Asana: Powerful, Intuitive, and Integrative—But May Be Pricey and Complex for Some

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana stands out as an exceptional work management platform for three compelling reasons. First, its intuitive and adaptable interface—featuring boards, lists, and timelines—enables teams to seamlessly manage tasks ranging from simple to-do lists to complex multi-stage projects. Second, it brings clarity and accountability to collaboration by clearly assigning task ownership, deadlines, and objectives, ensuring all members stay aligned and focused. Finally, its ability to integrate with widely used tools such as Slack, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams creates a unified workflow, reducing context switching and information silos. Together, these features help teams transform chaotic workflows into structured, transparent, and efficient processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
While some users may find its pricing model less accessible for small teams or individual users, Asana's advanced features and automation capabilities are primarily available in its paid tiers. Additionally, individuals or teams accustomed to simpler to-do list applications might perceive its extensive functionality as overly complex for basic task management needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana effectively solves the problem of task and project disorganization by providing a centralized platform that clarifies responsibilities, timelines, and objectives. This brings clear benefits: it eliminates confusion over ownership, reduces time wasted on status updates, and ensures everyone is aligned, ultimately accelerating project completion and reducing team stress.

Great for Tracking Cases, but Can Be Slow to Refresh

  • October 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been very helpful in allowing me to keep track of the cases I work on. Whether a case is still pending or already resolved, I can view and organize them into different categories. This makes it easy for stakeholders to see what the team has accomplished each day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be a bit slow to refresh, likely because so many people are using it at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It essentially helps us track the number of cases completed each day and monitor their status. The urgent cases are automatically placed at the top, allowing us to address them first and prioritize our work efficiently. Stakeholders are able to view these cases as well and can add notes whenever necessary. This system also enables our customers to receive the best possible results in a timely manner.

Makes Team Organization Simple

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Asana keeps all my stuffs organize. It’s super easy to see who doing what and what’s left. The layout looks clean and simple to understand even if you not that tech savy. I like how I can add deadlines, subtasks and small notes all together. It honestly help me and my team stay on same page without so much confusion or messages everywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels kinda heavy, like too much things on screen and I get lost. The notifcations comes too often and gets little annoying. Also few things takes extra clicks to do which feels waste of time. It’s overall really good but ya, bit too much sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me keep all my work in one place instead of random notes or messages everywhere. Before using it, I used to forget tasks or mix up deadlines all the time. Now I can see what’s due, who’s doing what, and what’s already done. It also helps my team work together without needing to message each other for every small thing. Everyone just updates their tasks and we all stay in sync. It really saves time and keeps me more focus and less stressed about forgetting something important.

Asana: Flexible and Visual, but Steep Learning Curve and Pricey Upgrades

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is how visual and flexible it is. I love that I can switch between a simple list, a Kanban board, or even a timeline view for the same project. It lets everyone work the way they want without messing things up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can be a bit much when you're just starting out. There are so many features that it's easy for new users to get lost and for projects to become a total mess if you don't set some ground rules. My biggest gripe is that some of the most useful features, like good reporting tools, are locked behind the pricey business plans. It feels like you hit a paywall pretty quickly once your team starts to grow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Asana solves is keeping us organized and giving everyone a clear view of what the whole team is working on. Before, tasks would get dropped, and nobody really knew who was responsible for what. Now, everything has a place, an owner, and a deadline, which has been a game-changer for just getting organized. The best part is having a single place to see all the team's tasks. It helps us balance workloads and makes it super easy to see the progress on our big projects without having to constantly ask for updates. We're spending way less time figuring out who's doing what and more time actually getting stuff done.

A Must-Have for Seamless Task and Project Management

  • October 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Asana allows seamless task creation and management, which significantly enhances our team collaboration. It integrates task sharing effortlessly and lets me manage tasks in my personal board while keeping the weekly timeline organized. The flexibility to handle subtasks and automatic project plan imports saves immense time, and the filters are pivotal for tracking deadlines efficiently. I find it vital for my daily productivity, and the non-profit discount makes it incredibly affordable for the value it provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of an option to archive completed tasks frustrating. When I complete a task, it just remains on the list unless I manually delete it. This process is time-consuming and cumbersome because there's no quick way to remove all completed tasks automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana consolidates my task management, allowing me to manage personal and team tasks efficiently in one platform. It automates project workflows, eliminating manual effort and double task entry, ultimately saving me time and streamlining my productivity.
