Simplifies Compliance, Builds Customer Trust
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Vanta creates trust with potential customers. The ability to create a publicly facing dashboard is the first and foremost feature I value. Also, behind the scenes, tracking all the different aspects of maintaining SOC 2 compliance is very helpful. It makes sure that our team is accountable to those tasks, which I think is great. Additionally, the initial setup of Vanta is quite easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, the UI seems pretty straightforward, but as you get really granular with all the things for SOC 2 compliance, it gets pretty complex. With all the people in the mix, it's sometimes hard to tell who's truly accountable for getting things done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta for compliance and building trust with customers, as it shows our active efforts on achieving SOC 2 compliance. The public dashboard and ability to track compliance tasks are very helpful.
Effortless Compliance with Intuitive Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I like Vanta's easy UI and the progress bar, which make it straightforward to see how far along we are and who owns what. I also find the descriptions of all necessary docs and controls really helpful. It helps keep everything up to date and ready for audits, and lets us know when renewals are due.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to know exactly where missing items sit, like policies. I'd like everything to be available in one tab with all expiration dates and status.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta for HIPAA and SOC2 compliance, ensuring everything is up-to-date and audit-ready. It makes tracking ownership and progress easy and helps us know when renewals are due.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is the clarity it gives me. I can immediately see what’s in place, what’s missing, and what actually needs my attention, without second-guessing or keeping things in my head. That makes a big difference in my day-to-day work on ISO 27001 and ISO 9001. Audits feel calmer, there’s no last-minute evidence chasing, and I can focus on the substance of compliance instead of the logistics around it.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I miss is having ready-made templates for internal audits. The data and evidence are there, but when it comes to structuring an internal audit, a lot still has to be built manually. Having simple, well-structured audit templates to start from would save time and make it easier to turn the available information into something immediately usable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta solves the problem of visibility and coordination in compliance work. Rather than tracking controls and evidence across multiple tools, documents, and people, everything stays in one place and is easy to follow. For me, that reduces uncertainty and the mental overhead in day-to-day work. I don’t have to keep double-checking whether something is missing or whether it’s up to date.
Moving from "Snapshot Compliance" to Continuous Real-Time Monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
The automation engine is far more proactive than I expected. Instead of just flagging a missing policy, it monitors our actual AWS and GitHub configuration in real-time, catching drift the moment it happens. I particularly appreciate the "Trust Center" feature, which allows us to share our security posture with prospective via a clean URL rather than a messy ZIP file of PDFs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its not a major issues but it sometime feels, The initial mapping of custom control can be a bit rigid if your company doesn't fit the standard startup mold. While the automation is excellent, troubleshooting why a specific test failed sometimes feels like a scavenger hunt through different menus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta effectively ended our reliance on "compliance spreadsheets" that were always out of date. It solves the problem of evidence collection fatigue by automatically pulling the logs and screenshots needed for our SOC 2 audit. This has freed up our small engineering team to focus on building features rather than chasing down screenshots for authors.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how much heavy lifting Vanta removes, especially with its AI-driven questionnaire automation and centralized knowledge base. It turns long, painful workflows into quick, last-mile reviews and keeps our security information consistent, organized, and easy to deploy. Vanta's AI automation and centralized knowledge base make our workflow considerably lighter. The AI handles most of the questionnaire work upfront, so we only review and refine instead of starting from scratch every time. Meanwhile, the knowledge base keeps all our approved answers, evidence, and messaging consistent and easy to reuse. Together, these features turn what used to be slow manual processes into repeatable last-mile tests that save time, reduce errors, and keep our security responses aligned across the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the UI/UX a bit unclear, especially with some flows being confusing. For instance, in the CRM space, there's ambiguity about what is considered a task versus a note, which has slowed down our work. So, better transparency around CRM would be useful and appreciated. The knowledge management at scale needs improvement with true bulk editing, stronger filtering, a read-only view mode, and more powerful search options like better tagging and operators. The reliability of the Chrome extension isn't consistent, as it often seems to disconnect, unable to fetch answers and respond from the knowledgebase. I'd like more granular questionnaire automation controls, like confidence thresholds and behavior settings, to make the AI approach faster. Reporting and analytics could use better alignment with Salesforce, and pull more actionable metrics to quantify ROI better.

Vanta automates infosec questionnaires, centralizes our security knowledge, and runs our trust center, which eliminates repeat questions. It speeds up GRC workflows and reduces manual TPRM work. The AI-driven questionnaire automation and centralized knowledge base turn slow processes into quick, organized tasks.
Effortless Security Management, Great Cost-Effectiveness
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Vanta is really, really easy to use, making the entire experience great. It's been very helpful in keeping all our security documents in one place, which is invaluable when customers review our data or have questions. I can just send them a link to our trust center, and it answers pretty much everything they need, making our customers feel good. I also appreciate the features that allow me to track who is opening what tab. The initial setup of Vanta was very easy and quick, which was a relief. Additionally, I think Vanta is a little bit more cost-effective compared to similar products.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was a little easier to see who was on what page for how long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta to keep all of our security documents in one place, which helps when customers review them. It's been very helpful to send a link to our trust center, answering pretty much everything customers need and making them feel good.

What do you like best about the product?
I like their email notifications and the fact that the dashboard is easy to skim through. It centralizes everything we need to do to be up to date with the SOC 2 audit. Having a centralized place helps me complete tasks and open items that are required for the certification, which is very helpful, especially for saving time and staying organized with the process.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Vanta's UI and ease of use—they're very user-friendly and self-explanatory, which is super helpful. The custom integrations are great as they help gauge compliance and keep track of changes within the organization. The AI agent is useful, and the dashboard/trust center is a great feature for prospective clients to get an overview of my company's GRC efforts and access evidence easily. Setting up Vanta was fairly straightforward and hassle-free, and I really appreciate the roadmap structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find more custom integrations would be useful to make connecting with third-party vendors easier. The training videos could use a revamp to be more interactive and in-depth. The customer service process could be improved if I could set up a call easily with a representative. More content can be made available for cybersecurity training for employees.
