Straightforward Project Management That Makes Team Coordination Easy

    Reviewed on Jun 10, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The project management and task assignments are very straightforward. It’s been really easy to coordinate my team and keep track of which projects we currently have open.
What do you dislike about the product?
The homepage isn’t customizable enough. It would be much more helpful if there were more integration options available on the front end, so I wouldn’t have to go searching to find the project I think I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing our team to create and drop files into projects so that all of the work is stored in one place and easily accessible

What do you like best about the product?
Simple straightforward software that fits perfectly for my organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very few things not to like. Actual hours spent are a little cumbersome to extract from the system. (csv in an email.) Customizable report would be easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing projects but I also use Asana to organize my time. It has replaced all sorts of time management tools.

Asana Makes Task Organization and Team Alignment Effortless

    Reviewed on Jun 10, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is how easy it makes it to organize tasks, track progress, and keep everyone aligned on priorities. It gives clear visibility into workloads, deadlines, and overall project status, which helps strengthen accountability and improve collaboration across teams. Being able to build workflows, assign tasks, set due dates, and communicate directly within projects makes it a practical, effective tool for staying organized and boosting productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Asana is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming when managing a large number of projects and tasks. Notifications can become excessive, making it easy to overlook important updates. Additionally, some features require multiple clicks to access, and new users may need time to learn the platform and navigate workflows efficiently. While it is a powerful project management tool, maintaining organized boards and tasks requires consistent upkeep from the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping solve challenges related to task tracking, accountability, and team communication. It provides a centralized place to manage projects, assign responsibilities, monitor deadlines, and track progress in real time. This helps reduce missed tasks, improves visibility across teams, and ensures that important projects stay on schedule. For me, it has increased organization, improved follow-up, and made it easier to prioritize work and collaborate effectively with team members.

Efficient Project Management, Slight Integration Hiccups

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Asana rules pretty frequently. I love the flexibility in setting up different roles for each project or portfolio. It's great for helping other teams streamline how they intake work and how it flows through their processes. The ability to connect Asana to other apps like Slack is fantastic as it allows me to send updates or information over to my teammates. I appreciate how Asana helps me manage my projects on a daily basis and move work through process flows. When I started using Asana, the initial setup was pretty easy, especially for early adapters who really wanted to use the tool. All the features are really helpful and beneficial if you're running multiple projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the Slack connection could be improved. It is difficult within Asana to tag someone in a Slack message, and that would be really beneficial. Asana is a little pricey, so it is harder to recommend to other people. The time tracking could also be a bit better to be able to run down time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me keep all my projects in a portfolio, allowing me to see all project statuses and check for overlaps.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of tools and features that are available. The customization is very helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that there are built in columns that you cannot remove or edit such as due date and assignee. I know you can hide them but I would like to be able to edit the titles at least
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a lot of events, contracts and tasks to keep track of and this program lets me have a project page for each of those. I can collaborate and sort and track everything. The automations make it easy to get work done on time without forgetting due dates.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Asana's interface because it's very user-friendly. I also think they offer a lot of training programs and resources that other businesses similar to Asana don't have. Additionally, the initial setup was really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to learn enough about Asana during the free trial to actually feel successful enough to purchase the higher levels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think Asana will help with managing memberships and understanding members' contributions in a nonprofit context.

Asana Makes Task Management Easy with Intuitive List and Board Views

    Reviewed on Jun 09, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Asana is that it is incredibly easy and intuitive to use. I love that it as a project manager I can efficiently assign out tasks, set deadlines and monitor tasks progress without making anything over complicated. I especially enjoy that it comes with two separate interfaces (list and board) to track different types of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some disadvantages such as not being able to access all sophisticated features, such as automation and advanced reporting, at cheaper plans. In large projects containing lots of tasks, the space feels a little messy and has the need of much organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has centralized all the task, update and communication. Before, everything was on separate email and chat but it makes us easy to check the updates and to know who is working on what, improving coordination and reducing confusion among team.

Asana’s Portfolio View and Subtasks Are a Game-Changer

    Reviewed on Jun 08, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I find the ability to nest lists within lists (subtasks) extremely useful. The Portfolio view is something I’ve been looking for across different project management tools, and Asana does it best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d like to see a personal-use tier that lets me pay for the Portfolio tool with just one seat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this for quick project organization and to stay proactive in my job by setting tasks and due dates. It also helps me follow up and check on my coworkers’ progress so nothing falls through the cracks.
