Lightweight, simple to use platform for API calls
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is my go-to when I want to quickly test an API without having to go through a cumbersome web framework. I like how the params, headers and body are all specified in separate tabs so that you won't get them confused. The ability to view call history is also really nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to get used to for novice web developers as it requires good knowledge of how HTTP requests and responses work. Has a lot of advanced settings and options that can quickly get confusing. Lacks a "beginner" UI for just the most simple functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to test APIs, both local and remote, when developing applications at work. This can greatly help with debugging.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive, easy to use. Even the free version provides numerous tools for development, debugging, testing, and monitoring APIs, all with the ability to collaborate with team members. It is possible to manage API versioning. Extremely useful is the ability to test in multiple environments simply by passing multiple addresses. Also very useful is the learning section directly integrated into the application's launchpad. Various lessons and tutorials are available to quickly learn how to use the software. The UI is really comfortable thanks to the implementation of the dark theme. Also very useful is the history to recall, having at hand, what was previously implemented.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the cost of the product is not excessively high, some very useful features are only available in the paid version. Comparing with other similar software, these are offered for free.
The authentication phase can sometimes be confusing.
From a performance standpoint, it suffers from latency when the amount of data requested is very high and also when there are numerous open tabs.
Overall, Postman allows us to develop and operate productively.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Postman intensively to monitor what is exposed by our website. The data must comply with certain standards for proper management by third-party software. The ability to work in a team allows us to collaborate and efficiently identify any anomalies in API development.

Postman: Best tool to quickly testing the REST APIs
What do you like best about the product?
With the help of Postman, I can execute my REST API (even in any formate of response such as HTML, JSON, JavaScript etc) efficiently. Another good thing here in Postman is that I can simultaneously work on many different projects and different them by grouping pannel. It is the most convenient tool to use, As it comes also as a Google Chrome browser extension which is best because I don't have to install the whole setup file. Also, You can also set up your parameter, heady and body content for testing purpose in any API. which is really a need for a thorough the testing framework.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, in postman, syncing is less trustful, due to the low network bandwidth and a number of developers make changes in same API at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman is my primary tool to test the request and response structure of any API that is developed by the Database Programmer. Also, with the help of this, I do make sure that all API is working correctly and giving proper response when used with actual code communication.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Postman is a tool to test REST API in an easy way; learning curve here is very steep. Also, it is free of cost. So, I definitely recommend it to try once.

It was good at testing, that is my controller methods are giving appropriate responses or not

It doesn't show you when the application is not yet started apart from that nothing for dislike

A postman is a tool that is used by developers and testers for API Management and Testing Purpose.
It is a very cost-effective tool. It supports all HTTP calls. One can easily monitor the performance of API or Webservices using Postman.

It required training for using it. Sometimes API does not get synchronized with it.

What do you like best about the product?
With Postman, working with colleagues is simple and the GUI is very clear. It will allow you to request formation conveniently from simple GETs, POSTS, or PUTs. It offers a free edition that can be used to check the wellbeing of your system at the end of your development process. Besides, Postman handles transparent processes, so from leadership to manager level, we are all able to see what's happening. Also, the test generator has a lot of incredibly strong features, some of them allow us to save parameter outcomes from an application, which is amazing. Besides, it is so simple I have been able to tell people and in semi-technical roles how and when to use it so they can know how APIs operate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman does not have a good way to track the test cases, something I wish could improve soon. I have nothing negative left to say about this amazing software.

We use Postman in the IT department for API monitoring, creation, and automation. We also use it to design demands and add or eliminate variables quickly and effortlessly and to check and customize the curl application on the API endpoint.

Testing apis with multiple data through using data files is very easy. Setting about environment configurations, pre-test and post -test scripts is easy to add and configure. Allows data validation through scripting.

Best User friendly app for quick API Testing
What do you like best about the product?
UI is simple.Easy to create all type of requests. API tests can be run via CI/CD. Supports npm.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes app becomes slow for a short period which requires it to close it down and restart it

API Testing of end points defined on azure portal. Supports Oauth 2.0 token, which is implements in our azure api end points

I would recommend this app to anyone who is looking to test api's. It is very easy to start with. Later we can also automate our api tests using Postman + Newman and supports reporitng as well

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and readability of the product. It automatically saves every request you make to the API which is kind of relaxing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything looks good to me but there is always scope of improvement.

you can directly get the result from API and create your code and test cases accordingly. It is the best way to test API.
