What do you like best about the product?
We are using the Postman tool to test and modify API. It has a good UI and is easy to operate and understand. It is also a cloud-based system that makes it fast and easy to access. We do have option to import our API directly to Postman app. We can also create sample servers to test our API this helps us a lot in previewing API.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be improved a bit. Report generation could have been made easy. other than that no issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use Postman to customize APIs and test our APIs before deployment.

How easy it is to set global variables and the visualization options.

It can be a bit tricky to keep a collection up to date across the whole team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman makes it simple for everyone on the team to make sure an API we've built is working correctly and visualize how the data is structured when it comes time for implementation.

What do you like best about the product?
We can test REST API using the Postman plugin available in chrome, or we can download stand alone application as well for API testing. It provides very nice and clean interface. We can see response in varius forms and exports API code in many langauges. It supports varous HTTP status code for API testing which is very usefull in debugging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the response is prolonged, or it gets stuck; that is why it is tough to see whether it is a problem with API, which we are testing, or the Postman interface itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are doing REST API testing using Postman as HTTP Client. It is straightforward to operate with changing parameters to Test API usability, security, and performance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it provides an excellent interface for REST API testing. You easily test REST API using Postman, and its enterprise cost is also very competent.

It allows you to quickly test API calls without writing any code. You can also automate API calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little expensive per team member to have a shared workspace with Postman

I have saved a ton of time in troubleshooting API issues and validating access to APIs with Postman

We can create different collections for different APIs and set an additional environment variable which saves our time.

Some time it hangs your laptop if you use postman continuously

What do you like best about the product?
The UI used to configure API requests is detailed and intuitive. Additionally, being able to visualize results in a human-readable format simplifies data extraction.

Understanding how to bake in authentication to requests can be confusing.

We are testing the Django API Endpoints we implement and gathering data from other technologies our software solutions use.

Postman allows us to test and verify our APIs easily. It also stores the data so that we can check that URL again. It also has collection APIs.

As of now, I face nothing to dislike postman.

I am building REST APIs, and it is very easy to test those APIs with the postman. Also I integrated Whatsapp API easily in postman.

User-friendly application. It can create a custom collection for API testing. It helps to develop different workspace creation, provide sample templates for testing, environment friendly.

The application does not support SOAP API.
