Secure file transfer solution for our cloud modernization programs
What do you like best about the product?
We used GoAnywhere MFT mainly for moving files from different on-prem healthcare systems to Azure for our cloud data platform.
We used it to pull files from systems like SAP and other EHR/EMR sources and then move those to Azure Blob and mount in Databricks
Best things i noticed,
The trigger-based jobs are useful for automating things without too much manual work
SFTP, FTPS support
Audit logs helped during compliance
Reusable templates for file transfers
Biggest help was reducing manual scripts and FTP headaches
Also useful for handling file encryption/decryption (PGP)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer depend on manual monitoring or custom FTP scripts — the automated triggers and alerts help a lot.
Overall, it reduced operational overhead and made our cloud data ingestion more streamlined and secure.
We had multiple on-prem systems sending files manually or through legacy scripts — GoAnywhere helped centralize and automate all of that.
It also helped us enforce encryption standards and maintain audit logs, which is important for HIPAA compliance.

I appreciate the efficient installation process of GoAnywhere MFT, which was quick and uncomplicated. The product facilitates seamless IP file transfer protocols, crucial for large files and important documents within our organization and with our customers. I value its robust capability for file storage and easy accessibility of files, enhancing our workflow and supporting essential operations like storing sales, accounting information, and official documentation.

I think the pricing can be a little lower.

Best Of All Time Secure Managed File Transfer.
What do you like best about the product?
GoAnywhere MFT is the best of all time secure managed file transfer and one thing I like most about it is how easy and straightforward it is to get started with. Monitoring and scheduling transfers is super easy and i like how it has saved us a lot of time and manual effort.

At first, I found the set up to be a bit complex.

I really love the ease of use of GoAnywhere MFT. It is the best of all time file transfer system you'll find in the market. The scheduler is fantastic as we use it to send files across teams on a fixed schedule.

One thing I truly like about this is how straightforward it is to pick up and use, even if you're not a technical expert. The clean interface helps me set up and manage automated file transfers without feeling overwhelmed. Scheduling transfers, keeping an eye on progress, and receiving alerts when something goes wrong, it all just works without drama. The customer support is helpful and responsive. Makes it smoother to implement.

It takes time to implement initially. Documentation can be overwhelming. Also the pricing may be high for small teams.

It is a dependable solution for anyone needing secure, automated and auditable file transfer system. With its strong focus on security, automation and usability, it helps keeps sensitive data protected while making file management more efficient and less stressful.
Makes file transfers way easier and more reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Once it is set up, it is genuinely easy to use. Scheduling, automating and monitoring transfers is super smooth and it supports multiple protocols which makes integration quite simple. It has saved us a lot of manual effort to be honest.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the setup to be confusing at first. The UI felt a bit old school. Some features aren't very intuitive and the documentation could have explained things a little better. But once you're past that, it does it's job well.

GoAnywhere MFT appears to securely transfer large volumes of files across teams and systems without any manual work. Earlier, we used to rely on scripts and ad-hoc tools which were messy and very prone to errors. This software however centralizes everything, reduces the risk of failed transfers and saves us a lot of time with its automation and features concerning scheduling.

Scripting, Cobditonal logic takes time to understand. Support can be improved

It eliminates the security risk while transfering the files. Users can automate the file tranfers based on logic it reduces manual effort.

What do you like best about the product?
I can easily schedule the workflow to upload or download files without any manual steps also the audit feature is great which provide me complete view of from where and what has been upload.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that after update they disrupts the workflow which requires the tweaking. The limited documentation regarding advance features.

Before I have to rely on manual workflow which somehow waste a lot of time and rise the security risk now everything is automatic.
Reliable automated transfer tools with strong security
What do you like best about the product?
GoAnywhere MFT makes it easy to automate secure file transfers in our internal systems. The scheduler works great, we use it to send large reports and files across teams on a fixed schedule. The logs are detailed making it easy to track both sent and received files. The dashboard offers a decent overview of system activity and the process status.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface feels outdated like something from the early dot com period. The initial workflow setup can take some time and some integration features feel slightly buggy. The core functionality is solid and it does the job well, so we can easily overlook the little drawbacks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest solve is the manual file transfers reduction. GoAnywhere replaced our previous FTP tools and manual steps with a fully automated system. The transfer processes are fully automated with encryption and role-based controls for our IT team.
My Audit Ally Against Time zone challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I love how it automates repetitive tasks like sending reports to the onshores or uploading bulk data to our cloud storage. Its been an ally really. Also the auditing and reporting tools have been invaluable for compliance checks especially since we handle HIPAA regulated data. Its these little things that have made my work easier and less stressful. The dashboard is easy to use for monitoring and the detailed audit logs help with compliance audits. I have integrated it with Outlook and SQL and they run perfectly. It allows users to schedule file transfers at specific times adjustable to different time zones.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I like the least would be that it does not allow proper tableau integration which is a major downside for data analysts specifically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a data analyst at a multinational auditing firm. I am constantly dealing with clients across the globe which makes managing time zone gaps a hassle. But Goanywhere Mft has been a lifesaver automating and scheduling secure data transfers to match everyone's crazy schedule. Which honestly saves me a bunch of time throughout the day. I love that i can set it to pull US audit logs at 2 am or send reports to Ireland at 9 it gets the job done. Overall this has been cut out so much grunt work and stress.

Web client cannot handle large downloads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were doing 15 hours of manual transfer a week - with goanywhere we used automation to pick files and drop files into sftps.
