What do you like best about the product?
Postman is the first choice whenever we want to test our API endpoints. We can't think of a day when we have not used Postman in our everyday work. Postman's user-friendly UI makes the platform very easy to use for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman is already doing really well but here are some things they can improve is:
- Debug option can be improved to visualize debugging better.
- Managing too many collections can be a headache sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted a tool that can be used to test the APIs and make the required updates in APIs whenever needed. Postman helps us to manage and test our APIs in best possible way.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. The ability to export the collections and share them with the different teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Noting really. Could not find any cons here. Being a free-to-use product, it gives a lot of benefits that overcome the very infrequent choppiness of the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to test out the new APIs being created for my product. Free-to-use, easy-to-use. Makes me more productive and is very intuitive.

Amazing API tool

  • February 19, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the best API tools I have used so far because it offers a clean UI that anyone can understand. Also, we can have folders for different projects to keep things organised. Moreover, we can share our work with teammates using the same workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only problem I face with postman is it takes a lot of memory, making the application slow, which is annoying. Apart from that, Postman is one of the best API tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's really helpful for building, testing and documenting our API.

What do you like best about the product?
The Postman helps the team to connect to various applications within our organisation. Every API of our application works differently, and the Postman application's features help connect with them easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to pick negative points for this product; I haven't faced any issues with this product, and the performance of the product is brilliant. May be I will update here when I find any drawbacks of this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In some cases, we need to integrate the API code into our python script, but postman gives us the flexibility to test the API and get the python code for the same, which can be reused later!

What do you like best about the product?
This is the universal application for testing APIs and web-services.
Easy to setup and use, work both on MACos and Windows, free license is enough for testing purposes.

It could be difficult when one team work with one collection. Some service could be deleted occasionally and can't be restored - it could be a problem. But in general everything is good.

Testing new API
Improve and redevelop existing ones

Postman is one of the best tool to develop and test APIs

  • January 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is available both offline and online, which makes testing easy. We can share the workspace using postman's collection, which is entirely collaborative and helpful for large-scale organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no such dislikes about the postman, but sometimes, working with HTTPS APIs, certificate validity does not work and makes it challenging to test for local APIs. UI can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Postman for API testing and implementation on production and maintaining documentation of APIs. Postman is very helpful for the collaborative development of API.

The most versatile and powerful tool when working with APIs.

  • December 30, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We use this tool at several different stages within the SDLC. Very easy to re-use APIs built by the development team, these can be passed to QA department where the tester can utilize it as a base to perform different functional and performance tests. Once these stages are passed and API is in production, we leverage the previously built API to facilitate the creation of a Synthetic Monitor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Concurrent API test can't be executed and there's no straight forward way to share individual tests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman allows different teams to test APIs for different purposes without starting from scratch, the re-use of artefacts saves a lot of time.

Postman provides a simple UI with powerful features. Basic scenarios can be created even without a solid technical background.

What do you dislike about the product?
Supporting hundreds of complex scenarios can be not very convenient.
Automating API tests in some programming languages like C#, Python, JS, Java can be more flexible and maintainable
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-QA engineers without strong tech backgrounds learn postman very quickly
-Great documentation, and free courses makes Postman a great tool for beginners
-Supports complex scenarios and flows
-Ability to run in different environments
-Ability to run from the command line
