What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features of Pluralsight is the Skill IQ. It is different because it not only tells you how well you performed on a given skill. Based on your results it gives you relevant topics to watch and does not forces you to watch all the videos.

e.g. I gave the ML skill exam and had more incorrect answers for unsupervised learning so it prepared a selected video(module) list for that section mainly and skipped the sections where I had more than 80% accuracy.

I really like this fact as I did not have to watch all the videos and saved time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am in love with the platform and one of the reasons is the interface, ( Maybe biased due to the theme) and have not felt any issue in using the platform so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently preparing for the Machine Learning certification for AWS and liked the curated content. Had a very pleasant experience with AWS Cloud Architect preparation too as the content was very well organized and covered topics in detail with quizzes from time to time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is one of the best platforms to upgrade your skills and be in demand. Give it a try and you won't regret it.

What do you like best about the product?
Pluralsight is a good platform with many topics, we can find almost everything that we need. As I was studying more advanced network topics, they need to provide a bit more content related to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I mentioned before, I miss more complex content related to network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can learn about solutions used in my daily work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They will find almost all IT content.

What do you like best about the product?
Most valuable courses for the current market trend
You can choose the best courses based on your need, or you provide your details and get the best recommendation
Cost-wise, its a little expensive
Best videos with real-time examples.
Query clearing platform is at its best
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost is higher than udemy. However, worth money as we are getting valuable certificates. Needs a corporate account (i think)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Certifications are one of the significant problems in the current fast-paced IT world. With plural sight, my team and I completed many certs and helped us during the year-end ratings.

Great Learning Portal

What do you like best about the product?
Pluralsight has a lot of great courses that are easy to find. When you're inside a course, it is also easy to navigate between different lessons in the course. Your course progress is also tracked so you can know where you left off. Finally, I really like the skill assessments that Pluralsight has.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like how you can display skill assessment results on your profile, but it doesn't seem like anyone will ever see them. There isn't much of a social aspect in Pluralsight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been in situations where there is no subject matter expert on my team. Normally, I would ask technical questions to the SME. However, when there is none Pluralsight has been a valuable resource for learning.

Technology Skills Ready Platform!!!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the Role IQ and skill IQ feature a lot in Pluralsight. Also, apart from this, Pluralsight provides free access to the certification practice questions and has interactive courses and projects available to ensure that whatever you learn sticks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would expect from Pluralsight is to make the hands-on labs feature available even for individual customers. Even though that feature exists in the platform but still is not available for individual members, again, if it is included in the membership, maybe by charging a little extra, I would assume it would be appreciated by the Pluralsight Skills individual users Community.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight Skills has always kept me up to date with the ever-changing technology World. Be it Certification Preparations or just learning a technology you want to get exposure to, skills helps you in the same. They have expanded library of courses ranging from development to infrastructure and business management etc(more than 7500 +). Hence It became my go-to platform for studying.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a single platform that will cater to your needs, then you seriously should be using this platform. Excellent hands-on courses, Role IQ, and Skills IQ are the features that make this platform stand apart from the competition.

It might be costly for few people.
There is no way to sort or filter content based on rating.
It provides chatting support for only premium users.
Some courses are bit long and lengthy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Pluralsight for learning new technology and skills that are required in my field to succeed.
Whenever i need to revise some topics then i go to Pluralsight and cover all the important points related to that topic.

A complete, broad and updated collection of technical content of great quality

What do you like best about the product?
One feature unique to Pluralsight compared to its competitors is the ability to create channels - for learners individually and for companies for their set of employees, like new joiners each year - it allows them to curate a set of courses, videos and paths for a particular use case, providing structure and tracking, which helps in tracking productivity and completion rates.

Another feature I like is the Skill IQs, which will allow the user to answer a set of questions, and suggest the proficiency the user already has on the topic, and even recommend courses based on the score - which is helpful for users 'who don't know what they don't know'

The feature of 'interests' keeps giving new and updated content recommendations based on the skills you plan to learn, ensuring you don't miss some good, new stuff that's recently launched
What do you dislike about the product?
One major missing that other competitors have already leveraged is in browser coding or integrated environments where you can run the code as you type - Scrimba and Educative are two examples. It's rather a missing, since it's often hard to set up a development environment away from the learning platform and keep switching back and forth as you learn.

While the content recommendations are interesting, they could be further improved to be more customized, not just to the skills the user wants to take, but to the user's preferred learning style as well - if the user prefers shorter content spurts to longer paths, if she/he is looking for a certification /exam, or if she/he's just in it to learn for a role.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight is more than just a library of video courses - it's a learning platform customizable to the users. With features like skill IQs, channels, paths, and activity insights, it allows the user to plan their journey into learning a skill, ensure that they can track their progress quantifiably along the way, and provide quality content for the learning.

I have seen a major productivity boost when learning from Pluralsight, as I not just learn, but also track my progress along the way

"THE" Hub for Independent Learning

What do you like best about the product?
Pluralsight Skills is an excellent web-based tool to invest in as they have such a complete and diverse package of training videos. Any topic I've searched has had multiple courses for different experience levels, from basic coding to advanced .NET classes. I really like how there's complete control of the videos as you watch them, like slowing down or speeding up playback, skipping or retaking sections, and closed captions.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint is the same for watching any video class, and that's that we're auditing. There's not an easy way to ask a question or request further explanation on any particular point. This is the nature of video training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We really like using Pluralsight Skills, because it allows us to complete training on our own time schedule. It's all done independently, yet a whole team could take a course and discuss at a later time.

Best Skill Development Platform

  • September 25, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the best learning platforms on any topic. It has video tutorials as well as hands-on labs. The best part is we can also check our skills by giving skill tests for no added cost and get to know how much we know the topic, where we need improvement. Get a certificate of completion on completing a particular training or path.
What do you dislike about the product?
Should include topic-related tests at the end of courses, so that one can get to know which topic to work on more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the best parts is just searching for a topic or skill. It has pre-designed paths with all relevant and related topics that should also be done in order to be proficient in that topic. It has helped me a lot in terms of gaining proficiency on the topic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is highly recommended for high-quality courses and learnings. Has support for hands-on projects and labs also. Just search for the topic and choose any pre-designed path and follow it for being proficient.
