Sometimes, when I use the AI option, it makes me feel great to learn
What do you dislike about the product?
I think having a draft option available before saving any endpoints would be really helpful, as it would allow us to do much more with the tool.

I find Postman very expressive and easy to test REST APIs with. It's an open-source platform that is valuable for software developers like me, as we can use it effectively without the need for Chrome extensions. The initial setup of Postman is very easy, allowing us to quickly detect bugs and errors. I appreciate having a dedicated tool just for testing REST APIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit tough to log in and sign up for the first time. Sometimes it may take five to ten minutes, which is a bit more challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman makes testing REST APIs easy and expressive, as it handles HTTP methods like GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE without errors like those in Google Chrome. It simplifies detecting bugs and errors, eliminating the need for Chrome extensions.

Efficient API Testing with Powerful Automation and Helpful AI

  • December 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a widely used HTTP client for testing web server APIs. I really appreciate its ability to run pre-request and post-response test scripts, which makes testing much more efficient. The AI chatbot is also helpful for exploring features, and the environment setting feature is great for handling repetitive configurations. By creating environment variables, I can easily manage different setups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The login does not persist across multiple systems with a single account. For example, if I log in on my laptop A and then log in on laptop B, laptop A gets logged out and prompts me to log in again. This reduces the user experience, especially when there are times I need to access the same account on more than one device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool makes writing API documentation and conducting API testing much smoother and easier.

Effortless API Testing for Production Readiness

  • December 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a core tool used in my professional work environment for API development, testing, and validation. I use it daily to design and test REST APIs by creating collections, sending HTTP requests (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), validating responses, and managing environment variables for different stages such as development, staging, and production. Features like collections, pre-request scripts, test scripts, and automated collection runs help streamline API testing and improve collaboration between backend, frontend, and QA teams..
What do you dislike about the product?
As projects grow, managing large collections and environments can become complex and require careful organization. Some advanced collaboration and monitoring features are locked behind paid plans, which may not suit smaller teams. Additionally, Postman can feel resource-heavy when running extensive automated tests or working with very large collections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman solves the problem of efficiently developing, testing, and validating APIs in a centralized platform. In my work setting, it reduces debugging time, ensures API consistency, and allows teams to catch issues early before deployment. The ability to share collections, document APIs, and automate tests improves collaboration, speeds up development cycles, and leads to more reliable integrations across services.

Intuitive API Testing with Robust Features, Minor Room for Improvement

  • December 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Postman excels in ease of use, enabling developers to rapidly create, test, and debug API requests through its clean and intuitive interface. The implementation process is straightforward, so you can begin testing APIs almost right away without any complicated setup. Its feature set is extensive, including API collections, environments, testing scripts, mock servers, monitors, and documentation. For backend and full-stack developers, Postman is used frequently, as it integrates seamlessly into daily API development and debugging routines.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the main drawbacks of Postman is that many essential features are restricted in the free version. Collaboration tools, monitors, mock servers, usage limits, and automation options are mostly locked behind paid plans, which limits their value for teams. Customer support is also limited for users on the free and lower-tier plans. As projects grow, managing large collections and workspaces can become less efficient, and performance may sometimes lag. Additionally, the price increase required to access key team features can feel quite steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman solves the problem of building, testing, and validating APIs efficiently. It provides a centralized platform to send requests, test responses, automate API checks, and share API documentation. This helps teams catch issues early, improve API reliability, and streamline collaboration between frontend, backend, and QA teams.

The ability to easily share my workspace and requests adds even more convenience. Getting started was straightforward—just a simple sign-up and I was ready to begin.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product could benefit from additional AI features, such as suggestions for improving APIs and implementing faster methods.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman to test APIs and sockets, which allows me to work without needing to build a frontend. I appreciate how it enables me to convert API requests into code and share those requests with others effortlessly.
