Effortless Workflow Tracking with Unmatched Automations & Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it easy to organize and track progress on workflows across teams, as well as organizing personal tasks. The automations and integrations with Asana are unmatched!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are truly very few downsides to Asana. I do wish it could be used more easily for a content calendar setup, although there may be a better way to configure that now after ongoing improvements have been made to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps improve the visibility of work being done and foster collaboration across multiple teams. It's simple and intuitive for basic users, but it also has the capabilities to become more robust. The automations and workflow management features have helped save an incredible amount of time, and giving feedback via comments in the platform is so seamless. It's also easy to work with an external partner for various projects and bring them into the fold. It is by far the best project management tool I've used.
Effortless Team Management with Intuitive UI
What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana for team management in my agency as it helps automate things like onboarding, provides clear visibility on deadlines, ongoing task management, and progress through projects. I appreciate its ease of use and user interface. I've tried many other platforms like Teamwork, Trello, Monday, ClickUp, and Notion, but none of them feel as easy to use or have as nice a UI as Asana. It's just clean, clear, and decluttered, which is important to me as a designer. Setting up Asana was very easy, and using the AI made it even simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just wish time tracking could be included in lower plans, but totally understand they need to run a business. But I would LOVE time tracking!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me automate onboarding, offers clear visibility on deadlines, manages ongoing tasks, and tracks project progress.
Asana Makes Task and Project Management Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is excellent for task and project management. The intuitive interface makes it easy to organize work, assign tasks, set deadlines, and track progress. The multiple views (list, board, timeline) are very helpful for different workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is quite high for larger teams, and some advanced features are locked behind expensive plans. The mobile app can be slow at times, and there is no built-in time tracking feature without third-party integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps our team manage projects and tasks efficiently, replacing scattered emails and spreadsheets. It improves visibility into project status and team workload, enabling better collaboration and on-time delivery of projects.
Streamlined Project Management with Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Asana is a simple tool to use. The online academy is a great incentive as it offers opportunities for users to improve their skills with Asana. The AI experience has been a great addition and has actually modified the tool. I appreciate the automatic workflows we can create, which we learned from the academy. The initial setup was quite smooth, possibly due to having the right players in place to help lead its adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be more Spanish courses in the academy that are recorded and accessible asyncronically. Also, it would be good to have interactions like a quiz after the courses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to manage projects and initiatives, and it keeps all our communications recorded and ensures they reach necessary stakeholders.
Intuitive UI, Streamlined Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I find the UI and UX in Asana very valuable because everything feels easy and there's no complications or complex work. Assigning tasks to other people is straightforward, and I really appreciate the custom fields since you can customize them according to your needs. The simple automations in Asana are also a big plus as they can solve most of the problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The standard working templates are not available and support feels a bit delayed. What would be excellent addition is replicating the automations, for example if an automation (Rule) is created in a profile and the same automation can be copied to other profiles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves communication issues for specific work, simplifies fetching data on completed or ongoing projects, and provides a unified platform for cross-team collaboration.
AI-Enhanced, Streamlined Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like how goals are connected to projects and departments (teams) in Asana. I also like how AI makes it easy to create rules, summaries, and track projects. It saves me time when I need to write a summary and post status updates to the team as I can automatically tie it to the progress in connected projects. The goal setting/view for the company is an aspect I appreciate, and the AI assistance and agentic rule setting are better compared to other options. The initial setup was pretty simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the AI could be more native to connected apps. Meaning that when I connect Google Drive, the AI could read those docs, or if I connected HubSpot, my sales CRM, it could read into those projects and progress and connect it to my company goals and give feedback on how to get things moving. So not just managing projects, but improving project velocity, targets, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana streamlines communication between projects and cross-functional teams. I like how goals connect to projects, saving time with AI for rules, summaries, and tracking. It ties progress automatically to work in connected projects, aiding in status updates.
Due Dates and Reminders That Keep Us on Track
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the due dates and reminders feature
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the repeat due date system as it creates a lot of duplicate tasks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management and remembering my tasks
Ease of use and great integration with applications
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use of Asana and the clarity it provides, as well as the ability to integrate with other applications like Microsoft Teams. Asana helps me manage projects and organize work by entering daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, and it helps solve problems of forgetfulness and procrastination by adding details, images, and information to tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI summary can be improved to give better results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me overcome forgetfulness and procrastination by adding details, images, and information to tasks.
Engaging Task Manager with a Slight Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for daily task management, and it's easier to get all my tasks in one place, collaborate with people on my team, and get updates from editors in real time. I really enjoy the satisfaction of completing a task and watching a unicorn avatar flash through the screen. I like the different views for looking at my tasks and the data points that show my team's progress, which are pretty useful. With the dashboard, I can see the progress of how many articles I have worked on this month, the goals I've met, and the tasks that are still in the pipeline. The initial setup was also pretty quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a slight learning curve trying to get used to all the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to get all my tasks in one place, collaborate with my team, receive real-time updates, and add subtasks for workflow stages.
Asana is Polished Team Project Management with Flexible Views
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the most polished project management tool I've used at the team level. The ability to view the same project as a list, board, timeline, or Calendar without any extra setup is genuinely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface, while clean, can become cluttered quickly on large projects with many subtasks and dependencies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were managing a marketing and product team simultaneously with a mix of Spreadsheets and email threads. Deadlines were missed not because of lack of effort but because of visibility was poor, Asana fixed that almost immediately. The timeline view alone has prevented at least a handful of launch delays by making bottlenecks visible before they become emergencies.
