Best http client
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very intuitive tool that has an easy to use UI. It has all the options to perform multiple http requests and has many integrations

It could use a cloud bashed sharing platform to help collaboration amongst teammates

- the interface looks old and its difficul to locate the features.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface and preview options are great, you can save all of your API calls and structures so that you can easily go back and re-test or make adjustments. It's really a must-have for a developer.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing to dislike about this software, it is quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to organize an entire API that I am building allows me to easily test and develop every facet of the programming interface.
Best tool for API testing by reducing the development time
What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy to send request to the API's by changing the parameters as we expect. And the user friendly interfaces and the output window makes it really fast identification of problems with end points and can do fast development changes. Also it support almost all the available formats for sending the requests like json, xml, text etc. Furthermore really easy to work with token based authorized end points. Overall it reduce the development time half when we are doing backend developments.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to getting familiar with tool is taking little bit time as it has lots of features. So that learning curve is little bit high. It takes some times to get familiar with options like work with teams etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Almost all backend API based response problems I identified with Postman and it is giving best support to test API's . Also i use it with my team mates to work as group and they can use my requests as well with this tool.
Best API Tool for Development and Testing of Any Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I have used every single time to test the integration of two Systems. It also provides you the back of all the projects which you have worked. Postman is the best tool for the Project Development of Web Sites. This was the best part I liked about the Postman. It also syncs data with the email account which was the best feature of Postman
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to point out the Postman disadvantage. It has improved day by day. They have notified of the latest updates which were better than any REST Client API Tester.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yes, It has solved many problems. There was a scenario where I want to test the Production API is consuming the Rest Service which made possible through the POSTMAN Application. There was an advantage of the backup which I tested for the Develop Environment which helped me to improve the API Knowledge. There was a various method for consuming Rest Services.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, I would like to recommend for every organization to have an API Tool to debug the issue and provide effective services for various clients. It also provides you the backup and workspaces for the team Management which will provide visibility and communicate with all the TeamMates.
Easy to check Api and data structure
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use, specially add collection export collection. I can easily check my Api responce with raw data. Also I can chech push notification (Firebase) , no need to go to Firebase console
What do you dislike about the product?
I have faced a problem. One of my url has space but it was show data but in app I could not found data.Then I found the space by put they url(GET call) into chrome browser and understand what was wrong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can send fcm push notifications easily , don't need to access firebase account ( Wep Api key needed)

I use post man so that I can check my Api response and integrat it into my iOS Mobile application

What do you like best about the product?
The user friendly UI with lots of feature. Specially to export the output in many languages along with curl

Nothing as of now, it can be more user friendly

Postman makes working with APIs easy! Giving you the data output, the status of the request, and the ability to save workspaces with pre-filled attributes is great.

Honestly there's not much about Postman I don't like.

It's helped me troubleshoot a lot of issues at the API level before putting API calls into an application.

Simple, user-friendly and allows team workspace to share and compile the data

Mass-updates to marketo forms, fetching activities data,posting the updates to marketo

Yes I would definitely recommend this product
Shorter development times with postman
What do you like best about the product?
It is easier to focus on development when you already have a series of tests that can be run directly in a program and that can be reusable again and again changing at most the IP of the test server and that can catch common mistakes that are done by me or my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know, it does its job and is free, they also offer a paid tier but for my use cases, it's not really needed so I don't plan to ask my manager for a copy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After I'm done with webpage changes I go to postman to make sure I didn't break any of the queries of the website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I use Postman mainly as a tester so my use case may vary from yours but as a tester, it is always great to have it connected to a repository where you can call all the tests that you need to run and Postman makes that really easy.
