Great tool, easy to use and good for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and it helps me organize my tasks and projects with my team. I like the different projects view like timelines and calendars.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much that I don't like about this product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to keep projects on track, collaborate on projects, and task management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great! We love it.
Great tool for keeping us on track!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to add all of our team in and keep track of where we are at on all our projects across multiple clients. It is great that it communicates both online and via email. I love the tagging of people who need to be alerted.
What do you dislike about the product?
People being restricted based on email provider. It makes it hard to get people full access if they prefer a personal email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the "due date" function to acually schedule out the tasks I want team members to work on that day. I have successfully used Asana to manage over 300 social profiles! I use the calendar view for my team to see what they need to be working on.
I also was able to build out templates that we used for larger recurring projects. After building out the templates we saw a significant decrease in the time it took us to turn projects out because our in house communication was so improved. We also saw a huge decrease in the projects that were "lost" when someone missed an email or even just forgot to pass it off.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great platform that is robust and easy to use. If you have multiple people working on multiple projects you MUST have this.
Asana Keeps Me Organized and Effective
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite things about Asana is that I can sort things by task due date in a list or view them on a calendar. That makes sure that I am able to see different kinds of tasks in the way that makes the most sense to me. You can also see how much your teammates have on their plate for the day or week before asking them to do something or assigning it to them. It helps make sure that we are all informed and getting things done in time for deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of notifications that you get automatically but you are able to turn them off and customize which ones you get so it's fine. It took me a while to figure out that you are able to customize which alerts you get so at first, my inbox was flooded with Asana notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana lets the team assign themselves and each other tasks in a very organized way. Instead of trying to remember things or write them down or get assignments in an email, all of our To Do's are right there in the same system. It has meant that I never forget to do something because it's right there in front of me with the details and the due date. I can also sort my tasks by due date and see what my week's workload looks like which is a huge help.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend Asana. It has really helped our team to get and stay organized.
Overall positive experience - recent upgrades have been very strong
What do you like best about the product?
New customization that allows you to add special columns and update the point in the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many notifications and can feel cluttered quickly. When you delete tasks, it often removes formatting or changes order in ways that can be a bit annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure their is a clear project management direction and that staff aren't doing the same work.
Quick, easy, smooth.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great workflow especially if you have freelancers. It’s easy to update them on new projects and keep them accountable for their work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are slight delays in assigning projects, but for the most part is pretty efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication is very easy and has solved a lot of problems. Benefits are clarity and efficiency with work flow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's very easy if you have multiple freelancers or workers in different areas. It's straightforward and easy to update and communicate with others.
Plan and follow up on your activities
What do you like best about the product?
I can organize my activities and tasks on cards, in which I can add dates, files and documents, its interface is simple and it is easy to adapt, I like it because I can take control of the project and assign tasks to the members of my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks more features, such as diagrams and the ability to edit images, I think it is a somewhat expensive tool and is not ideal for small businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With asana I save work and money since I can focus on what I really need, it is also very good to work with my colleagues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before hiring Asana, you should know if it meets what you need, although I'm sure it can adapt to any environment.
Easy to use and stay organized
What do you like best about the product?
For both personal and team use, Asana is very easy to use, keep organized, and complete tasks and projects on time. The hierarchy of projects, tasks, and subtasks is logical and keeps the application clean. The 'My Tasks' feed allows you to prioritize most pressing items and sort accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expectedly, there are some limitation to the free version that would be great to be able to access if you're just using the application for personal organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Eliminating multiple applications to keep track of daily tasks. Team collaboration provides transparency on where tasks and projects stand, cutting down on back-and-forth email communication.
My review of Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that the software is flexible, fast, and carries a sleek and modern design. It has a very capable free version and it is feature-rich as well. The new Timeline view makes it easier to manage dependencies.
What do you dislike about the product?
This software is not ideal for graphics-intensive work. One simply can't switch between Task and Kanban project views after creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is a top-notch collaboration tool that helps our team manage all kinds of tasks. Although it was a bit confusing at first, its flexibility and vast capabilities were well worth the initial effort it takes to get started.
It's a website where you can post tasks and others can comment and view them
What do you like best about the product?
We like it alot because as the Project Managers type in their progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is not cheap for what it is. The difference with Asana is that when users comment on tasks, the people "following" the task get notified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All the comments are on the cloud.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you use Word docs for meeting notes, switch to Asana. No need for Word docs in this century.
Value for money
What do you like best about the product?
The free version is great. My team and I had been using the free version for a quite few months and it worked great to fit our needs then. But as the project complexities grew we needed to the timeline feature to create Gantt charts. That's when we decided to switch to the paid version of Asana.
I like the intuitive user interface the most and the ability to create subtasks within tasks. I also like that it's easy to add and remove teammates, easy to assign tasks and receiving email notifications for upcoming tasks due is great too.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. We haven't really explored the timeline feature yet, so can't say about the experience but it'd be good to see a tutorial or guidance in the app itself on making the most out of Asana timeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing and tracking team projects, assignments and roles and responsibilities.
