API Testing is Easy with Postman
What do you like best about the product?
I really like this application because it makes API Testing easier. To test an API you need something flexible to send the requests and get the response or test your form with POST request So here is Postman where you can test Many request like:- GET, POST, PATCH, PUT etc. In Postman you can save your request but login is required, you can create documentation for your API's, you can create mock servers easily. It is more flexible then anything i loved this application.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the performance of Postman in my Machine it takes lots of time to popup, they have to improve its performance because in low grade machine you can not even open it, it makes your system hang. That is annoying sometimes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I usually create API's for mobile development, so every time i have to test from my side to give Restful API's so i uses Postman to give a shot on each and every requests to make my job done easily.

Recommended for all of the developers to use it and test your API's without any lags :)

it is the best software for APIS hitting and check the data with out using data base. In the software gives more features to the user . postman provides lot of functionalities to the user. its look and field is very good. we can check the test cases also from using postman. we can run multiple tabs at a time using postman. we can create new window

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about working with postman is that when developing an API, you can easily test the requests you develop and share with the members of the development team, as well as adding examples of the requests for teams that are working in another part of the project, such as a web page or mobile application that will consume the API services accelerating the development process. It also has many features to test your API services such as the ability to chain requests and test response data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something that I really dislike about Postman is the way in which you have to send the arrays in the requests, if you have to send a very large array you will have to enter the elements of the same one by one in the form of a list by hand and things They get worse with multi-level arrays.
Sometimes my projects do not synchronize when I log in to other devices and something that I also dislike are the few interface customization options.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Postman it has been possible to detect errors in the structure of the requests and problems with the response data before releasing the final versions of the product.
We have also been able to replicate requests from third parties to learn how other companies do.

For those who use Postman on remote devices it is good to add examples to your requests and document as best as possible to have a good understanding between the different parts of the team.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman has the most important test methods that are POST, GET, VIEW, LOCK, UNLOCK and many more. The best thing is that it allows to store data of tests carried out. In addition, it has a simple user interface, so it is not necessary to be an advanced user to carry out a test. I also like to be able to customize the interface and change its color.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that Postman eliminates the API tests, because it is very easy to forget the URLs or what was requested, besides the body code. The history of the tests should always be maintained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very easy to test my APIs developed in PHP to verify its correct functioning. I did not need technical knowledge to learn how to use this program, because the learning curve is very short. In addition, it also allows me to test APIs created in Java.

I recommend the use of Postman for the development of API. It is a powerful tool and it will be very easy to use or learn to use. In addition, there is a lot of online documentation to guide you in your tests or developments.

What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly interface is best. It helps developers a lot while designing APIs. It is very easy to use. And factor of accuracy is above all. It's easy to download even in Linux.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't found many downsides of postman till now. Only the major problem I faced it get hang and slow easily. And this problem specially increases in Linux environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have designed many API with help of postman. It's too easy to use we donot have to worry about client side code. Postman takes care of everything that we have to send in requests. And best part it's user friendly interface.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate being able to test my APIs with ease and speed. Postman accepts the most common request methods and generates a response that apart from the usual Raw format, has the option to appear in a Pretty format, one more intelligible for the user.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inside a Postman request I can build Headers or Keys that I may want to use in a different request, but Postman does not allow to copy these internal structures, forcing me to duplicate the whole request, move it to another folder, and then modify it accordingly, which all seems unnecessarily complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My primary goal has been testing the services of my own APIs and adjusting the front end of our web pages accordingly.
Postman also allows working on a project simultaneously with my colleagues and keeping track of versions through its file sharing feature.

What I like most about Postman is that I can do API tests quickly and with the functionalities that this application has, I can test all the different methods that can enter the URL and document my application in an orderly and easy way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Potman has no negative points Practically is a perfect tool for what is used the only thing can be shown in the English language and for users who speak other languages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the benefits that most brings me is that I can place the test and production environments at the same time and try with the same variables to see the answers in various environments. This makes the test time much faster and saves an amount of incredible time

that they keep improving every time they release new versions and continue working as they have been doing and if they can turn the tool into a multilanguage it would be excellent ...
Efficient tool for api testing
What do you like best about the product?
This tool gives you the ease of api testing , allow you to create test suite and add multiple test cases scenario along with setting test script to define pass and fail criteria. Also , it has data driven feature to call with multiple test data

The plugin for google chrome not working correctly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As QA tester , it has allowed me to monitor api request performance after hours by scheduling automatic requests

Postman is a good tool for testing API's. Easy to create test suites and allows you to store data from previous test cases. And by the way it's free.

It should be able to check the records and compare them to regression testing.
