Asana Brings Goals, Tasks, and Deadlines Together for Total Team Clarity

  • May 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is simply the best workplace management tool available. What I love most is how it brings everything together in one place — goals, projects, tasks, and deadlines — giving my team complete visibility and clarity on what needs to get done and when. It keeps us aligned, accountable, and on track, no matter how complex our workload gets. Asana has genuinely transformed the way we collaborate and execute as a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there is very little to dislike about Asana. It consistently delivers on its promise as a powerful project and goal management tool. If anything, new users may face a slight learning curve when getting started, but once the team is onboarded, the experience is seamless and the value is immediately clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves the core challenges of team and project management by giving everyone a single source of truth. Before Asana, keeping the whole team aligned across multiple projects was a constant struggle. Now, priorities are clear, progress is visible, and nothing falls through the cracks. The benefit is a more focused, productive team that consistently delivers on its goals.

Customizable and Easy to Use, Ideal for Task Management

  • May 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable Asana is. The AI features help me automate some tasks or workflows, making things easier. I enjoy the different views, which are a part of the customization process. The features make it pretty easy to use, and I can quickly build projects and upload documents like PDFs. It's also easy to train my team on using Asana and collaborating within the tool. I find the initial setup super easy, especially with the templated projects that serve as a starting place to edit and customize from there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there's just some minor ones that are kind of the functionality of it and the UX. How to create sub tasks. Right now, I'm on a lower tier plan with my company. However, I've been on the higher tier plan before, and I definitely see a benefit of the higher tier. I think some of the customization and ability that you have is not there on the lower tier. I think having to create the manual subtasks is one big one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to write down all of my tasks, keep track of what needs to be done, and easily share content between teams, making reviews easier.

Streamlined Project Management and Client Coordination

  • May 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really liked Asana's clean and easy-to-use interface, which made managing client projects much smoother. The features like task assignment, timelines, comments, and status updates facilitated smooth collaboration, especially when managing client projects. What stood out was how Asana allowed us to track progress easily and keep both internal teams and clients aligned without relying heavily on emails or meetings. Features like task assignment and timelines helped our team clearly understand who was responsible for each activity and when it needed to be completed, improving accountability and reducing delays during client projects. Comments and status updates were particularly useful because all discussions, progress updates, and blockers stayed attached to the relevant task, helping internal teams and clients quickly understand the current status of work without long email threads or repeated follow-ups. Also, creating projects, assigning tasks, and organizing workflows in Asana was straightforward, and most team members could start using it quickly with minimal training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notification management is the one area where Asana could be improved. In large projects with many team members, the number of updates and alerts can sometimes feel overwhelming and make it easy to miss important items. Asana could improve notifications by adding better filtering and priority settings. In large projects, too many alerts can become distracting, so customizable notifications for deadlines, mentions, and critical updates would help users focus on what matters most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for project management and client coordination. It solves communication and project tracking issues by improving task visibility, accountability, and reducing confusion. Its features like timelines, comments, and status updates keep internal and client teams aligned without unnecessary emails or meetings.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that its easy to use. i like that all my tasks across multiple jobs pop up for me in an organized way. I also like being able to see other project managers job status and see what tasks they have coming up and what re complete. I dont have any integrations. The AI is ok but coule be better
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it could integrate with other programs better and easier. particuallarly with outlook. most of my tasks come from outlook. I hate the pricing model. if someoneon on my team accidentallys adds someone i get a notice of charging my credit card in 48 hours. Thats BS and super upsetting. Adding a team member just shouldnt be allowed until payment is received.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
organizing all my tasks. I get interpted all the time. having a task list helps me stay on task and stay productive despite the interuptions

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Asana's interface, which is extremely good. I like the flexibility it offers since you can edit the fields you use and add them as needed, which gives me total flexibility. The ease of the interface also stands out, making it simple to interact with vendors, and the fact that it's cloud-based adds to its convenience. The initial setup was very simple for my team.

The sales team and folks. I've been asking for pricing and still haven't received it after three weeks.

What do you like best about the product?
The rule feature helps to automate a lot of manual tasks and saves up time. The ease of assigning tasks and collaborating within tasks with other colleagues are very simple and saves a lot of time for communications. The support received when onboarded to Asana was good as well as they provided direct training on how to use the software. We are able to integrate other softwares and communications apps to get easy notification on those apps as well. The performance of Asana is pretty smooth and does not lag when working in it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is pretty complex and you need a bit of time and practice get a hold of it. Hence, needing to join trainings are necessary to fully utilize it.

Great Training Resources, Still Learning Asana

  • May 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I'm still getting to learn Asana, but it seems they have great training resources. I do like the live trainings as they help me be able to click and follow along so I can learn the systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge I have is learning the lingo. Which may just be because I'm new to the platform. There is a lot of lingo verbiage to try and comprehend, so I can make sure and know what I'm looking for or what I'm looking at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm hopeful Asana will resolve tedious, time-consuming task management, keep things clean and clear, and help track visibility to ensure a good workload for our employees.
