing interface in which we can quickly test the GET, PUT, PATCH, POST, and many other requests with a single click. New users can quickly learn using Postman.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman has almost all the facilities that API testers could achieve, but it would be better if IDE also integrated with it to create APIs. It would be awesome if API creation and testing would be in the same place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With postman, I am solving API-related problems. Creating APIs can be done with the help of backend programming languages quickly but testing them is always tricky as browser URL only supports GET requests. To solve this, Postman comes to the rescue by providing a clean interface. Postman also supports API documentation and API sharing services in simple clicks.

It is a very popular API testing software among users with very amazing built-in functions and a good User Interface with minimal hassle. It is indeed the best one among all other API testing software which in itself is the best part.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is haevy application and consumes good amount of memory and takes sometime to get load when you open it after closing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every developer who works on creating APIs swears by it as it has amazing functionality and user support, and other management tools to test and create a collection of all your APIs and keep them secure. Despite handling complex APIs, it does not lag and provides smooth functionality.

- Neat & clean UI makes it a lot easier even for new users to work with postman at first
- Its workspace feature makes a lot easier to organize your API collections
- Environment variables are a cool feature they have & also, you get sample request code in almost any popular programming language. It makes developer life more effortless.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Sometimes, I face postman app open issue on my MacBook air to do work again, I have to restart my laptop.
- If I don't want the tab to be there and if I try to remove it, It just pops up you each time, are you sure you want to remove this request that can be handled gracefully
- I think with the free plan, users should get more member collaboration and requests numbers

- I usually make lots of APIs for testing these APIs I generally use postman as my first tool.

I have been using Postman for more than one year and would like to tell few things I like most:

- You can create environment to put all the api test link for a particular project
- Can apply various authentication type with link
- Covers all methods(POST, GET, PUT, DELETE etc)
- Cloud save which helps in syncing all the data.

What do you dislike about the product?
When I started using it for the first time, even though its UI is excellent but due to so many many buttons and options provided on the same screen, it was a little confusing at first. As I am using it in Ubuntu, there is a bug currently regarding the cursor, which gets tiny on hovering on the windows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a must for backend, and full-stack developers and whomever I know are all using it for testing servers or APIs. It's even beneficial for frontend developers also as I used it often while creating frontend with React.js whenever I encountered any issue with server connection as a check. I am provided with a ton of feature with this application for free which I very much appreciate and love.
