GUI to Active Directory
What do you like best about the product?
ManageEngine AD Manager Plus presents all AD components in Graphical Mode helping understand and act on different Active Directory components. It helps in the segregation of duties as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to be disliked about ManageEngine ADMananager Plus. Almost all desired functions are available in it. The Dashboard can be improved it could easily be configurable to add custom dashboard items and automated alerts based on conditions set.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ManageEngine AD Manager Plus provides a graphical representation of Active Directory functions making it easy to take decision and make corrections in a much less amount of time.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a converged tool which is helping teams to manager AD accounts in a better way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Little Complex and not very easy to get the reports.

Better User Management.
ADManager Plus is a Must for Education IT
What do you like best about the product?
ADManager Plus is fantastic. What I love the most is that it is super customizeable. The product grows with new features and additional options all the time. It's perfect for a HelpDesk user for resetting passwords, but powerfull enough for Admin to do bulk changes, imports, and account management. The reporting aspects and scheduled tasks make managing a forest simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a huge fan of the AD360 integration if you have other ManageEngine products. For me, it feels clunky navigating between the other products, like ADAudit. Some of the categories on the toolbar aren't as self explanitory, but once you get past the learning curve, it's good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ManageEngine ADManager Plus allows for consistent user creation through templates. It also has a great log that helps to see what changes were made and who made them from within ADManager Plus. Identifying accounts that need attention is easy with ADManager Plus.

It isn't cloud.
It doesn't sync well with cloud SDP and works better with On-perm SDP.

ADManager Plus is a Plus
What do you like best about the product?
AD manager helps us streamline user creation. By simply filling out the predifined fields the correct groups/settings are applied. It eliminates errors and the bad practice of account mirroring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only Web based, I would prefer web and an app available to use. The cost could be considered high if you are a small business or don't have much of an IT budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our user creation process has been streamlined by ADManager Plus. We have made the process simple. By filling out a form, our Help Desk can quickly create users that have predifined settings based on the selections in the form.
Simple to setup and easy for Desktop Admins

It is easier to use and setup. Great for Desktop/Helpdesk Users.

ManageEngine does get a lot of vulnerabilitie patches and security issues.

Active Directory Management for lower level/junior admins.

What do you like best about the product?
We delegate administrative rights with ADManager instead of AD thus avoiding unnecesary risks, we get detailed activity reports and have a dashboard of AD.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite being a web service, sometimes it takes a while to respond and syncronize among all our infrastructure
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We reduce the number of people having rights on AD, now we use AD Manager users to delegate tasks and we have scheduled reports for Users, Groups, etc.
