Great experience, wish we found Vanta years ago
What do you like best about the product?
We love the automated AWS controls which proactively alert us to security vulnerabiblities in our architecture which we would have not have found otherwise. The trust centre is excellent for reassuring our customers that we have a secure and robust infosec capability which also helps with RFPs. The automation of policy signoff for staff is very good for demonstrating compliance. We have our next major ISO audit later in the year and we hope the investment in Vanta will make that a lot simpler for our auditor.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of work to set the platform up and the control based architecture took some getting used to but now we have this setup it's working well. The dashboards can be quite noisy and it would be better if there were an easier way to flag controls as not relevant,

What do you like best about the product?
The effectiveness of the tool i.e. the evidence that it proposes for us to provide makes our Certification Audit program easy.
Ease of use i.e. users as part of the scope have to put in very little effort to update/close tickets.
Primarily and most important, the support from Vanta personnel.

What do you dislike about the product?
None that i can think of, since the tool is performing to our expectations based on our requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Completely eliminate the use of excel sheets for evidence collection & The guidelines on all applicable controls.
Can't imagine what it would be like without Vanta!
What do you like best about the product?
All the automated tests and documents show us exactly what we need to do in order to be SOC 2 and GDPR compliant. We can focus our team on completing the tasks, not trying to figure out what to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Of course price could always be lower. I wish they had a Notion integration.

Organizing everything we need to do to prepare for our SOC 2 audit.

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of time I get back to do other tasks. The coverage in different areas e.g. vendor management, risk management, vulnerability management, access reviews, helps compliance massively, knowing we have one place to go. The evolving feature set, continues to amaze. Lastly but definitely not least, the amazing vanta team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cant really think of anything I dislike. There were things at the beginning but that was 3 years ago and the journey has but great to be on.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform breaks down a complext cirtification into managable and organised items. The integrations and ability to directly partner with our auditor in the platform was a major plus for our team as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool can be a bit pricy, and cirtain features are only availible for an additioanl up-charge.

Ensuring we pass our first technical audit for SOC2.

What do you like best about the product?
Smooth enrollment process into the platform and ongoing support from the Vanta team. Great UX, flexible options and non-stop tool updates that make the process easier and faster. Thanks to Vanta we were able to get certified without any questions from auditors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd say the price is quite high for a startup, but even here Vanta team was able to offer us a flexible pricing approach.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta breaks down a framework's controls into actionable items, allowing my team to divide and conquer. It is the master dashboard for access, security, and personnel management that our IT team needs. We are able to connect to all of our significant platforms to get real-time audits on security, access, and maintenance decisions. Beyond receiving our certification, our IT team will continue to use this platform. This is a go-to for a startup company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Organizing people in Vanta can be a pain. If you use shared mailboxes or alternative mailbox solutions for users who may need more than one email, tracking these items out of scope can become laborious.

Easy process for SOC 2 acquisition
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is an excellent way of organizing your work and developing the acquisition of the SOC 2, it integrates many different fields of the company into a single tool where organization is key, allowing the following and research of every member of the company and their tasks.
Added to this, the facility of completing tasks and the amazing support you obtain from the different guides makes Vanta a perfect tool for daily use to develop many corporative tasks.

What do you dislike about the product?
The first time you see the software it can be hard to understand and follow, it's not the easiest program to understand and it takes quite a while to understand in depth all the tools and posibilities it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is allowing me to develop and organize all the tasks needed to obtain the SOC 2 certificate for my corporation. It's helping me find the weak points and where more efforts should be directed to to finally obtain the certificate.
Streamlined SOC 2 Compliance, Needs Consistent Support
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Vanta manages all our data proof and provides standardized documentation and shortcuts. The reminders are a big help in prompting us into activity and highlighting future risks so we don't fall into non-compliance. I also like that they guide us through the process, from providing templates to sourcing auditing or software providers, making everything quick and seamless. The initial setup was very easy, and I felt like my hand was held the entire time.

Account team changes with alarming regularity.

I use Vanta to secure and maintain our SOC 2 certification. It manages our data proofs, standardizes documentation, provides reminders, and helps prevent non-compliance by guiding us with prompts and highlights areas where updates are due.
