Asana for medical

What do you like best about the product?
Great for project management. Very powerful efficient tool that allows multiple projects with multiple team members work smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app version on the mobile does not have all the capabilities and this can be limiting. The mobile app is only good for simple to do lists. Also filtering tasks can be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All members of the team can see all tasks and let others know of something is being worked on or fixed. Makes the days go by smoother.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it helps me prioritize my tasks and is easy to see the lists in a checklist format. It is great that I can interact on there and especially assign tasks to certain people with due dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes messages and assignments can get lost in a sub task if you don't know how to navigate it properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
task completion and team task completion
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure everyone is trained properly on the use of the software. I think its fantastic for personal growth and organization as well as team building because it really allows for accountability within a department.

Effective Project Management Tool

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is great about allowing you to manage your own projects and managing up, since you can create tasks for anyone on your team. I'm not sure if that is a specific privilege granted by a system admin or if the software defaults to letting anyone on on the team assign a task to anyone else. But I really like the ability to set up a task for a co-worker after a discuss or email, to ensure follow-through. Asana also allows you to see completed tasks, which is great to have on hand before review season.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can sometimes find it a little confusing that when a person comments on a task directly in Asana, I am sent an email from the Asana address. But overall, I think that's pretty minor and doesn't reduce the usability or functionality of the platform. I wish Asana had a feature like the Nudge in Gmail, where it would tell you "You sent a message to your teammate about this assignment 5 days ago and haven't heard back. Want to follow-up?" Because people get busy, so it would be nice to have help remembering who I need to circle back with on projects in order to hit deadlines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team is better able to manage cross-responsibilities with Asana-- we are a small team of 4 people and Asana gives us the power to re-assign tasks as needed. That keeps everyone meeting deadlines and readjusting priorities as needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great free tool that is effective for improved project management. Try it for yourself and see.

Great Organization Tool

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the collaborative effect, we use this at meetings and it's helpful to be able to categorize and run through the important and due topics.

I also really enjoy the fact that multiple people can be on at once editing and using the product, for a lot of other products you can't all be logged on at once. In meetings, many of us can be taking notes and running through lists without disrupting each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it collaborated more with things like Hootsuite and Google Docs. I don't really have many dislikes about it because we use the free version -- I feel that for a free version of this product it is insanely awesome!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this tool for project management so a lot of organizational problems have been solved. We are able to make sure that everyone is using it to track their projects correctly.

I feel as though it would be beneficial to move to a paid version of Asana in order to better track projects, and it's super inexpensive too! Only $19.99 a month to be able to have a few people from your team collaborating on a project. I'm sure the enterprise level would be perfect for companies with large groups that need support.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Probably use the paid version if you want more defined projects!

A digital to-do list

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is useful for tracking work on shared projects through task management and project-based communications. The ability to assign work and associate conversations with it on a project and task level facilitates coordination amongst teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The organizational structure of Asana can get unwieldy. With everything happening with a defined team, as the number of teams and projects grows finding things becomes more challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana enables us to see the steps of a project and understand where we are at as a team relative to their completion. We are able to identify (and add) steps that have been overlooked, and anyone can identify areas that need additional attention if they are lagging behind the rest of the project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be clear on whether you want people to use Asana as an individual productivity tool or a team collaboration tool. If it's the latter, you need to have broad adoption within the teams in which it is used.

I’m able to keep my client organized. He has a list to refer back to.

Versatile Project Management Application

What do you like best about the product?
I like the Kanban feature which I can easily share with colleagues and set different access levels (e.g., owner, member, can edit, etc). The Gantt chart and calendar features are also useful. Aside from that, if I am working on multiple projects, I can create a tracker using their new Portolio feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how it is not very intuitive when it comes to design. Some non-tech savvy users may find it hard to navigate the subtasks, inbox, and attachments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Asana for tracking the onbarding of our new employees. It is also very useful in terms of collaborating with coworkers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make the most out of Asana's features like kanban boards and portfolios.

What do you like best about the product?
As someone who absolutely loves being organized and making lists, this program is absolutely perfect for me. It helps me to stay on top of all my tasks, as well as the tasks that others are asking me to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe I simply have not found this yet, but I wish there was a way to find all of the completed tasks. It would be really helpful to be able to see what I have already completed. Maybe there is a way to do this, but I simply have not found it yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If I do not write something down, I will not remember to do it. Asana has helped me to keep a record of everything that I need to do. I also really enjoy the ability to check things off my list, because then I feel accomplished and am able to be more productive through the day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is super easy to use and is really helpful to get things done. Just make sure that you are making use of all of the features that is offered! There is so much that can be ignored, because it is not a necessity, but it will make life so much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create project and track progress across multiple teams. It easily integrates with slack so I no longer have to receive a ton of emails.I also like how you can favorite projects. We have a large team of 25 people and the number of project can sometimes get out of control.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the inbox was a little easier to manage. It currently looks like a social media scrolling-esque news feed. I wish it looked more like gmail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project management. projects usually include 4 different teams (digital, content, web design, ad images) and it's easy to keep it all organized.
