What do you like best about the product?
Asana is very intuitive and easy to use for managing tasks and projects across teams. I like how clearly it organizes work with timelines, task assignments, and progress tracking. The interface is simple, and integrations with other tools make it easy to keep everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features are only available in paid plans, which can be limiting for smaller teams. It can also feel slightly overwhelming at first because of the number of options and views available, especially for new users.

Powerful Task Management, Slight Learning Curve

  • March 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the to-do list feature in Asana because I'm able to write down everything that needs to be done and keep track of whether it's been completed and when. This includes tracking deadlines, which I really find useful. I like how it helps me stay organized and allows me to prioritize tasks effectively. Not only forget, I can see what other colleagues are working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that the platform could be a little more intuitive for first-time users. It took me quite some time to figure out how to navigate in the platform, including what kind of tasks need to be described and how to complete the task, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to manage tasks and track progress, ensuring I don't miss anything important. It boosts my productivity compared to Notepad or other tools.

Great for Personal Task Management, but Setup Could Be Simpler

  • March 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I do like the My Task feature because I think it's pretty simple. For someone who isn't looking to use Asana for extensive tasks, it's very straightforward. It helps me make sure I'm paying my bills on time and doing my chores. I think that's very good. But I can also use it for tasks that I need to accomplish during a day at work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was just a template for people who want to use it for just very simple tasks. I think there's this element where it becomes overly complicated and it doesn't need to be. For example, I don't need some extensive template for the projects that I'm working on. I would rather it just give me a suggestion for a list that I can use to just knock off everyday tasks. It was not easy to sign up just for a person. I had to choose a work group and all of these other things, but some people like myself just wanna use it as an efficiency tool to help me stay organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to stay organized and prioritize tasks, making sure I pay bills on time and do chores. It's also useful for work tasks.

I wanna be able to understand Miss Donna better. Where I get push notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me stay on track by setting due dates and checking progress. It summarizes everything I do, providing general insights and recommendations.

Vital for Project Management and Collaboration

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that you can make tasks recurring in Asana, and you can also set milestones and goals. It's really handy that you can share them with your entire workspace instead of just one specific unit. I also appreciate the automation sets with rules, as they create an integrated system for the entire company to operate. Asana serves as our tool for tracking everything that's happening within all departments and stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Those rules regarding subtasks could be improved. And also with Studio AI. Has a lot of room for improvement. I believe those are things that are being worked on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves communication issues by giving visibility into project status and responsibilities, tracks development, and analyzes data from different perspectives.

I like that Asana is easy to navigate and it helps automate tasks, making operations more efficient on a daily basis. It keeps everything organized and ensures everything is on schedule. It allows us to get a full view on the status of our projects. Asana keeps track of all our agency's activities and coordinates project management effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think they could improve on the interface. Make it more insightful in terms of the number of tasks and the status or like, how many open items that we have. The home page would be more of an insights dashboard.

I use Asana to keep everything organized, ensuring our projects stay on schedule. It helps us get a full view of our project status, optimizing coordination for all our agency activities.

As a Recent Re-Convert, Asana Keeps Getting Better

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Exponential improvement since its inception over a decade ago. The design aesthetic is incredible, and it’s easy to navigate. It also has great AI capabilities and quality features across various subscription levels, plus a discount for non-profits. As a project manager with nine years of experience, I recently switched to Asana from other platforms I used to swear by.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s unfortunate that, on the first page, you can’t access portfolios. I also wish Asana offered a sliding scale for smaller organizations or independent artists versus corporations. It’s also a bit weird that you have to click “show inherited fields” just to view custom fields that have been added—for example, a custom status.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve used Wrike, Podio, ClickUp, Monday.com, and Motion, and I appreciate each of them for different reasons. I stuck with Wrike for years, but I was recently converted to Asana while working on a client project.

I used Asana back in the early days, when it was essentially just a glorified checklist, and I was genuinely blown away by what it’s become. It makes international collaboration easy, and the functionality and interface are received positively by people from different cultures and by teammates who speak different languages. It’s also relatively easy to customize projects, and the overall aesthetic isn’t just for vibes—it feels psychologically informed. Being on the platform consistently feels like a fun, positive experience, not a dreaded task.

User-Friendly with Robust Project Tracking

  • March 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I most enjoy that Asana is easy for end users to use. Asana has been the easiest for my team to adopt, especially since we didn't previously use project management tools. It's easy to assign and reassign tasks and to create templates of projects that we often revisit. I appreciate the visible progress across portfolios. Task reassignment is straightforward, allowing us to delegate tasks efficiently. Template creation is a time-saver, especially with recurring tasks, letting us set predetermined date ranges for due dates without adding them annually. I value the visible progress tracking, which shows a percentage completion on projects, helping us determine what we are ahead on, what we're behind on, and what needs further attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
The notifications are a little bit difficult, and my team often receives many more notifications than they would like via email. We can't simply disable them because it would be for everything. I'd like to see more customization in what kind of cadence these notifications go out and what information they'd detail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows my team to collaborate across departments, track tasks at a managerial level, and prevent overdue projects. It streamlines task reassignment, simplifies template creation for recurring tasks, and enables visible progress tracking to manage project timelines efficiently.
