Not new user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
In theory, it has all of the built in functions I need (task assignment, creation of subtasks with deadlines, attachment of files, etc)
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall design is neither appealing nor efficient. It is not easy to navigate or easily track progress without multiple clicks. It lacks the visual cleanliness of other project management programs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're testing it out to use for project run by the education team but completed by others. At this point, many people are just ignoring it and using their own tracking methods since asana is a pain
A team and task management tool with advance features.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is extremely user friendly and economical. It allows you to track your projects and tasks. It allows you to create different types of teams according to the requirement of your task. It allows coherent team communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up privacy with Asana is quite confusing. It does not provide custom forms either. It also does not automatically provide Gantt charts for your tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana offers abundant features to plan and organize your work. It provides effective file management. It supports third party integration too. It provides collaborative workspace that ensures all users have access to all the uploaded information.
Optimize your task management!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is its ease of use and its simple learning curve, for people it is easier to use this software and identify with the assigned tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is significantly limited in some way, especially in the reports that play an important role in the performance of each talent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to collect reports and monitor projects, it is easy to enter tasks in our workspace, and grouping the tasks and classifying them by the due date of the tasks, the software made the whole team very productive and the projects will be completed on time.
Asana works well for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can divide each task into it's own category and assign tasks to others in your network. it is very streamlined
What do you dislike about the product?
I think sometimes the different types of views can get overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are delegating assignments to our team internally and are staying streamlined and working well as a cohesive task force.

None
Doesn't seem any more useful than communicating through email
What do you like best about the product?
It stores all of our information, but so does just about every other product ever used. Cant really think of great things I liked about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't seem any more useful than communicating through email. they layout is odd, and the way to communicate isnt intuitive. Just communicate through email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to communicate with our freelancers, but we could just as easily do that through email. Just seems unnecessary.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly suggest just finding other means of project management.
Asana made things easier
What do you like best about the product?
I adore how I can set a due date for things and have the capacity to approach checking things off as I go. Having a set time to complete something has stirred very in staying aware of every day assignments and repeating errands on a step by step or week by week premise.
What do you dislike about the product?
it's a great program, Honestly, i love the program
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are overseeing enormous business arrangements extends that require bih group and steady checking. Asana causes us to deal with the task all the more adequately and all the more effectively. There is just less human exertion required.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sorting out ventures in a customary manner is very muddled, since it requires a great deal of time and gatherings. With Asana you spare that time, improve correspondence between the groups and furthermore assume greater responsibility for the targets and undertakings of your activities, so I think it is a decent instrument to spare time.
A fantastic project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the best at what it does: it tells me what my tasks are and when they're due. When I feel lost, I turn back to Asana to help me get back on track. The clean interface, cute typography, and easy toggling makes switching between projects a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's honestly nothing to dislike about Asana--back when I started using it in 2017, I found that there were some minor quirks, but those are now gone after some updates.
I feel like it was difficult to get my older coworkers to jump on board. Not a single one of them use it. So if you happen to work with people who prefer to keep track of items over email, be prepared to face a hurdle when trying to get them to adopt the software. In fact, I'm the only one in the company who uses it (and we paid to have more than 1 seat. It's a bit of a waste). I wish Asana adjusted their marketing to appeal to people 40 years and older. At my previous company, where everyone was a millennial, there was no problem getting everyone to use it. Here, it's been a little difficult. I'll keep trying.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management. I especially like segmenting my tasks--"Website," "Social Media," and so on. That way I can focus on only one thing at any given time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to take advantage of all the features.
Asana keeps me organized!
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that Asana allows our firm to communicate and collaborate our ideas and tasks efficiently. The ability to organize and sort cases and events with so many sub-categories is phenomenal! I love the daily, weekly, and monthly overviews that Asana provides us as it helps to ensure that nothing slips through the cracks in our busy firm!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had more of a professional style to it. While I love the colors and bubbles, it doesn’t seem to scream “I’m a professional!” when I need to share my screen with people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana keeps us far more organized than any type of case/project management software that we have tried. Nothing slips between the cracks or gets overlooked now which makes us a better firm.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will not regret giving Asana a try! You’ll become hooked.
Good product
What do you like best about the product?
I love how this program can keep me on track with tasks due, as well as help collaborate with other team members on projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a better way to assign two people to a task. Right now, when assigned two people to a task, it just makes a copy of the task for the second person assigned. I wish that two people could just be assigned one original task that they would both be able to edit, update, and complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business is now trying to assign all employees to necessary projects, so that they have access to important company information that will be useful when communicating with clients.
Repetitive task? There you go
What do you like best about the product?
Asana can be used for free and in business version. A lot of people will find the free version just fine. It's great for repetitive tasks and you can customize if tasks should occur at special days, weeks, months etc. You can plan far ahead and share between teams or keep tasks to yourself. It's a software that's nice to use for these small things that you would like to keep out of your normal ticket tool etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is a great tool and it's really hard to find something to put a finger on. User management in regards to private tasks could be better as people do get sick every now and then. You need to get used at customizing repetitive tasks to your need and the search index is not always precise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a cheap and simple tool to create tasks and follow tasks for colleagues on sick leave. Asana do this really well and it's really easy to set-up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think about in what context you will be using the tool. It's great for tasks etc but will still be lacking some in regards to project management. Also evaluate if you need the business version or if the free version will be enough.
