Essential Tool for API Testing and Team Collaboration

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Postman's ecosystem amazing for an organization because it allows easy access to other team's app endpoints and produces the desired results. Testing a particular API is easy, and I like how I can share curls for easy testing with others, including sharing whole collections. It integrates well with development tools like Cursor and is adaptable for small to large organization-based dev teams. The initial setup of Postman was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have an AI integration in Postman in the future. AI could guide me on creating Postman APIs, and it would be great if it could work with Chrome so I can get API clones while using API-based websites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman for testing APIs easily, sharing collections and curls with my team, and its ecosystem is fantastic for integrating with other dev tools across all sizes of organizations.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Postman to be an essential tool that seamlessly fits into my workflow whether I'm working on small side projects or testing APIs for larger systems. It's incredibly approachable; you can send your first request within minutes even if you're new to APIs, and it also has the depth for experienced developers to perform advanced tasks. Postman makes handling HTTP requests like GET, PUT, POST, PATCH, and DELETE easy and efficient. I appreciate the friendly working environment and the helpful APIs, as well as the powerful pre-request scripts and tests that allow me to automate token generation, dynamically modify headers, and write assertions to validate responses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could be improved, and running tutorials could be provided to make life easier for newbies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps me handle HTTP requests simply and responsively, making complex tasks like automating token generation and modifying headers easy. It creates a friendly working environment with quick, helpful APIs, fitting naturally into both small and large projects.

Reliable and Efficient Tool for API Development and Testing

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Postman helps in testing the APIs during the course of development. This helps in analyzing the responses as well as authentication processes before features are put into production. Collections assist in arranging endpoints for various projects or environments. Workspaces enable collaboration between various developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large collections need to have a good structure to maintain a manageable and team-ready system. Some features related to collaboration and monitoring are only available to premium users. Performance degradation is possible when handling a large number of request interactions and environments. The system interface might be steep for new team members to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman provides a solution to manually test APIs when developing and integrating them. It assists in checking if the endpoints, headers, or responses are accurate before deployment. This eliminates errors and a misunderstanding between the backend and frontend teams. Repetitive testing when developing is time-saving. Due to this, API integrations become more predictable.

Effortless API Testing with Excellent Documentation

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I generally use Postman for testing APIs, and I really like the documentation feature because it helps document APIs with details like response codes and request payloads. This feature is very useful for managing a team as it provides an overview of APIs and backend application issues. The UI is also a standout for me since it's made with user feedback in mind, making it easy to understand and use. The initial setup of Postman is really easy and straightforward, requiring no complex configurations, which I find perfect and without complexity.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now I don't have any negative views on Postman ... It always worked as expected and delivers the outcomes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman to test and document my APIs efficiently, ensuring they work properly before deployment. The easy-to-use UI and documentation features help me manage my team's API tasks, reducing errors and streamlining communication.

Essential Tool for API Testing with Seamless Syncing

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Postman for a few years now, mainly for API testing as a developer. What I really like about Postman is the environment variable management—that's really great. It saves me from having to steadily write the authorization token or the link I've been using, which reduces a lot of work. Another thing I appreciate is the synchronization between devices. I can work on APIs in the office and then continue at home without losing progress, as everything is synced. This feature solves the problem of having to rewrite API endpoints, which is a big relief. Additionally, the separation of workspaces in Postman is really beneficial because it allows me to keep APIs related to a particular project organized in one place and prevents any mix-up with environment variables from other workspaces.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm particularly picky about the interface I'm using. The Postman web browser session is kinda buggy and doesn't work as well as the Postman desktop does. Also, the updates on Windows and Linux machines could be quicker. It'd be great if they offered more customization options for themes and layout, like tweaking the appearance or background color.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman for API testing, understanding response structures, and providing proper payloads. It's essential for my development work. I appreciate its environment variable management and syncing across devices, which reduces workload and ensures API requests are accessible anywhere.

The initial setup was super easy; you just set up the global variables for your project and then just call them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It quickly tests my APIs instead of doing it manually using curl or the frontend, and it allows me to quickly build requests with a developer-friendly interface.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Testing APIs is straightforward, allowing us to quickly understand the response structure. It also assists in testing our own API by enabling us to create, export, and import our Postman collections of endpoints.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really enjoy using Postman, but I think it would be even better if there were more comprehensive documentation, especially for features like pre-request scripts and similar functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool helps save time when testing APIs and makes it easier to identify the response payload structure for the APIs we use.

Indispensable for API Development, Needs Better Versioning

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Postman to design, test, and validate APIs during development and integration work. It helps solve the problem of testing backend services without needing a fully built frontend or complex scripts. I like that I can independently use it to validate my backend services by sending API requests and getting the response. I really value how user-friendly the interface is, allowing me to quickly build and modify requests without writing boilerplate code, and this feature makes experimentation and troubleshooting much faster. Also, the initial setup of Postman was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Collaboration and version control is difficult. I'd like to see Postman provide git-like version control.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman to design, test, and validate APIs during development. It solves the problem of testing backend services without needing a complete frontend. It enables independent API requests and repetitive testing, making experimentation and troubleshooting faster with a user-friendly interface.
