Lokalise is great for system and database translations
What do you like best about the product?
I like the translation suggestions from various sources and also the many different ways to work using the multifunctional filtering.
What do you dislike about the product?
The project I'm working on has many technical terms which are not used in my country, so difficult to translate; but this has nothing to do with Lokalise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I receive terms and phrases of my project with the task to translate them in Greek. Exactly the same task have many colleagues around the world and we can work in parallel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With Lokalise you can save time, structure well a project, meet parallel goals, measure the process.

What do you like best about the product?
Does what it says on the tin - helps to keep translations organised.
Good documentation including helpful videos as well as good written docs.
Useful APIs allowing a good automation flow and integration with our CI.
Some clever "extras" like fuzzy string matching for matching text within screenshots to strings - I actually used this to check the validity of our in-app strings vs the design!

What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides from a user point of view. I don't think it's cheap exactly, but we find it invaluable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a single, usable point of truth for strings over multiple platforms.
Allows us to easily automate a workflow for string additions and changes in live environments, via helpful APIs.

Fast and reliable software with great translation memory.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all. I would just prefer an easier way how to get back to old translations.

I am not solving any problems. I enjoy the benefits of great translation memory.

Easy to fill in and to update. Simple interface. Good user experience

The only thing I would like is to have the opportunity to modifiy something once for all (I don't know if it's possible)

It has an easy-to-use web interface for contributions to our open source project from non-developers.

With several Git repositories feeding into a single Lokalise project, we had to force some directory naming structure on our developers.

Our project has a worldwide audience and our developer pool is limited to just a few languages.

Lokalise´s interface is very intuitive and user friendly.
The integrations offered (Slack, Sketch etc.) makes the process easier and smoother for all the participants involved.

It will be ideal to have more integrations with tools like Zeppelin for example.

Internationalization of a mobile app. Bringing all stakeholders to a single place to manage the translations and reviews of the product in different languages simultaneously.

The feature set, UI and customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes search feature acts a little be awkward. E.g. when you search for some key, then duplicate it and boom. The search term is reset and you need to enter it anew. I would prefer for the search term to be more persistent. But that's a very minor annoyance, to be frank 😅
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company uses Lokalise for Web, iOS and Android apps. We like the ability to share translation between platforms and to order translations right from the Lokalise UI.

Easy to use application, VERY responsive support
What do you like best about the product?
I think probably the best part about using Lokalise is their support team, all the questions that I had were answered within a reasonable timeframe (considering timezone differences).
On top of this, we have been very happy with the application itself with no major issues that couldn't be solved with some help.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of our less standard i18n usages have a bit of trouble, but most of those should be solved with some of their planned updates that we have been told about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Localising our 8 separate applications across frontend and backend into 18 languages and giving us a great workflow to update translations easily.
Love it! Smart and simple localization tool
What do you like best about the product?
Working with Lokalise is simple, smooth and clear. The interface is intuitive, you just can't do anything wrong or "break" the system. Smart translation memory, statistics module, export/import tools, customizable filters are among our favorite features. You can create a translation or proofreading task in two minutes – it's as simple as that. Also we are super excited to start using the Figma plugin with Lokalise which should increase the efficiency of our team.
On top of that, Lokalise customer support is always responsive and very helpful. Highly recommend.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some minor visual bugs, nothing serious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can prepare multiple language versions of landing pages in the blink of an eye.
