I find the setup can be somewhat complex initially, which poses a challenge in understanding all the options available. Additionally, some advanced features require time to master. The dashboard, while clear, could benefit from faster loading times. Lastly, the integrations with a few third-party tools aren’t as smooth as I’d like, which can impede seamless usability across different systems.

The configurations involved in check point cloud guard might be complicated to the teams that lack in-depth knowledge in cloud security. Its pricing model is also a little high when compared to small organizations or organizations with constrained budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It safeguards cloud environments by preventing sophisticated cyber adversaries and unauthorized access by means of automated and consolidated security regulations. This increases transparency, compliance and enhances the overall security of the cloud network.

What do you like best about the product?
Checkpoint Cloudguard Network Security supports both public as well as private cloud. It has different type of licensing BYOL which depends upon number of cores as well as pay as you go model and it will increase the capacity as the size grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is fully dependent upon cloud like AWS and Azure for whose we donot have any access to their infra. We will be vulnerable for the issue they face in their services like last time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves our need to increase the firewall capacity during our peak season due to its pay as you go licensing model. It also auto retrieves all the object from its Cloud manager once any object is created in the cloud.

What do you like best about the product?
The most useful features about checkpoint is that how it fetches all the object from cloud when you create the datacenter. It has different licesing feature like BYOL which depends upon the number of core as well as elastic license which depend upon the volume of traffic passed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It mainly lies on cloud platform and it depends upon cloud to work without any disrution. Like the outage that happened on last time both for aws and azure, this would result in outage for other companies as well since the infra wont be accessible to anyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has improved the elasticity of our firewall as the traffic during season gets easily handled by the firewall and we do not have to worry about any drops in the packet and firewall not handling it.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Checkpoint Cloudguard is that it provides the features of firewall like efficacy against malware, ransomware and zero day attacks. It also provides seamless CI/CD automation with cloud native tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its pricing is little bit costlier and it is only as Saas based solution where the edge location is not present in most of the country which can result in increased latency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped to secure our application in without need of more capital for on prem WAF solution.

I have been using Check Point CloudGuard CNAPP for cloud security posture management and it has proven to be incredibly effective and efficient for our operations. The setup process was straightforward, thanks to the comprehensive documentation provided by Check Point, allowing us to execute it with ease. I find the visibility it offers across all our cloud assets and the identification of misconfigurations vital to our operations, as it aggregates all my cloud assets into a single dashboard. This means we do not have to log into individual accounts, which is especially beneficial because we handle multiple projects and clients. Additionally, the binding of compliance policies to specific projects and the ability to generate reports with remediations has greatly enhanced our operational security. The agentless scanning and Cloud Workload Protection features are standout capabilities that help us identify security vulnerabilities without much hassle. Furthermore, the CIEM feature is very useful in identifying critical accounts, and the software's compatibility with various cloud providers ensures seamless integration. The detailed remediation guidance guides us effectively to fix vulnerabilities step by step, aligning with our processes. It serves both compliance requirements and addresses modern cybersecurity problems, offering a complete solution for our needs.

I am concerned about data being transferred to Check Point's cloud, as it may deviate from certain cybersecurity guidelines. This creates potential conflicts because every company should ideally have their customer data stored in their own data centers to maintain control and adhere to security protocols.

Check Point CloudGuard CNAPP centralizes all cloud assets, identifies misconfigurations, binds compliance policies, enhances security posture, and integrates cloud providers efficiently, eliminating the need for multiple software and improving cybersecurity management with detailed remediation guidance.

What I like best about Check Point CloudGuard CNAPP is its unified approach to cloud security that covers the entire lifecycle from development to runtime. It provides deep visibility across multi-cloud environments, helping identify misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and compliance gap in real time. The integration of CSPM, CWPP and CIEM under a single platform ensures continuous posture management and threat prevention without the need of multiple tools.

Deployment and configuration can be a bit complex for new users. Other than that no dislikes as of now.

The way CloudGuard handles cloud traffic feels effortless. I don’t have to constantly tweak settings or chase down alerts it just works in the background, keeping everything secure.

One thing that could be improved is the initial setup it’s not exactly plug and play.
If you’re not familiar with cloud architectures or Check Point’s ecosystem, getting everything configured can take some time.
Once it’s running, it’s solid, but that onboarding curve might be steep for smaller teams or those new to cloud security.
