Great Training site for IT and PMP
What do you like best about the product?
I like to be able to obtain PDU for PMP renewal. Pluralsight is a certified training provider for PMP PDU. Other than that, it covers so many IT skills for tech personnel.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there is any testing module included. It would be helpful. The course is good, but I need to verify my learning by taking the testing module. Depending on the system, there might be, but not for courses what I took.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Courses are helping my staff to learn new IT skills such as SQL and programming. This helps because they can learn on their own and I don't have to teach them in person.
Still Learning
What do you like best about the product?
The path approach makes it easier to assign training to my staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
the amount of sales calls and emails from the Pluralsight sales team
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it is giving the staff the knowledge and skills to solve difficult problems without escalation
Surprising, Educational, New, Agile. It has been a pleasure building a program alongside Pluralsight
What do you like best about the product?
Pluralsight provides immense help, assistance, personalization, and collaboration. The Pluralsight program that we have developed is tailored not only to our needs but also to the participant's interests. Their great catalog makes it easy to choose from, adapt, and change the content. Experts clearly write the content; it is a high-level but comprehensive platform. Could not recommend it more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pluralsight is also a platform that requires constant monitoring if there is to be an organizational use. There must be managers who are as involved as the Pluralsight team wants. I'm not sure that is a dislike, but if a company cannot dedicate managers to overseeing the project and working alongside the Pluralsight squad, they will not get the best results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight is helping us by providing a single solution for all our upskilling training. As a platform, it is complete and coherent, which allows individuals to not only upskill in one or two areas, but any they want.
Excellent Platform To Level Up!
What do you like best about the product?
The content and broad category of subjects along with skilled and what seems like vetted authors.
What do you dislike about the product?
No so much a dislike, but if we could have a gamified section of pluralsight it might help user engagement, or have shorter videos. I find that my team does not watch as much as they should
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skilling up our beginner developers and keeping us up to date with the cloud.
Skills used to develop my team
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to assign courses and direction to my team ensures that our knowledge grows as the business requires it to do so.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the courses are slightly out of date
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistent accessible training
Comprehensive Baseline Assessments
What do you like best about the product?
As a platform, I've really been enjoying managing Pluralsight so far. The Pluralsight Skills feature is a great way to get a baseline assessment of where your employees are in relation to various skills. I use the Skills feature as a pre-req for any assigned training curriculum for my team, and I love that the option is built-in to get data on where your team's skills currently are and where they have areas to grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only negative comment is that I wish there were more Skills Assessments in other areas. I hope that they build out this area in the future because there are some areas where I'd like to assess members of the team, but they don't exist in the Skills IQ library yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight is solving our problem of a lack of comprehensive technical training. We currently use LinkedIn Learning for our organization, which is great, but for super technical roles, it's not enough. That's where Pluralsight has come in.
Mark Pluralsight review
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of content and the easy of use
What do you dislike about the product?
I would to see more content for management topics
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping people update to date on skills
If you're looking to improve your skills, Pluralsight is the perfect place to start
What do you like best about the product?
what I like best about Pluralsight Skills is that I can pause videos and return to them later. The instructors thoroughly explain each lesson thoroughly, and it seems the information is always up-to-date with current technological advancements. Additionally, I appreciate the wide variety of training programs available that cater to different roles within computer technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have zero complaints about Pluralsight Skills. However, I have a recommendation that would be valuable to novices. I believe it would be beneficial if playlists ranged from beginner to expert level skill sets were available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have found that the Pluralsight Skills app is an excellent resource for helping me learn new things and brush up on old ones. The ability to search for topics of interest and find several video results is beneficial.
A great online platform for video courses on various topics.
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to find context. I strongly prefer video courses over online (live) events, because this I way can fit my learning nicely in my schedule. Pluralsight provides a wide range of such content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some courses are pretty short or lack some hands-on demonstrations. Although it's great to learn about topics for general knowledge and to keep up with the "buzz words", sometimes one needs some demonstrations in order to decide whether a technology/framework would be the right tool for an upcoming feature at work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem is providing high quality video content about technological topics. It is benefiting me because I look for such content for my self development in my career.
