This really eases localisation

What do you like best about the product?
1.You can export the new xcloc format from Xcode, import to localize, translate and reimport to Xcode with minimum stumbling blocks along the way. This is so important when localising to a language like Chinese where a non-speaker wants to avoid all interaction with the translated text to avoid introducing errors.
2. The online support is really excellent and often responds within seconds!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some wrinkles that you need to guard against when exporting chinese from Xcode to lokalise. Especially be very careful about the detailed selection of which language type. I think this needs simplification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
iOS app successfully localised with Dutch and Chinese (Simplified) so far
Recommendations to others considering the product:
carefully consider the exact language on import, and be consistent. You can waste a lot of time if you make the wrong choice. eg use "Chinese (Simplified)" rather than "Chinese (Simplified) China" unless you are really sure that's what you need.

What do you like best about the product?
Seeing suggestions for translations and being able to view a multitude of languages of a translation happen alongside one another.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to track what needs to be changed when the base file keys are altered - the unverified function doesn't always work accurately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Incorporating codes into translations without having to manually change codes which could confuse translators.

What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise has been improving since I started using it some years ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many TM options, which may hinder a faster performance while translating. MT is OK, but the TM itself should show only higher-match results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast way to translate, TM and MT.

Great service with excellent support

What do you like best about the product?
Using Lokalise for our apps localization has literally changed the way we manage our translations.
It really fits all our need with a great amount of features and all of our teams - designers, developers, product managers - quickly adapted it. We can't calculate how much time it saved us through our process.

The product is regularly updated with pertinent features based on the user needs.

Special big up for the support: really reactive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as we've used the platform, we've always found the a solution, with the help of the Lokalise team sometimes, to do what we wanted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems solved with Lokalise:
- Get a clean and resilient app localization management. We used to use Google Sheets beforehand.
- Improve the app localization process: keys updating, integration in our products.

Benefits:
- Managing localization has never been so easy.

Translation Management Internally & With Contracts

What do you like best about the product?
As an admin it's pretty easy to all the necessary set up to get our contractors into the system and working. It's nice to be able to see their progress on a particular task/language, and I'm looking forward to having our translation memory built up over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the timezone/location difference between ourselves and Lokalise it can be difficult to handle issues quickly. To their credit, questions are answered, just on a delay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're currently supporting 20 languages in our efforts to develop software that's used around the world. In order to properly manage this from all sides - internally, with our developers and designers, as well as externally with contract translators - we needed a tool like Lokalise to streamline the process.

Once everything is set up - users and language keys are added to the system, a process for updates/changes is created) use and management is very easy.

Easiest TMS and best support I've worked with

What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise has a very user-friendly interface, the filters and tags are extremely helpful in keeping everything organised and the in-line editor which synchs in both directions is a very neat little tool. Even just being able to attach screenshots to provide context has been a huge timesaver. Overall, Lokalise does exactly what it's supposed to do and the constant development has improved the software already so much over the time I've been working with it. However, the most noteworthy thing is the outstanding customer support that deals with questions and issues in record time.

EDIT 12/2020: I just wanted to emphasise again, how great the support is. They recently helped me clean up the translation memories for our various projects, something I wouldn't have been able to do on my own.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'll happily award all the stars when Lokalise provides better contributor stats and cost tracking. We're working mainly with external translators and need to be able to easily keep an eye on those metrics. CS has already informed me that this is on their radar and I can't wait for this to be implemented - Lokalise will be the one-stop solution for localisation and translation management then.

EDIT 12/2020: It is now possible to download CSVs that split up each task into contributors and match percentages which helps with cost calculation after translation. I can now track costs outside of Lokalise in a separate spreadsheet - obviously, it would be more elegant if this was also integrated in Lokalise itself. Now that I have created a large number of tasks with it, I'm hoping that the task management will be improved in future (maybe into a Kanban-type format, added search)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're aiming to provide our customers with a lokalised performance marketing platform in a dozen languages; we're not quite there yet but without Lokalise keeping everything in one place and providing online access to our remote contributors, synching and matching all required files would be an arduous task. As the project manager, I also appreciate how easy the software makes implementing a proper QA process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lokalise provides a wealth of features, extremely helpful customer service and continuous improvements. I would definitely recommend Lokalise for in-house projects; to be the go-to tool for working with external translators and large volumes of source strings, it would need to provide more advanced stats and cost calculations.

What do you like best about the product?
They have SDK, OTA localization updates and integration with bitbucket. Convenient panel for translators. Very responsive support, even on weekends which is a big plus for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no support for branches, and tags sometimes are inconvenient to use, a bit expensive SDK support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Localization process is much more simplified and better organised.
Automatic import of translated texts into the app is definitely great!

What do you like best about the product?
Upside to localise is that it is fairly easy to use and that it has got a simplistic UI which at once shows everything I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Left and right side of screen space are blank and could be utilized better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Localize is a management tool for keeping track of and implementing strings.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a very user friendly translation management tool full with advanced features to improve translation processes. It has great features, for example possibility to automatically attach screen shot from application to the correct key. With Lokalise we have managed to improve the whole translation process, which saved hours of work both for marketing and development department. For the many advanced features there are always a great chat support that gives immediate help. We are very happy with Lokalise and it has made the translation process transparent and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are nothing I have found to dislike so far:)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have much more control of our texts and translations and for the first time we have manage to have a proper QA process. We are all the time exploring new features which keeps to amaze us constantly. Lokalise has an amazing support - so you can always quick have queries solve on the spot, which makes it a very easy tool to learn. Now more and more departments within the company is starting to use the Lokalise.
