Nothing. All is good. It all works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana will solve the issue of having too many emails bouncing back and forth and thus making our office more efficient.
Does What Trello Did for Us—And More
What do you like best about the product?
It does what Trello did for our company—and even more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that they use Zoom for the free trainings. It’s not a big problem, but I would prefer Google Meet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everyday workflow.
Customizable Yet Overwhelming for New Users
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the customizations in Asana. When developing a new project, I'm able to select all different types of customizations to make sure that my projects can reflect what they need to know. It offers flexibility for me to link specific documents or attachments, import forms, or connect other elements that might live outside the Asana database. This flexibility helps me create what I need to do well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there's a lot of things that you need to know in order to participate. It's not entirely user friendly, and maybe that's because it's trying to accomplish so many different things. I get easily overwhelmed with the amount of buttons and drop downs and different options that one needs to take. I think it would be easier if it was just like a big open screen and it says would you like to do? Start a new project? Create a group event? do some checklist tasks? and then kind of go from there. So the whole user interface is just a very overwhelming, and it makes it seem not user friendly and that I wonder if I'm really gonna use it as much as I would like to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me get my tasks in order, figure out smaller tasks, organize categories of projects, collaborate better with my team, and remember tasks for timely completion.
Asana Makes Workflow Management and Team Collaboration Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is super helpful to me in managing my workflow and keeping track of upcoming tasks. I love that you can collaborate with other teams and coworkers on tasks- it's super user-friendly. It's a great price for all of the features that we get and it's easy to understand when you're onboarded as an employee.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very rarely, there are updates that are super disruptive to the work I am doing. Sometimes they take several hours and Asana is typically offline for that entire time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me manage my upcoming tasks, projects, and deadlines by keeping track of to-do list items and when they are due. Instead of paper lists or calendars, Asana is an awesome place to house all of your tasks and also categorizes them chronologically, so you're able to prioritize your time super easily.
User-Friendly Views, Helpful AI, and Reasonable Pricing
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of different views, a user-friendly interface, and a dedicated nonprofit team. We’re currently working with our IT team to integrate it with M365. The AI feature has been great for helping with some of our status updates. Overall, the pricing model feels very reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting used to the structure and how it works was a bit challenging at first, but now that we’ve gotten the hang of it, I find it very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we started using Asana, there was very little transparency into what everyone on our team was working on. It was hard to check in on the overall health of projects, and many tasks that seemed small ended up falling through the cracks, which led to negative outcomes on some of our projects.
A Key to Clarity and Success
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and the different dashboards you can view. I appreciate the templates that are provided, though I choose to make my projects from scratch. I like how tasks don't disappear when you complete them. I appreciate the task updates I receive in my email. I also appreciate the ability to change the color and icons of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more colors and icons for projects. I wish we could choose a different animation when a task is marked complete. I don't like how you have to confirm you are deleting a task 3 times. I wish we could color code project sections and tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to struggle to keep track of my project tasks on paper or in other formats because I had to remember to check my files. It was also difficult to know which team members were responsible for which tasks. Now we can view each project as a team and keep one another accountable. We set deadlines, and reminders are sent to our emails so the timeline stays on track. Being able to view and edit projects together helps us stay aligned. We can also recreate a project easily by duplicating it and then adjusting the dates and other information as needed, which keeps our processes streamlined and consistent.
Easy-to-Use Project Management and Organization with Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana for its ease of use for project management and organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can, at times, feel heavy or overly complicated for small team use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our team stay focused and collaborative. This allows me to know that we are not missing anything.
Asana Keeps My Work Organized and Stress-Free
What do you like best about the product?
I was a sticky note queen and I can have some real challenges keep my thoughts and priorities in order because of my large amount of work responsibilities. Asana makes it easy to keep up with all my obligations and organizes it in a way that does not add extra stress to my plate. I have Claude linked to my Asana along with my Google Calendar and Gmail and oh my gosh has that been a lifesaver.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found any downsides yet, I even really enjoy the training videos on how to use Asana. They are very informative and its a fun platform to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a department of one and have been trying to show the extent of my workload so I can get some much needed help in my department. This is allowing me to track my tasks and my time to show how overloaded I am.
A Great Project Management Software For Diverse Teams
What do you like best about the product?
kanban boards, multi-homing, tweaking to fit our different types of teams. I like that it also integrates with slack for better interconnectivity and the it is very rarely in an outage, so it's reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There needs a bit more flexability with rules. Right now I have to use a third party app (flowsana) to target subtasks. So more rule options and also more form options would be a great improvement. Also making AI agents and bots accessible on non-enterprise plans would be great. Our team will never be big enough for a enterprise plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting context to teammates in an effective way. We don't have project managers so Asana allows tasks to route to the right people
Intuitive Management and Strong Task Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I find that Asana is easy to manage and easy to use. I also appreciate the artificial intelligence features being built in Asana and the workflows which can automate tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Asana could be more GraphQL-friendly for users. In Asana, there are a lot of issues with writing information, and it would be helpful if there were some symbols to identify different tasks or different colors for different tasks. This could help us organize our work better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me take notes during meetings and convert them into tasks and milestones. It keeps track of project tasks with the members involved, making task management more efficient.
